I had birds in the attic. Bob came. I didn't have birds in the attic anymore. The birds never came back. Thanks, Bob. I've got a bunch more projects for you to work on when you can find the time. Thanks for being an honest and affable guy. Quality people do quality work. read more

Bobcat Trapping and Building - He repaired the siding perfectly because we had a momma squirrel which he humanley removed - Wildlife Control Near Me - Hanover Park, Illinois

I used this "business" because of all the great reviews. Bob came out and talked a good game but I never got the service he promised. He took my money, had a couple guys do some pounding on my roof, put on some vent covers, didn't complete half of what was to be done, and never returned as he said he would. I'm not sure what his basis is for who he treats properly and who he doesn't but I absolutely would not recommend his services. Every piece of my gutter he replaced, still leaks and the gutters overflow worse than they did before he touched them. I reached out to him and received an excuse about him having health issues. He said he'd be back out to resolve the issues. That was March 2nd, 2026. I haven't seen Bob, but I do see posts stating he's been working on other homes. The disrespect is amazing. It's a good thing I have all of our text messages saved because this guy robbed me. Don't believe these reviews. I don't know who's writing them but I can't imagine receiving topnotch service from a guy who didn't resolve any issues and ran away with a woman's money. There's also an animal still living in my attic. The BBB and court is next. I want my money back. If he thinks I'm going to keep reminding him to do his job, he has another thing coming. Oh, and to this day - there's still a trap on the top of my house. It's been there for 6 months. I'll upload pictures and text messages when I get time. read more

Bob was very knowledgeable about raccoons and their way of life. He is very easy to get ahold of, was prompt to his appointment and texted when he was in able to make it. He set up traps, explained that it may take several days of weeks and came back and re-baited them to keep them fresh. read more

Bob did an amazing job taking care of the woodpecker situation we had. He even took care of the damage by repairing it. He was very professional and knowledgeable and has our highest recommendation.. read more

Bob's the Best!! He came out to look at a skunk nest that had been built under my porch. He developed an effective plan and worked it until he could confirm that every last skunk had been captured. The additional pest-proofing that was installed has worked like a charm! I also enjoyed having conversations with Bob and his workers while they were on the job; they are very knowledgeable but also personable with a sense of humor. I know exactly who to call if I ever have a critter problem again or if someone asks me if I know a critter guy! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

Bob was amazing and so helpful! Great communication and fixed our third garage attic - no more smell! Thanks Bob!

Bob is very responsive and even came out on a Sunday as we had a chipmunk in our soffit. After an inspection of the roof and perimeter, he set a couple traps with daily follow-ups. Ricky and Jordan then sealed up any potential entry points. Pricing is very reasonable and we will use them again if needed. read more

Bob was great! From the initial inspection to giving a great long term solution. He was very communicative and very easy to work with. Would for sure recommend him! read more

Highly recommend using Bob. He was super friendly, on time (on a Saturday) and extremely reasonable. After many failed attempts with several other companies, I came across Bob and I'm glad I did. He came and got a birds nest out of my 3rd story condo. He cleaned it out and fixed the dryer vent cover. Would definitely use his services again! read more

I have used two other wildlife removal services previous to Bobcat and was disappointed as the results were mediocre at best! We had raccoons nesting in our attic. Bob came out, analyzed the situation gave us a fair quote and got the job done. Bob and his team are totally skilled, professional and courteous. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Bobcat Trapping to any friends, family members or anyone. Bobcat is now my goto company for any wildlife issue! read more

I had a Skunk issue under my front stoop. After extensive research I found out about Bob at BobCat Trapping & Building. Bob replied instantly, showed up on time and was very professional through my entire issue. After the removal, he suggested different solutions to prevent this from ever happening again. Used tarps for the dirt, kept the mulch separated and put everything back as if nothing happened. Was VERY VERY reasonable when it came to cost. I highly recommend Bob and his team.. read more

