Excellent service, nice prices, and amazing location. Not only will you be amazed by how friendly and understanding the representatives are, but you'll also receive great servicing at decent speeds, and have the convenience of a shopping area right across the street waiting for you as you wait for your vehicle. They send you a text/call once your vehicle is ready, and the reps go through the checklist with you, and will answer any questions you have, no matter what your knowledge level is. read more

Kal Tire rocks. They do more than tires and are professional and honest. Stay away from Mr. Lube. They are the biggest crooks and liars in the business read more

This company tried to take advantage of my grandfather. He went in to get new tires installed on his car. They put his car on the lift, and gave him a bill for other "issues" needed to be fixed on his car. Tried to make him pay big dollars for things when he only wanted his wheels changed. He went to another mechanic and asked to do a check on his car, told my grandpa that it was "bs" what Kal tire tried to do. DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM KAL TIRE!! There are way better and more reliable car services out there read more

Manager Ali needs some remedial training in customer service. Don't take your car to Ali if you care about who works on your vehicle, especially if you have a European vehicle. read more

Took the car in to get the brakes checked and they were very professional and efficient. What the brakes needed was a service and a brake fluid flush. Would recommend this store to anyone. Plus since I had tires from them I they rotated them for free read more

Stopped in at this location because my tire was leaking air. Actually, I really wasn't sure. This location is conveniently located across from Park & Tillford. No appointment is required, they see walk-ins depending on how busy they are. Arthur was the one that helped me check in. He was professional and efficient. I told him what the problem and he said it would be looked at and give me a call. He said it would take approximately an hour and it did. In the back of the shop they are fully equipped to also do Winter Tire Changeover Flat Tire Repair, wheel alignment, brakes, steering and suspension, oil change, wiper blades and vehicle batteries. While we waited we went across to Park & Tillford while we waited. I finally got the call, my car is ready and yes it took approximately an hour. Jeff a technician explained what was wrong with my car and fixed it. He was very nice and helpful - and the value was excellent. I definitely will see them for my next oil change or any other car needs. Thanks guys! read more

I'm on vacation with the family driving a rental mini van. I noticed one of my tires was extremely low. Pain in butt. However, I needed to get it looked at. I found Kal Tire with a google search which is near our hotel. I showed up on their doorstep at 730am with no appointment. I explained the situation. They took my first name and phone number and said they'd give me a call once their technician had a look. I went across the street for a coffee while I waited. 20mins later my phone rang. Tire was punctured but it was all fixed and vehicle ready to go. I walked in prepared to pay whatever. No charge said the customer service rep. Huh? No charge to take out the nail, plug the hole and get me back out on the road within 30mins??? No charge. These guys made my day. I would heavily recommend this company. Thank you Kal Tire! read more

Each time I go to a Kal Tire I am impressed with their service. I took my truck for an alignment after a suspension lift and they had it done in less than an hour, calling me as soon as it was ready. the staff were excellent. it's one of those places where you walk in the door and someone greets you right away, no avoidance of eye contact and feeling ignored in there. My truck now has a perfectly straight steering wheel and we reviewed all the measurements showing that they are now within manufacturer recommended ranges, but I feel like it pulls a little left as Im driving. I called them about it and asked if they could take a look, and there was no defensiveness on their side only a courteous and helpful attitude and they offered to see it the very next morning. As I could not do so because of work they scheduled a time as soon as I was available with no question, to look at their work. It is possibly the leftward pull is due to something other than alignment, or maybe it's even my imagination, however I never felt belittled or like Kal Tire wasn't willing to review their work and promptly correct any possible short comings. Thanks and keep up the great work, see you monday. read more

Thought I would tackle the empty roads on the sea to sky hwy. it wasn't meant to be, as soon as I took the exit after the horseshoe Bay ferry terminal - I must've hit a pothole. Instant flat and plans cancelled. Tire was blown and I had taken out the spare last year to get replaced. This kal tire location actually had my tire. I decided to replace both front tires and made my way home. The front desk staff member was very knowledgeable read more

Had a tire patched here, cost 40 dollars. Service was decent enough not sure I will be back though.

Service was good, but definitely book an appointment. Kudos to Robert at the front desk - pleasant guy who has the unenviable job of trying to schedule everyone in and often gets screamed at by irate people who don't plan ahead and expect the calendar to magically free up to get their car in. read more

I came in for a tire alignment. After 30 minutes, they brought my car back and said they didn't complete the work. The technicians then proceeded to tell me that there were basic problems with my car. Being a car guy, I told them there was nothing impeding them from doing the alignment and informed them that the part they were referencing was fixed 2 months ago. The technician said "okay" handed my key back. Completely unprofessional and sharing false information with customers. A complete waste of my time on the technicians part. read more

Extraordinary service. I was in a jam; flat tire, wheel off car, had to catch ferry. A competitor told me it would be a week before my flat would be fixed. At Kal I was told it would be done by days end. Unfortunately I did have to catch the ferry but thanked the manager for his efforts. He then told me he would fix it himself and the job would be done in half an hour. 20 minutes later I was on my way. I had to prevail upon the manager to accept a tip. read more

