The food portions are acceptable for the price. The desert was to die for. We thought the tostadas, tortas, and large tacos didn't have the flavor we wanted. It was about 10am on a Saturday and there was 1 other customer so it was nice and quiet with no wait! I ordered the "meat lovers burrito" and my son is not huge breakfast fan so he ordered a quesadilla sub birria meat (not on the menu) for like 70 cents more (ridiculously reasonable for this day and age). I had to try a bite because it sounded delicious and it absolutely was! 100% recommended! As for my burrito.... It was a monster! Easily 1.5-2lbs of deliciousness! I've been waiting for this location to open for a long time! They still have some things to finish up. But at least they are open. TV menus still have the stickers on them, random boxes around and there is a lot of dead space behind the front counter, but I imagine after a week this place will be polished up. The salsa bar isn't complete, but what is a available has great flavor and spice. Prompt service and my breakfast burrito came out fast and hot. Only have one issue...a person I have encountered several times at the front counter that I don't like dealing with; but she is young and hopefully her customer skills will get better. This food here is just great as the Mexican restaurants my husband and I loved in Central California. We have been numerous times by friends and acquaintances what Mexican food places to try. All were not great. My husband happened to drive by while doing errands and decided to stop by. When I came home from work, he told me he got dinner from a new place he discovered. Honestly, I frowned and said, "I guess I will try it". He bought me a tostado and crispy tacos. After one bite of the tostado, I screamed "this is it! Finally, a place that is a good back home!" Food is GREAT. Sauces are on the thin side, but they offer 5 options. Wish they offered complimentary chips with their meals, but you can purchase chips and a bit of a thicker salsa for a reasonable price. The general menu is a bit pricey, but Taco Tuesday is a wonderful deal. Service is a bit sketchy and I've had to return to the counter on each of my last 3 visits to remind them about my order. Even on a slow weekday mid-afternoon they seem to not be able to track orders and serve/deliver in a timely fashion. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but sometimes the music is a bit loud. May have to give their drive-thru a shot, I think that gets prioritized over the counter walk in customers. I was surprised to see the size of the burrito - large portioning to say the least. The combination of chorizo, egg, cheese, beans, and rice was perfect and honestly authentic. We couldn't wait for them to open and man we were not disappointed! We tried their chorizo breakfast burrito AHHMAZING! They don't load the entire thing with potato's which is a plus! There's actual meat in there! The salsa verde is so delicious! We've also tried the deep fried tacos, Al pastor tacos, super fries, and quesadillas and everything was awesome. Not one complaint.