Bob and his team are skilled, responsive, and get the job done. We have used them for years and are always satisfied. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommended! We moved into our new house and discovered that we had skunks living under our porch. The smell was getting into the house and on a Sunday morning it was so bad that we had to evacuate the house! We were desperate and contacted Bob due to great yelp reviews. He got back to us within the hour (on a Sunday!) and began taking care of the problem right away. He ended up finding more skunks than we thought we had and was incredibly diligent in making sure that the work was done properly and in a timely fashion. He didn't even ask for any payment until the entire job was done and showed up daily to check on progress. I am glad we hired Bob rather than someone else or rather than trying to do the work ourselves. The price is also very reasonable! read more

Don't waste your time with the franchise type places, they have a sales quota. I was given a 4k proposal to trap, clean for Raccoons in attic by one of those places. Bob came by and said they never made it in, tore the shingles in several spots but no entry. See, he got in the roof and did full inspection. Sales guy from other company would not go on room, so did lookin attic and said- yes, you definitely have them in there. Bob does the trapping and any needed repairs. Great service and value at FRACTION of the price. read more

Used them twice to get rid of birds (house and more recently detached garage), and each time has been a pleasure to work with. Great communication and service. Always looking for folks like him to rely upon for things around the house. read more

I've had a few different companies to my home to address some wildlife concerns. In spite of this, I still found a dead bird and a live mouse (!) in my house. This time I called Bobcat Trapping and it was a much better experience. Bob did a very thorough inspection and found some gaps and points of entry that the other companies failed to mention or notice. He gave very practical advice for addressing my concerns and could not have been nicer. Whether this is your first time addressing a wildlife concern, or you are just ready to have your problem solved once and for all, I heartily recommend you give Bobcat Trapping a call. read more

Bob is wonderful! I found squirrels in my backyard shed. Bob came out and explained the process, and had momma and teens removed and the hole patched. His assistant did warn me that the roof was rotting and that the squirrels might return and open up a new hole. A few weeks later the teens and a newly pregnant mom were back. Bob came out , caught the squatters, and replaced the whole roof . No squirrels in the shed any more but I suspect the young ones are hanging out in my yard. He does get very busy. But he keeps you updated. He so a good person as well. read more

Reviews - a lot of time people write them when they only have a bad experience. If you see a bunch of all positive reviews, you might be skeptical. Well, I'm here to write a 100% legit, positive review about Bobcat Trapping. I had an issue with squirrels on my roof. Not sure if they were getting into the house or what they were doing, but I was constantly hearing their fast "footsteps". I researched to see who I should have come to take a look and found all these great reviews for Bobcat Trapping. I called and talked to Bob on a Friday afternoon and he was able to come out on Saturday. He surveyed the situation and gave me the plan of action. He set up humane traps and stopped by anytime he was in the area on another call to see if we caught anything. All in all, we got 5 culprits (he takes them and releases them to a wooded area) and sealed up the spots where they were getting into the soffits. Bob and crew were reliable, provided pricing that was more than reasonable, treated the squirrels humanely, did great work, and were also great people. I had quite a few nice conversations with them while they worked, ranging from talking about wildlife to every day life. The highest praise I can give is I'd recommend Bobcat Trapping to anyone and I'd use them again if/when the need arises. read more

We had a squirrel running around in the attic. Tried several places, Bob was the only one who answered our call on a weekend and scheduled a call for the next day. Bob came out, figured out the point of entry and took care of everything in about an hour. The squirrel had gotten out of the attic by that point, so we were just able to seal the entry points, no need for trapping. Will definitely call him again if we have any similar problems. read more

Timely and effective squirrel nest removal. They caught the mother and removed the nest of babies. Everything was completed in less than 24-hours. Competitively priced. Recommended. read more

Very professional and affordable service to get rid of our mice problem. Bob was very thorough in his approach to solve the rodent issue. And he was a delight to interact with him. I would totally recommend to my friends and neighbors. 5 stars. read more