We had an appointment booked. We arrived on time. There was just one guy there dealing with one other customer. We were not acknowledged whatsoever. We waited for ten minutes to finally be acknowledged. While waiting, a simple smile and "hello" would help...or "be with you in just a minute". We left the shop while our new tires were being put on our car and went to the nearby Whitespot. We had to phone the shop to make a simple adjustment on the work being done. We were then put on hold for 15 minutes. It was just a simple request. This speaks volumes about lack of customer service. Thankfully the crappy service was somewhat overcome when we returned and paid our bill with a guy named Ali. He was super friendly and super helpful. The Kal Tire at this location should pay Ali a little extra wage to train other staff on some of the basic etiquette involved in customer service. read more

We started going to Kal Tire a couple of times a year to switch out our winter tires. The service was good, and the hours so convenient, that we now go to them for most of our repairs and maintenance too. We have had to wait past our scheduled appointment time on a few occasions, but it hasn't been big a deal. This past weekend we got a flat tire. My husband scheduled an appointment for 5pm today and had to wait because the mechanics were running behind. When it came time to pay the bill he wasn't charged a penny! As a small business owner myself I know that sometimes things come up that can throw off your day. What's most important is that you acknowledge the inconvenience to the customer, leave them with a positive experience and let them know you appreciate their business. Thanks Kal Tire, we'll be back. read more

Brought in my CRV on a Saturday morning to get a screw removed from the tire as it was losing air. Kyle got us in immediately and we were able to go off and do some other things while the repair was made. When we came back to pick up the car, we dealt with Kyle again. He processed the paperwork efficiently and we were on our way. We've dealt with this location of KAL TIRE before and it's always been a positive experience. A great BC Company! read more

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!! They are liars and thieves. They tried to tell me I needed to replace all the work that I had done to my car 1 month prior and wanted to charge me $1000 to do the work. I took their report to a REAL mechanic (Not the one who did the work originally) for second opinion and he assured us the work was done properly and they were trying to steal money from us. They will be reported to the BBB. read more

This place is fantastic. I took my very old, very beaten car to Kal Tire many times and they always treated me and my car with the utmost respect. Once, it needed a new catalytic converter because it hadn't passed AirCare. They not only replaced the part, they took it back to AirCare for me to make sure it passed! When I had to drop the car off for some time, they gave me a ride home and picked me up again later when the car was ready. Kal Tire is a BC business that is getting it right - support them! read more

Dropped off my truck with a bolt lodged in the tire......not too happy!! Heard that Kal was 1 of the better places to go. Not Wrong! So no appointment and a pretty lengthy wait.......they were busy, but the 1 day + made it 4 stars not 5. But John and Blake were great. In fact hats off to all the guys there......service actually means something to the Kal guys. Something a lot of other companies could try to emulate. Oh the cost....... ZIP! Use them again.....no doubt.......recommend them......every time! Glad there are still a few places that give a Sh:t about the customer. Nice 1 :-) read more

I recommend Kal for tires for sure. Ali and Blake were great from start to finish. They were busy but made time for not one but two car tire installs for us to allow me to get snows for my daughter while she was in town over thanksgiving. They adjusted their price to be competitive with another quote I had. They even took the car and ran it around the block and retorqued the wheels as she had to drive back to the interior the next day and would not be able to get the retorque in prior to having to leave. Above and beyond the call of duty! Thanks gents. read more

Great service. I had a slow leak. Kal tire fixed it, no charge. Considering I hadn't purchased the tires for them (new car) I was impressed with the extra mile service. read more

Wanted to get my lug nuts loosened and also wanted locking lug nuts on. Phoned in and they said swing by and before I knew it, they already did it free of charge with a smile! Been here before and they provide friendly service. Can get busy there during peak seasons and times though. read more

What an awesome place!!!!! Today I called the Brooksbank branch at 8 am because I urgently needed some pros to look at my left rear tire, as I suspected it being punctured and nothing frightens me quite as much as the air going out completely while driving!! I got an appointment for 10:30 am right away. ( imaginary sweat dripping from brow - that was lucky). I also asked them to check the spare tire, as that one was rather flat too. 45 min later they pulled out 2 nails from the rear tire, patched it up and fixed a hole on the spare. I was also told that my truck was in a good condition (which is true, just had some work done there). Which means they did check if everything else was fine. When I got the bill I was speechless. NOTHING. FREE. The invoice stated $ 0 charge. Will I consider them in the future??? Hell yeah. Beside that I was impressed with the service, really friendly guys, super professional and a very clean looking garage. Thank you Kal Tire!!!! read more

This location is pretty busy. I popped in on a Saturday at 1:30pm and it was hopping in there. I'm a walking stereotype when it comes to cars (blonde, ignorant, young) and when my tire had a slow leak, I rolled in there thinking I'd get an appointment right away but I couldn't leave my car for the day so I booked first thing Monday (8:30am) and they promised to have me out of there in 30 minutes. I got there on Monday morning, they took my car right away and, as promised, it was ready in 30 minutes. There was a screw in my tire but they fixed it. The best part? They didn't charge me! I couldn't believe it! I would have gone to them anyway for new tires but now I know these guys are awesome. Very friendly, approachable staff and didn't make me feel like a moron (even though I probably am). Thanks Kal Tire! read more

My family (4 cars) has been going here for a few years. Service has gotten worse each year. I now understand why they always have unhappy customers yelling at the people working there. They charge unnecessarily and don't complete what they say they will. MUCH better car shops for tires, etc on the north shore. Highly disappointed. read more

The service isn't up to standards like before. Kinda thinking of going somewhere else. I wonder if their bending over backwards to cover walk ins and being so accommodating is spreading their service a little thin. read more
