It was not the cleanest but it was lunch rush. The salsa was pretty good. I ordered a burrito and it came so smothered in red enchilada sauce it was spilling off the plate. My family has enjoyed Mi Ranchito for many years. However the Valpak has not been including a coupon for espinaca during the last 2 years. I do not feel the small portion of watered down espinaca is worth the charged $5.99. The coupon Valpak continues to have a coupon to Jose Peppers and Cactus Grill, so we will be trying those locations for a bit. read more

Went to this restaurant for a quick dinner before a movie. It's very spacious and did not have to wait for long even though it was a friday night. Like every restaurant, they gave hot nachos with salsa. We ordered their mexican pizza and order of mexican rice. Pizza tasted wonderful and it was not too oily. Their mexican rice was amazing and super yummy. Staff were very cordial and the service was excellent. Price was actually very low for how it tasted. Had a great dining experience ! read more

Ask for the hot salsa with your chips!!! It's perfectly spiced and goes great with their tacos. Taco Tuesdays include $2 hard or soft shell tacos--you can choose between chicken or beef. So would like to say I am very disappointed with this restaurant. First I had decided that I did not like where we were seated so I asked for another booth. The food is good, the meals were excellent, and I had so much I got two delicious meals for the price of one!!! The margaritas are HUGE, strong, and delicious! We go here if we want Mexican but don't feel like tacos from Unforked and don't feel like driving to the Plaza for Tocalo. But you know... it's classic Tex Mex. - lots of cheese and grease! The last 5 or 6 times I've been there I've noticed how dirty it is; filthy windows and blinds next to booths, booths not cleaned properly, the floor doesn't look clean in areas. It's kind of loud, especially when it is packed, but we got service immediately and consistently throughout our meal. The manager/owner was a little lingering to a point of being a bit uncomfortable, but at least he shows pride in what he does and displays that in his attention to the customers. I didn't know what to try, so decided to a combo (#5, I think) that had a tostada, cheese enchilada and a Machaca Beef chimichanga. Well, you can keep the rest, and give me more of that chimichanga! The beef was so tender and flavorful, I could eat a mountain of it. Mom had shrimp and steak of some arrangement, it was not impressive. I can't believe I've never reviewed this location. It is my absolute favorite. I have ordered many a company lunches here for over a 100 people. They have never gotten it wrong. I come here for lunch often. In fact they know me by name. No matter what order they're always very happy to make changes if I wish. They always keep the salsa and the drinks full. The restaurant filled quickly though and with it being cold, everyone waiting for tables was stuffed in the little lobby. We had a nice meal for two for $42 including tax not tip. They give you free chips and salsa but we also ordered the cheesy espinasa dip and two blended margaritas. My sister had the steak fajitas. The food wasn't that great, barely had any salsa on my plate and my husbands steak was hard. She never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. As we sat there we noticed the manager yelling out to the bartender asking where his pina colada was that the client who was waiting on it threatened to leave. The bartender yelled back and said I told you it was right there. Picking up to go orders is always a mess. we made 2 trips tonight because 1 meals was missing and our sons cheese dip was missing. The young boy who answered the phone said it was his fault for not putting our name on both bags. So your just supposed to take all the bags for all the to go orders???? But I guess this explains the many other complaints about people not getting their while order. The manager did refund the order for the missing meal. I have had many Pina coladas in my life and every time I am drunk after one of them. I came to this place and had a pitcher of Pina Colada for 36 dollars and I drank it by myself.