Bob is the best! We had a skunk spray under our house during a blizzard and power outage and needless to say, the smell was just awful. I called him and was happy to hear he had availability the next morning. I was concerned that the skunk was IN our crawlspace. That's how strong the smell was. Bob came out and was able to tell just by looking at tracks that the skunk lived under our neighbor's house, but we had a opossum under ours. He set several humane traps and caught the opossum once the snow melted a bit. When looking at our crawlspace, Bob also discovered we had mice. We had no idea! He has since completed work to make sure that the perimeter of our house is mouse-proof and larger animals can no longer get under our home. It was amazing how quickly the number of mice he was was catching went down. It seems now that we are mouse free! While he was completing the animal-proofing, Bob noticed more tracks, set another trap and caught a huge skunk. We're quite sure it's the one who sprayed our home and we're glad it's gone! On top of being extremely knowledgeable, Bob is also very pleasant and nice to talk to. I might not miss the critters, but having Bob come by definitely made the experience more enjoyable. read more

Great company! Squirrel residents in attic were evicted at a reasonable price. Thanks Bobcat team

Great service!! We called Bobcat Trapping because we heard some loud noises in our attic. Bob was very quick to return our call. He asked a lot of questions to asses the situation. He explained everything that could be possible, what interventions might be needed and explained pricing. He came out and found how the creature got in; it was they the attic fan. He inspected the attic and then set traps on the roof. It took a few days but two squirrels were caught and no more noises in our attic, hooray!! Bob really know his stuff! He put a grate over the attic fan so no other creatures get any ideas. Bob is great to work with, keeps in contact and is there when he says he will be there. There were no contracts to sign, no surprise charges and work was done very well and the price was very fair. Hopefully we won't have this need again but if we do Bobcat Trapping is our first call! Highly recommend! read more

I don't normally write reviews, but Bob did such a good job ridding my house of squirrels, I felt like I should let the world know. I came home from a work trip to a hole in my wall, with a piece of tree branch sticking out of it... on the INSIDE of my house. I called a pest control company (they do not deal with pests larger than rats) and they suggested Bob. He was prompt in setting traps, and the 3 idiot squirrels that were living for free in my walls were trapped in less than 6 hours. He came out the next day and removed them to live their life out in suburbia, patched up the holes they made, and squirrel-proofed behind my gutters (their personal entrance into my house). The price was very reasonable and he completed the work quickly and neatly. Also, he's probably the nicest guy you'd ever wanna meet! Thanks Bob! read more

Bob is the absolute best! He worked with my schedule and did food work despite my not being able to be home most of the time he had to come out. He caught 5 squirrels that had made a home in my attic. He is the 3rd service I've called and the only one to succeed in trapping all the squirrels from the nest AND sealing the space where they were getting in. I will not have squirrels in my attic anymore! read more

Bob and his team are the best! So professional, knowledgeable and responsive. They helped us trap and remove raccoons that were hiding under our deck. An absolute pleasure to work with Bob and his team! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I think Bob deserves special praise. We had squirrel issues for years. It was a pleasure dealing with Bob. We had 7 squirrels living in our attic. It took Bob a couple of trips to catch them and remove them from our property. Afterward, his crew did a great job in squirrel proofing our house. Finally, our life is free of rodents. We can sleep in, instead of waking up early morning by the scratching noises of the squirrels. His prices are very reasonable and his service is outstanding. So, don't delay, call Bob today. read more

I definitely recommend Bob and team. We initially hired them to deal with some squirrels who had moved into our attic, and then the raccoon who moved in to have babies inside. The team was communicative, visited often, and responded very well to text about what was going on. It felt good to be in the know and communicating with someone when you have a lot of anxiety about what's happening in your home. Yes it took a few weeks to resolve the issue, but they did a great job of sealing up all the holes keeping us in the loop and was affordable to boot. While I hope I never need to, I would call Bob and his team again in the future. read more

Bob is great. Do not call anyone else. If you've already called someone else, chances are you are getting ripped off. Cancel and call Bob, you won't regret. We had two families of squirrels in our attic. Had worked with a trapper who set up a single trap on the inside of my house. Weeks went by and nothing. We called Bob. Within one week, Bob and his crew caught both families, removed them, and sealed up all the holes (and then some). I want to say it was like 8 squirrels. Anyway..... Bob is the guy to call if you have wildlife where it shouldn't be. read more

