I am president of a 6-unit condo building in the Hyde Park area near the University of Chicago. my mouse problem began in July of this year. Not a typical time for the little fellas to come inside. I called an exterminator and they came out, set bait traps and sprayed. Well, within 4 weeks I had them back to my house 3 times because the problem was still there. I had a different company come out and do a free spray for me stating that they take care of mice. After calling them to discuss what they could do, I was told that they did not have anything special they could do to get rid of mice. I set my own traps, caught several of them but the problem persisted. I even attempted to fill gaps outside my house myself (it wasn't pretty) and the gaps between my countertop and cabinets. I still had them coming in. I was desperate. No one would guarantee that they could get rid of the mice and everyone had the same idea...bait traps. I googled "mouse killers" and found Mice Mob. So I called. Ryan came out to my house. He said that they guarantee that they will get rid of the mice. NO ONE would guarantee that. Fantastic company. I used them 3 years ago when I moved into my new house and found a few mice (YIKES!). I chose the simplest package. They did a through job and gave me a year guarantee. I didn't see a mouse after they left. They put mesh around my siding and did an aseptic sanitation of my attic to get rid of any scent train. My old mistake is that I didn't renew my guarantee yearly. This year I found another mouse in the house. I called and the owner (I believe) was very polite and professional. They came early the next day to do a walk through. We discussed my options and they upgraded me to the 'higher' package since I had already used them in the past. My house has older siding which has naturally pulled apart from the house leaving openings for mice. The workers were prompt and professional when they came. They spent almost a whole day going through every inch of my house to find the possible entry points. They explained to me that they placed galvanized steel covering where the siding pulled away, replaced cracked pavement and fixed my garage door gap. They also cleared out the scent trail with the aseptic cleaner. I have not seen a mouse since. The price was very reasonable for all of the work they did. I am very happy with the service. We purchased a recently constructed house with a nice farm field in our backyard. Within a few months of moving in, we were hearing scratching in the walls/by our fireplace and caught 25+ mice in the garage. Couldn't keep up with the traps! Until we hired the Mice Mob, we had no idea that exposed foam board between our siding and the foundation made it possible for a mouse highway going into our walls. Almost a year ago, Mike and his crew came out and reinforced the entire perimeter of our house with galvanized steal. They guaranteed their work for a year, and they stick by their guarantee! These mice are ruthless in our area. I'm so glad I went with Mice Mob! I used another extermination company similar to them before, but they used a lot of unnecessary ways of "mouse-proofing" the house which didn't even work properly, so I found Mice Mob. We've had repeated mouse problems in the basement and I'd had enough! lol Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, worked hard digging and cleaning around my house all day. After they cleaned up the basement and crawl space, they sanitized the rooms (which makes me feel a lot better honestly). They even noted I had some tree branches that were too close to the roof, and I allowed them to trim them and wasn't charged anything extra. We bought a new house in Libertyville and the inspection had shown mouse droppings so we needed to have that checked out before we moved in. We called Mice Mob and Kevin came out within only a matter of days to check out the house. He did a full inspection on the outside and then talked with me about any concerns we had about the inside of the house. From everything he saw, the issue had already been taken care of by the previous owners including wrapping the house in sheet metal. He told me he didn't think we had a mouse problem at all and told me a little trick I could do to see if we had any mice inside the house. We have used exterminators for a hundred bucks or so. But if they don't find where the mice are coming in... and plug up the holes, we were back to square one year after year. This service was EXACTLY what we were hoping for. Someone to go around the outside and inside of our home and find any little space that a mouse could come in.The guys were meticulous, did a nice clean job and found spaces that we never dreamed a mouse would find. They had the bait system down to a science and then came back to plug the holes up tight. A guarantee that a mouse will not re-enter. Have dealt with mice issues for years, but had given up on all of the companies that set traps, bait and then left it up to us to face them the next season! Grrr! Matt was very open on our first phone conversation about what he could do and his minimum inspection fee. He arrived at out appointment on time and prepared to do a thorough inspection. As he suspected during our phone call it was more of a sewer problem than anything else. He gave me very specific advice on what to do and offered to be available by phone for my plumber if he had any questions. Even though he spent a fair bit of time during the inspection he only charged the minimum inspection fee we discussed. Just bought a new house and once the weather got cold saw some mice inside. I had a mouse sighting at least once a day and they ignored the traps I set out. Highly recommend these guys! Matt came out and examined the exterior and interior. He found the entry points for the mice, and also found a problem with the catch basin in the backyard. Rats had dug a tunnel and could potentially become an issue inside the house. He referred me to a plumbing company that could fix that problem. His advice was to fix the catch basin and get a handyman to fix an interior access point behind a stove immediately. Then his company will come back out and fix all of the exterior access points. They were very professional and were able to determine the type of rodent we were having trouble with, as well as giving us free advice on the issue. Never had mice problems till this year so I decided to go on Yelp for any local exterminators and picked them! Not gonna lie, it was a lot of money BUT they did an above and beyond job! It's worth it. I did see a lot of people rated them 4-5 stars but who wants a house with mice problems!? They sprayed chemicals and patch any holes outside of our house + garage door. Matt serviced our home a couple years ago and was great to work with. We decided to seal our house vs having to treat our home on a regular basis.
