Yes it's traditional American, but there's a lack of seasoning and flavor in the food. French fries? Bland. Mac and Cheese? Bland. Cheeseburger? Bland. Fried chicken? Mid. My family members had, the chicken tenders meal, chicken fried chicken, cheeseburger, patty melt and bbq burger. The food service was quicker than expected and everyone's food came out just the way they wanted. The dining areas are very clean. It's a real family dinner vibe with the long tables and lit porch area. I recommend if you're in the area and would like a laid back vibe with great food. Went once and got meatloaf and chicken tacos. Food was good. The next time we went back we got meatloaf and catfish. The catfish was inedible. And the meatloaf was just so so this time around. I don't like the trend of paying before you get your food. This leaves little to no leverage when food is substandard. Wow!!! This place was amazing!!! For beginners the cashier made sure there was sangria before ringing us up. She also made great recommendations for what we should try. Very spacious and opened country feel. Got the Beckett's chicken bits. The chicken is well seasoned and moist. I didn't like the sauce that it came with, too much mustard for my taste. We got the chicken fried steak with cream corn and mashed potatoes. The chicken fried steak was crunchy and a little spicy from the jalapeño cream sauce. The breading was a too salty for me. The mashed potatoes where average. And the cream corn was fairly sweet and had a little canned flavor to it. Probably won't come back. read more

First time back since Covid and very disappointed! Husband ordered meat loaf and they placed the burnt side down on the plate. Nice try, he noticed it tasted burnt and told them. They made him another plate and it was better (if you like meat loaf). My steak tacos each had one small strip of meat about the size of my finger. They were good (only reason for 2 stars) but, not worth what they cost. We don't mind paying for great food but their food is way overpriced for what you get! Food here is AMAZING!!! Be sure to try the Chicken Strips, Mac-n-Cheese, Sweet Potato Fries and Jalapeño gravy, they are my go to when ordering because it's fabulous. My kids love the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Tomato Pesto sauce on it and my husband has a different item everytime we go and loves it. So don't hesitate to eat here because it is freshly cooked food daily and you can tell by the quality and the taste. Also, the inside of the restaurant is super cute how they have it decorated and set up. The service is top notch here and they always serve you with a smile. Came for lunch on a Wednesday at 11 and we just beat the lunch rush. Indoor seating filled up very quickly, but they had covered seating outside if people decided. The decor was very homey and the staff was friendly and attentive. They would always make sure you had a full glass to drink or if we needed refills on chips or other various sides. I got the chicken fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans and it came in a big portion size. Enough to take home for a full dinner. It wasn't dry, the meat to batter ratio was good and had a good amount of gravy on the side. I was also impressed that they gave you buttered Texas toast on the side as well! The green beans had chunks of bacon bits that added the perfect amount of saltiness. If you are too full for their desserts, they have a FREE soft serve station for that little extra bite. I believe the only flavor is vanilla but they do offer cones to have with it as well. read more

Omg my mom ,dad and myself went to Mia's Table and it was the best experience ever. Food was great, atmosphere was fun. My soup and salad was sooo good. Soup tasted like my grandma cooking. I have been here twice and both times were very good experiences. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken and it was so good and for my sides i got Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans with an extra Side of Mac and cheese. Everything was good but the best part was definatly the Chicken Fried Chicken. The only thing i would of changed was the Gravey i got. Great retro diner ambiance with a friendly staff. This a concept dreamt up by non other than Johnny Carrabba himself and named after his daughter. They have counter service and bring your food to your table. Southern comfort style menu with a few twists. Easy to please a large crowd with picky eaters. They didn't miss a detail when developing this establishment. There isn't a bad selection on the menu. Everything is made in house with care. Most entrees come with a selection of sides. They have all the southern classics such as mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, cole slaw, creamed corn, black eyed peas, baked beans, mashed potatoes and regular or sweet potato fries. There are a handful of salads to choose from for a lighter choice from the comfort style platters. Some of the great entrees I have had include -meat loaf (probably better than what your grandmother would make) -chicken fried steak (almost as big as their huge plates and coated with the best damn jalapeño gravy) -backyard half chicken (juicy and flavorful) -fried shrimp and catfish (fresh and hand battered) -any of their burgers (cooked just right on a buttered and toasted bun) -kickin' chicken fried chicken sandwich (hand battered fried chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce and jalapeño gravy that will make you forget about Popeyes) Their beverage selection isn't just fountain drink sodas. They make their own lemonade, orange passion fruit, and strawberry lemonade (it's like a dessert on its own) along with fresh sweet and unsweetened tea. They have a selection on adult beverages as well ranging from beers, margaritas, white and red wines. The desserts alone are worth a visit. Hand spun milk shakes, cookies baked in house, fudgey brownies and an amazing banana pudding. There is a great selection of kids options at a great price too. My parents were very upset when Bonefish Grill closed down, so they were skeptical about this burger joint taking its place. My big brother and his wife happen to love this place, Mia's Table, and insisted we try it. The place is spacious, the selection on the menu is thorough and everything is homemade. The waiters are nice and bring your food with a smile. I wouldn't want to eat in the outdoor area because it's surrounded by a glass interior, which is not the best place to dine during the Texas Summer heat. It's still crowded inside due to the placement of the tables, the ridiculous amount of store ingredients placed at the ordering station and in between the dining area. It's completely unnecessary. With the very few TVs, it can get loud quickly with sports fans yelling fill up the room. All the tacos only come in corn tortillas, some people believe it or not don't like corn tortillas. In my opinion, Mia's Table is no different than the restaurant chain, Steak and Shake. I'm not a burger fan, so I ordered a salad when me and my parents came here for the first time. They seemed to enjoy it and I enjoyed their Asian salad and one of their luscious fudgey brownies. I'm just not sure I would want to come back here myself, unless it was a family get together than I HAD to come back to Mia's. read more

