However, the food was very salty and not fresh. My husband ordered the steak and was sick for the next day and a half. I ordered the oysters and they were fine, but the oyster Rockefeller was gross. It tasted like spinach artichoke dip on top of empty oyster shells. The Mac and cheese was bland and tasteless. My daughter had the crab dip which was straight up salt in a bowl. A few dishes tasted as though they'd spent too long under a heat lamp or at the bottom of a holding pot. I heard a nearby diner complain that the lobster pie dish, which seemed like a good has-to-be-freshly-made option, was overly salty. Nothing I had was inedible, but the food had a mid-quality Sysco-truck feel and was surprisingly lacking in flavor. Makes you wonder if this is the owners' first stab at the restaurant business. The staff were nice and trying to figure out the price point for my bag -- it was kinda big LOL. Once we got that figured it out and I made my choices, I was on my way.
