The outside space here is amazing. Plenty of room and corn hole boards to keep people busy as they wait for a table. There was live music on this Saturday night and it was decent. Inside bar does a good job of getting brews and snacks to those waiting. The food and service once we were seated was just ok. You could count the French fries included in the kids meal. Getting a refreshed drink or refill was a chore. Everyone had mediocre meals in our party. I would recommend going here for after work drinks or an appetizer, but not necessarily dinner.

We decided to try the Miamiville Trail yard for brunch. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. We could see bikers on the Loveland bike trail as they road by the restaurant. We were promptly seated. Although it listed hot tea on the menu, the server said it was not available. She suggested that I could have some of the tea just brewed for the ice tea. No thanks. My husband and I both ordered the traditional breakfast. My biscuit looked like it came out of a package and was cold. My husband's toast was barely toasted and cold. Eggs and bacon were unremarkable. The best part of the meal was the small fruit cup with fresh blueberries and strawberries. I didn't even take pictures because of the quality. The meal with tip was almost $40. Not worth it. We will come back at some time and try the lunch or dinner menu. Hopefully it will be better.

Came here for a late lunch on Saturday and I must say.. it was quite pack.. for a late lunch! lol.. Anywho.. I really like the vibe of this establishment. It was a bit too loud (live music) to bring my one and a half year old.. but that's a me problem, not a them problem ha! Anyway!! for lunch I ordered their crispy chicken sandwich and upgraded my side to their Caesar salad.. The sandwich was good, but would have loved a little more sauce but that's okay.. the Caesar salad was the star of the show.. IT WAS SO GOOD. Now I get it.. some folks are like.. it's just a Caesar salad.. whatever guys! I am huge fan of Caesar salad and theirs was really good! Nice chucks of parm cheese and it was VERY WELL coated with the dressing. I would come back here just for the salad haha. The service was fantastic! Our server was super kind and attentive especially with us having two little ones. She was kind and patient - checked in on, etc. Great staff! Lastly.. I LOVE the outdoor seating.. even though it was freezing outside we ventured out to check it out.. and it's such a chill vibe. I want to come back here in the spring and order their Caesar salad haha!

Great patio on a sunny day!

Fun place with an amazing patio and a solid beer selection. Fun and inviting for all ages. The beer cheese and pretzel were very tasty. A solid addition to this summer patio game. We will be back soon.

We went to Miamiville Trailyard for breakfast, which was pleasant enough, but it seems more like a place to sit outside and enjoy a beer. In fact, it has the vibe of a brewery, large garage doors that open up to give the inside an outside feel. It was too hot to eat outside but we walked through on our way out and it's really cute with fresh flowers, tables with umbrellas, and a fire pit. For breakfast, I ordered a traditional breakfast. My bacon didn't come out crispy like I asked, but I was impressed with the fresh fruit on the side was strawberries and blueberries, not unripe melon like most places seem to serve. My family also ordered the breakfast tacos and the avocado toast and both liked them as well. Our server did a good job bringing us refills or extra napkins when we asked for them. All in all, it was a decent breakfast but I'm really looking forward to hanging out on their patio when the weather cools off a bit.

    Tots for days... YUM!!

Then I thought okay it's mid week, lunch time, so I came in. I was limited on time, came in and ordered a pizza and a beer. Told the server she could serve it in the to go box since I had to go sooner than I would have liked. Service was friendly, prompt and she still checked on me after I had paid. Although the place was not busy, there was a large table with a baby and 2 pre schoolers. They were all well behaved, but still I'm always surprised that breweries are now for kids. I really liked the decor!

My husband was saying how much better it will be when we come back in the summer with the huge patio and all the garage doors open. I agreed, but I also think part of the reason we loved it so much was that even though it was a cold, gray February day, inside Parks and Rec had so much greenery and lots of windows so it felt summery inside! Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!! Then I got a 1/2 apple and pecan salad, which was more pecans, apples and dried cranberries than salad (and I mean that in the best way!) My husband let me try one of his chicken wings which had a nice spice to it. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great our whole experience was because the reviews were pretty mixed but honestly, it was a great visit from start to finish. Highly recommend!

