She insisted I come on down and see if my tire was repairable, even though I wouldn't get there until 5 o'clock. They stayed open a half hour late to get me all set up, and thoroughly answered all my questions. Extremely affordable prices and quality service. They even let me hang around and ask annoying questions and watch how they were patching my tire, as I love to learn new things given the opportunity. The mechanic and the desk staff were SUPER friendly, kind, good people. I'm visiting from 1000 miles away and I was so relieved to encounter such benevolent, genuinely helpful, happy people after being stuck in the pouring rain for an hour. Will not hesitate to visit them again next time my car needs anything. Katrina got us in at our 10am appointment and we were invited to have a seat and watch tv/make a coffee Upstairs waiting room. My God, what a nice waiting area.....super clean , stylish and just an enjoyable place to hang out for 30 minutes or longer. The bathroom was immaculate, you could eat lunch off the toilet lid if you so desired. Katrina, her nice doggy and her polite-friendly & professional crew are a nice bunch. The inside shop floor and work area is nice, bright, clean and organized. I've got maybe 30-40++ places in East Van where i live to go change/fix my tires (including mechanic shops). I chose to drive here to south burnaby 4 times now . A 19 minute drive. Nothingggggggg nearby within walking distance, boring semi industrial zone with nothing to do or see except a nearby park about 3 minutes in good weather. But i keep going back to Rudys because great service, friendly staff , good prices, friendly pooch. And of course, THe Rudy Tire Lounge & Coffee Bar upstairs that kinda makes you happy to wait and get your car serviced. ;)
