I enjoyed the great service, delicious food, new dining area and reasonable prices during my dine-in lunch visit. The "lunch dos" included a burrito, refried beans and rice for $7.59. It was served just eight minutes after I ordered at the table, which gave me time to make a dent in the complimentary chips and mild salsa. The burrito was packed full of moist, shredded, tasty, marinated chicken without any fillers like rice or beans - nice! The rice and refried beans were both pretty good, with good portions. The dining area was nice and new with big screen TVs in the corners and Mexican background music (not too loud). I also noticed a bar area. I found the service to be cheerful and attentive. I wish they had hot sauces available at the tables to take things up a notch or two. Overall, very nice!

Came here for dinner while visiting. I entered the restaurant and stood at the front for 7 mins before I was approached and greeted. I was finally seated and served a drink. I ordered a chili relleno, a bean tostada and a cheese enchilada. The enchilada was drenched in a not so good red sauce, the tostada didn't taste fresh, and the chili relleno was ok. Overall, not the greatest service and just ok Mexican food.

It would be 5/5 for food quality alone but the service is very slow. Seems like maybe they are understaffed. It was worth the wait though because the food was really good. We've been trying all the Mexican restaurants in Olathe and this may be our new favorite. The chips, white cheese, and salsa were good! The chips were thin and crispy which I love. I also ordered some of the hot salsa and it was definitely spicy! It had a decent amount of cilantro. I actually had to mix some with the regular salsa though because of the spice level. I'd definitely still get it though. The house margaritas were also good! Especially for this area. I kept getting watered down margaritas at other places that barely tasted like lime. These definitely had fresh lime juice in them. I got the Enchiladas Rancheras with green sauce instead of red. The pork on top was very flavorful! The rice was okay but probably my least favorite thing we tried. I rarely eat all my rice anyway so that's not really that big of a deal for me and it wasn't bad. My boyfriend got the pork chimichanga and it was actually CRISPY! I've been struggling to find a place where the chimichanga wasn't soggy. I'm definitely getting it next time. His refried beans were good too.

Fast friendly service. Great food. I ordered the tamale and rice - so good! Visiting from out of town. Mom always talks about this place. Came for lunch. She's right - it's really good.

So far, they just reopened on Sunday in their new location! Super excited for this reopening! Yes, they just REOPENED. YES, they are severely understaffed at the moment. YES, it's worth the wait! The menu has not changed and the food is still great! When they get all the wait staff needed to work this humongous space that they have acquired it's going to be EPIC! 10/10 WILL RETURN!

I had stopped at the Motel 6 in Olathe Kansas for the night and right next door was the Chapala Mexican restaurant. The woman at the desk said they had gotten good reviews from other people who stayed at the motel so I decided I would give it a try. I am from Tucson Arizona, so I am used to some really good Mexican food. I have to say this stands up to any place I have ever been. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and the convenience to my hotel was perfect.

This place is fantastic. So happy to see them back open and in a new location. Great food and great service. Good Job Chapala

If I could give zero star I would , ordered special chapala but we got burnt food for 21 dollars itself without the rest of the order , used to be our favorite restaurant but this would be our last time we will never come back / our waiter Cheys was so nice and we did tell them that the food was burnt they said that's how it suppose to be and they will not remake it / burrito Gigante with 3 mini chicken pieces and a lot of rice/ burrito real with pizza sauce on top total of 70$ and food was not great at all Unfortunately thr will be no next time

Chile relleno and cheese enchilada - SO good!

The rum made it sweeter and the cinnamon stick was a nice touch. The menu offers several old fashioned and martini options. They also offer some lite bar bites for snacking. Saw lots of couples - maybe this a the local date night spot?? Popped in on a Saturday evening. No reservation needed. Started with the garlic bread and chicken samosas. Both were delish. The samosas were stuffed full of chicken. The green sauce was tasty too. Lots of seafood, chicken, beef and pork entrees. I was not familiar with some of the fish entrees. It's a big menu and almost all of it is in Spanish. So I went with what Genevieve our server recommended. The chicken breast with onions and peppers. It's sounds plain but it was full of flavor and served with black beans and rice. I substituted plantains for tostones. The tostones were meh. My dinner companion ordered the chimichurri steak. It also came with black beans, white rice and plantains. She said it was delicious. They also serve paella - which I really wanted to try but they entree is for 2 or more. Some of the fish items are kinda spendy. But the other meat items are in the $20 or less range. In addition to soda and lemonade, they serve margaritas and beer. I ordered a skinny margarita and it tasted watered down. So next time I'll ask for no ice. For dessert we tried the churros. Not bad. The service was great. I'll definitely come back to try some of the seafood entrees.

I've heard about this place, but I avoided it until recently, opting for either Omaha Cigar or Safari, both great Omaha establishments. I was content to smoke on my back patio by myself, but a good friend asked me to join him and I agreed. First off, it's a cool building with a lot of history. It used to be a garage, probably built in the 1910's or 20's, so very rustic. The owners put a lot of thought into it, from the specially made leather chairs, some huge, some diminutive so you don't have to feel like you're in one of those chairs at Silver Dollar City that everybody gets their picture taken in, to the special glass, HVAC, Humidor, etc... you can tell this was a labor of love. Secondly, the service is excellent! From the tobacco experts that will guide you through the humidor to the people who work in the 2 attached establishments. There is a speakeasy next-door, just pick up the phone at the front door, say "Joe sent me" and you are allowed into one of the finest drinking establishments in the 5 county metro, replete with all of your favorite beers and craft cocktails that are out of this world! Then, you have the Bellows, an outdoor, intimate music venue that sports 2 firepits, a stage, heaters for those cold nights, and plenty of seating. I was lucky enough to find out about an event that they were having with Toscano Cigars, where for a paltry sum we were treated to the history of that company, a package of cigars, cutters, lighters, and some great Italian food. Then we watched the full length version of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. It was an event to remember. After my 3rd visit, I realized that this is a family. People from all walks of life are regulars and they're all friendly. I think that their motto should be "Where everybody knows your brand
