Customer service is terrible. I met some friends here for lunch. Each of us ordered a lunch meal. We had to wait several minutes and had to ask for our waitress to come back so we could order. There was someone else filling our glasses who wasn't our waitress (which was unusual). She was super nice. Never once when our meals came out did our waitress or anyone ask if everything was ok. The only contact we had with our waitress after we received our food was for us to pay. We had finished and paid (tickets brought out before we were done). After we were done we were chatting and catching up. The waitress came over and asked us to leave because people were waiting to be seated (this was almost 130pm on a Saturday). We got up to leave and as we left, there was as no one waiting to be seated. Not inside or outside. Considering there are other locations or places to eat, I will not be back. read more

Ask for the hot salsa with your chips!!! It's perfectly spiced and goes great with their tacos. Taco Tuesdays include $2 hard or soft shell tacos--you can choose between chicken or beef. It was not the cleanest but it was lunch rush. The salsa was pretty good. I ordered a burrito and it came so smothered in red enchilada sauce it was spilling off the plate. My rice was covered my beans were covered. I don't like red enchilada sauce. The steak in the burrito was rubbery. Flan was good. Probably won't go back. read more

Went to this restaurant for a quick dinner before a movie. It's very spacious and did not have to wait for long even though it was a friday night. Like every restaurant, they gave hot nachos with salsa. We ordered their mexican pizza and order of mexican rice. Pizza tasted wonderful and it was not too oily. Their mexican rice was amazing and super yummy. Staff were very cordial and the service was excellent. Price was actually very low for how it tasted. Had a great dining experience ! read more

I do not feel the small portion of watered down espinaca is worth the charged $5.99. So would like to say I am very disappointed with this restaurant. First I had decided that I did not like where we were seated so I asked for another booth. Their response seemed cold and we had to accommodate ourselves with our glasses of water which I also would like to add that I had to ask for something other than water. I wish I could remember my waitress's name, I've had her both times I've been here, and she's been fabulous!!! The food is good, the meals were excellent, and I had so much I got two delicious meals for the price of one!!! The margaritas are HUGE, strong, and delicious! Both the house, and skinny leave you craving more!! Parking is a little tricky, at least the first time. They have parking in the front (119th facing) and a door, and a large parking lot in the back, and another door and little bar! OMG, We went to this place for Cinco De Mayo and boy was it yummy. The salsa was to die for (very flavorful). The last 5 or 6 times I've been there I've noticed how dirty it is; filthy windows and blinds next to booths, booths not cleaned properly, the floor doesn't look clean in areas. Listen closely: MACHACA BEEF. Oh my goodness it is SO YUMMY. This place was CROWDED on a recent rainy Saturday night about 9 pm, but they got us in at a table by the kitchen. It's kind of loud, especially when it is packed, but we got service immediately and consistently throughout our meal. The manager/owner was a little lingering to a point of being a bit uncomfortable, but at least he shows pride in what he does and displays that in his attention to the customers. I didn't know what to try, so decided to a combo (#5, I think) that had a tostada, cheese enchilada and a Machaca Beef chimichanga. Well, you can keep the rest, and give me more of that chimichanga! I can't believe I've never reviewed this location. It is my absolute favorite. I have ordered many a company lunches here for over a 100 people. They have never gotten it wrong. I come here for lunch often. In fact they know me by name. No matter what order they're always very happy to make changes if I wish. They always keep the salsa and the drinks full. The restaurant filled quickly though and with it being cold, everyone waiting for tables was stuffed in the little lobby. We had a nice meal for two for $42 including tax not tip. They give you free chips and salsa but we also ordered the cheesy espinasa dip and two blended margaritas. My sister had the steak fajitas. We've been to the other Mi Ranchito locations but this was our first time here. Our waitress did not smile and she didn't know the menu. The food wasn't that great, barely had any salsa on my plate and my husbands steak was hard. She never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. As we sat there we noticed the manager yelling out to the bartender asking where his pina colada was that the client who was waiting on it threatened to leave. The bartender yelled back and said I told you it was right there.