We had a fairly obvious problem by our house. A skunk. Based on the Yelp reviews we called Bobcat Trapping. We were very glad we did. Bob came to the house immediately and inspected the area. They began setting traps right away. They even helped moved some stuff from the porch for us. Bob took care of everything that needed to be done. It took a few days to get the skunk but Bobcat trapping checked every day and made adjustments to the traps wherever necessary. It turned out that the one skunk that was caught very quickly was the only one and the rest of the time was Bob being very thorough. After They were sure the area under our porch was clear they then installed a barrier to protect against this from happening again. I very highly recommend Bobcat Trapping for needs in this area. They took a very unpleasant situation and made it simple. read more

I normally don't write reviews (although I should) unless the service I experience is really stellar or really poor. Bob would fall into the stellar category. Bob helped us with a raccoon issue in our backyard. It had been quivering on our patio for about 5-6 hours during the morning/afternoon. I messaged Bob on Yelp and he messaged me right back with the most fair quote of all the others I had gotten. Apparently the raccoon was sick and wouldn't be going anywhere on his own. Bob was timely, professional and most of all, kind and honest. He communicated with me via text to let me know when he would be able to come out (that same day). He also let me know when he was about ten minutes away. I was in the middle of putting my baby to sleep and I texted him that I may not be able to answer the door right away. He told me, "all good, I remember those days..." and went about his work. By the time I came down, he had the raccoon and got the job done. If you're looking for an HONEST company, Bob is the guy for you. read more

Bob's crew covered our shed to prevent critters from getting under the shed. The 2 guys did an outstanding job with detail and finishing. Bob was very responsive to all communication and was on the job at the beginning and end to make sure everything was done right. They were so neat at the job site you wouldn't know they were even here. There is no way critters are going to get in under our shed with how they dug 12" deep and 12" out to put wire and then trimmed over it to match the shed. Very happy with the job and highly recommend them. Will use again in the future. read more

Wow what a blessing! I had skunks making a home under my deck and my dogs just loved to "play" with them. Called Bobcat Trapping & Building and within a day they sent someone out to set traps So relieved. They safely trapped and transported the stinkers away and followed up within a few days to make sure they had captured all of them. I also contracted them to apply their carpentry skills to build and close off the area around my deck to avoid future varmint problems. Timely, professional and friendly service. Very rare to find these days. Bob was a gem to deal with. The price was also reasonable. Definitely would highly recommend . read more

We have been working with Bobcat for about 2 years (found him on Thumbtack). I echo the other reviewers in saying he is great. He is very responsive (I too have gotten replies on Sunday) and also knowledgeable, effective, reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with. We have had issues with voles/chipmunks (under the stoop), mice and bats. We have had other trappers with no success. Bob figured out and fixed the problems in every case and as a result our house is now animal free! He checks in often and follows through, which is so great. He also installed gutter guards on our house for us. He used a high quality product and his installation was very professional. They work great. Thanks Bob for everything! read more

I need to give a shoutout to Bob Laussen and Bobcat Trapping and Building! Until we started working with Bob and his crew, we were extremely frustrated by unresolved pest/wildlife issues. We have a wooded lot; our yard is frequented by wildlife. Squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, opossums, mice, foxes, deer, rabbits, etc frequent our yard. For years, we contacted pest control services about hearing mice in the walls. Most companies set traps, put out poisonous bait, and/or simply handed us glue traps. The problem was never resolved. A few companies even told us we were imagining the sounds. Most companies would not go into the attic or basement to identify entry points. After researching a few companies, we discovered Bobcat Trapping and Building - what a blessing! Bob's comprehensive knowledge of construction and pest control are unmatched! He immediately identified and closed up all possible entry points for mice. We've been mouse free for over 3 years now! We recently had an issue with squirrels. Bob responded quickly to our solution requests - trapped the animals and provided repairs including preventative measures. You cannot find a better pest control service! Oh, he also proactively provided repairs and preventative measures for woodpecker damage. Bob is responsive, thorough, professional and very friendly. His prices are very reasonable. You cannot go wrong working with Bob and his company. We are forever clients! read more

Bob was prompt, professional and efficient. He was able to rectify our skunk issue quickly and as humanly as possible. Highly recommended