The entire family enjoyed our first trip to Mia's table, which included a table of 12 kids & adults over the lunch hour. After ordering at the counter, and just a few minutes of waiting, we were able to put a few tables together to accommodate the large table. Mia's menu ranges from burgers, tacos, chicken fingers to salads - so you can easily find something for everyone. For our picky eaters, this determines where we go! We thoroughly enjoy Mia's Table. We've come 5 times since they opened! It's counter service so you order upon entering and then they give you a buzzer, you get your beverage from the fountain drinks and take a seat, and they bring your food to you. All of the employees I've encountered are very kind and seem happy and energetic! I know it's terrible but I've never veered from what I order here lol! I always get the chicken sandwich, no bun. It's delicious! The chicken is always cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I've had other tables stop to ask me what I ordered cause it looks so good! The unsweetened tea is always very good and never watered down. My son always gets the cheeseburger with fries and loves the free ice cream at the end! My husband gets the pork chops and really enjoys them! My mom has ordered the bison lettuce wraps and said they're very good too! I don't understand why it was placed in such an inconvenient place. The chicken fried steak is to die for along with the jalapeño gravy. The food is a little pricey butWe will be back! I will start with something that after reading other reviews seems to be a running theme.. with this name I expected a Italian dinning experience, what I got was something completely different. I honestly don't know how I would classify this restaurant. And I actually wouldnt call it a restaurant or even a dinner, it's more an eatery. It's set up with the new theme of restaurants where you order when you walk in and seat your self and get your own drinks and such. I'm not a fan of this style of restaurant and wouldn't have come had I known it was this style. They have burgers, tacos, queso, seafood and southern comfort foods. The first thing I don't like is they expect you to tip before you get service, let me state I worked in the restaurant industry and my tip was based on how I did as a server to insure you had a good dinning experience. I believe that a tip is earned not deserved. In my opinion this is way overpriced. The queso tastes like velveta and rotel, which I'm not hating on but if I wanted that I would eat it at home. It came out cold and the chips were extremely stale. I did love that they have a great selection of drinks from alcoholic to teas and sodas. My husband got a margarita and it was awesome. I got the chicken strips with jalapeño gravy, creamed corn and mashed potatoes. It was good but canes good and definitely over priced. My husband got a cheese burger and he said it reminded him of fudruckers. We came on Sunday at 11 when they opened and they were slammed busy. So busy that people who had placed their orders were having to stand and wait for a table inside because let's be real it's Texas and 90+ degrees out. ((This is a flaw in the seat your self after ordering style of dinning, you never know when your out of tables) The restroom has a changing table which is nice but I personally wouldn't use they type they had since it is a wooden one with a mattress pad and not very sanitary. the bottom shelves had dust and dead bugs on it. Also it's literally a few inches from the door stopper so if you are changing your baby there expect to get hit by the door. Most of the things I have mentioned have been simple "meh" things for my husband and I but the reason we won't be back is the manager. My husband and I sat and watched him eating fries at the end of the bar and licking his fingers and who knows if he washed his hands IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LUNCH RUSH. I get people get hungry, either eat before you open or eat in the back, don't eat ON THE FLOOR while your staff is busting their butts for you. We then watched him meander around changing the tv stations and then get a bowl of ice cream and start eating it! He never went to any tables to check on patrons and see how their meal was, he never helped run food, he didn't help with the bar. A good manager will make or break a Buisness hands down, this was a major fail for me. We spent $60 on what I would consider over priced fast food. I would much rather take my money down the road to Texas Roadhouse and get a true dinning experience. read more

I really enjoy eating at Mia's! I've had their Red Snapper tacos w/ mac and their Cheeseburger w/ fries and both were delicious. The servers are nice and helpful. My friend was served some mac n' cheese on the cool side and they brought her some fresh. Lots of good drink choices and complimentary vanilla soft serve ice cream is icing on the cake (waffle cones included) The interior is nicely decorated and the outdoor eating area has a welcoming feel as well.