If you haven't been to MPH Brewing in Montgomery, you're either stuck in traffic... or parked…read moresomewhere three blocks away wondering if this place is really worth the walk. Spoiler: it is. The only real complaint here is that the parking situation occasionally resembles a Black Friday doorbuster...,,except instead of discounted TVs, you're fighting for proximity to exceptional beer and people who actually seem glad you showed up. From the moment you walk in, you get hit with something rare these days: genuine, unscripted hospitality. Sierra, the general manager, runs the place with the kind of quiet authority that says, "Yes, we're in control....and yes, you're going to enjoy yourself." She's sharp, composed, and clearly the reason everything hums instead of hiccups. Then there's Maddie...her sister....who is essentially a human champagne cork. Every interaction pops, sparkles, and somehow gets more entertaining the longer you're around her. Watching Sierra and Maddie interact is like seeing discipline and delightful chaos shake hands and decide to run a brewery together. The result? A place that feels both dialed-in and alive. Caroline deserves her own headline. Not just pleasant...precision-level accommodating. The kind of service where you don't have to ask twice, and usually don't even have to ask once. She and Maddie made sure we were completely taken care of out on the porch, including getting a fire going when the temperature dipped into that sneaky "do I need a jacket or not?" zone. That's not service..,.that's anticipation. The food? Legitimately strong. The prosciutto and fig jam pizza hits that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and "why did we not order two of these?" Their salads don't feel like a punishment, and the sandwiches,,..let's just say people aren't exaggerating. You'll see tables guarding them like trade secrets. Now the beer....this is where MPH separates itself from the "nice patio, average product" crowd you find scattered along certain nearby river-adjacent zones. These beers don't just show up,,.they perform. Clean, well-crafted, and across a lineup that feels like a brewmaster who knows exactly what he's doing and isn't guessing. You could drop several of these into a national competition and they wouldn't just participate--they'd make noise. What stands out most is the environment. Relaxed without being lazy, energetic without being chaotic. If the weather cooperates, sitting outside is one of the most enjoyable, almost unfairly pleasant experiences you'll find in Montgomery. There's really nothing else like it in the immediate area, it's not trying to copy anything, and that's exactly why it works. Bottom line: MPH Brewing is what happens when ownership hires well, trains well, and then gets out of the way of good people doing good work. Just plan your parking strategy like you're invading Normandy--or bring comfortable shoes. Either way, you'll leave glad you made the effort.

We, of course, had to grab a brew and bite at Little Miami Brewing. As Wisconsinites, we take the opportunity to try a new brewery as second nature. We stopped in on one of the nicest days of the year so far, and going here just made sense. The doors and windows were open, the sun was shining, and people were everywhere. We ordered a few different beers to try. I love that they only sell their own brews on tap! We also got a pizza to share. We sat outside on their beautiful back patio, and it was perfect. The clear view of the river was gorgeous, and the day could not get better until I had the pizza. It was cheesy, warm, the crust was so tasty, and it was amazing. I have no idea how I have not been here sooner. Trust me when I say this place is a must!

Don't tip until the end. I've discovered that when I hand…read moreover a pre-game $10 cash tip before sitting down, magically the dirty tables get cleaned, the forks stop looking like they lost a bar fight, and the "30-45 minute estimated wait" doesn't turn into a semester abroad. Weird how that works. Especially in a mostly self-service setup where the "team experience" is supposedly what we're tipping for in the first place. Now, the place itself? Always a vibe. The ambiance is a consistent 10. Hanging flowers everywhere, riverfront energy, live music, sunshine, cold beer, people laughing like they don't have mortgages... it's basically Pinterest with an IPA tap list. The taco salad? Meh. The $14 "large" version looked like inflation personally assembled it. Nothing offensive, just forgettable. Cincinnati has better versions of that exact thing hiding in random strip malls next to vape stores and tax prep offices. Oddly enough, some of their other salads are actually much better. And salads at other Milford establishments rock...but it's not about the food. The Hawaiian pizza also came out looking like it attended the meeting but didn't contribute. Crust was underdone, chewy, and about as flavorful as a city council subcommittee. To be fair, I've had better pizzas here before, so maybe order it well done and pray over it briefly. But honestly? Nobody comes here because Anthony Bourdain's ghost whispered about the taco salad. You come for the atmosphere. The people. The flowers. The live music. The river. The one perfect cold beer from the homemade beer list that hits after a long day and briefly convinces you your life is organized. And in fairness... sometimes that's enough. and my wife loves this location.
