This new food truck is currently located in front of a restaurant that is being remodeled to soon carry the Tacos El Viejon name. They offer tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas and mulitas (with nine different protein options) and a variety of bottled beverages. They do not offer sides like rice or beans. My two pastor (pork) and two pollo (chicken) street tacos ($2 each) were served to go eight minutes after I ordered at the food truck window, where the service was just accommodative. The authentic street tacos were nicely packaged for transport, with warm meat and tortillas packaged separately from the chilled toppings. I also received three salsas with various heat levels - mild, medium and a red sauce with a lot of heat. I liked the generous amount of meat, which was tasty and nicely diced - not too big and not too small - on fresh, warm, 4" double layer tortillas with a good quantity of fresh toppings. I wish they would post prices, and the 4% surcharge for credit cards seems antiquated, but overall, this was a very very good, reasonably priced lunch experience.

Overcharged us and messed up our order, plus the food is mediocre at best. Tortillas were so dry and the meat was bland.

I can get 2 meals out of it. It's stuffed with steak, shrimp, and other veggies and such. I try to get something else but then I always can't resist getting it! I am going to have to force myself to explore the menu more. I have done Taco Tuesday and gotten several tacos. There's many options. I'm usually attracted to the street taco style but I have also gotten the gringo style and it is very good too! I love the birria and pastor. I got chicken and added black beans, yummy! You can't go wrong and they are $1 off each on Tuesday. I need to do Burrito Monday!! Everyone is always very nice when I pick up my order. I use the app and it's so easy! The restaurant is always clean either plenty of seats. They have some cool merch too! I need a tshirt and cap! I'm a big fan of Tiki Taco which o discovered thanks to Yelp!

The old bowls were large and wide, with plenty of room for all of the ingredients. The new bowl is so small and deep that it honestly felt like I was eating my meal out of a cup. It wasn't satisfying at all. Everything was crammed together and mixed up, and it actually changed the entire taste and experience of the meal. Part of what made these bowls so good was being able to taste the different ingredients and combine them how you wanted. In this container, everything just became one big mixture. I could barely even find the shrimp I paid extra for. I also ordered extra rice, and there is absolutely no way what I received felt like an extra portion. I normally cannot come close to finishing one of these bowls in one sitting. I can eat quite a bit and you can barely tell I've touched it. Today, I ate the entire thing in one sitting, which says a lot about how much the portion has changed. I understand restaurants sometimes have to make changes, but serving the same meal in a significantly smaller container while customers are still paying the same price--and paying additional charges for extras--is incredibly disappointing. I have pictures of my previous bowls compared with the one I received today, and the difference is obvious. I really hope Tiki Taco reconsiders this change. I used to look forward to these bowls, but eating out of what feels like a cup is just not the same meal or experience. For the price, this was extremely disappointing and definitely not what I've come to expect from Tiki Taco.

Inside, the space is airy and vibrant with great acoustics and a chill little bar area that sets the perfect casual vibe. We started strong with the drinks. My friend went with the house margarita while I opted for the spicy pineapple jalapeño. Both were so incredibly good that skipping a second round wasn't even an option--we doubled up! Our server was wonderfully patient and attentive, gracefully making a few extra trips to our table while we hopelessly debated what to order. I finally settled on the Pollo Relleno, which came loaded with Mexican rice, refried beans, and a taco. My friend grabbed the tres crispy tacos paired with charro beans. When the plates arrived, the presentation was a little messy--but what it lacked in looks, it more than made up for in flavor. Excellent drinks, solid comfort food, and great service. We'll definitely be back!

First, immediate bonus points for giving everyone their own salsa dish. No rationing salsa at this table! Although, the spicy salsa will cost you an extra $1.99. We tried Los Tres Tacos with two beef and one chicken, the quesabirria, and the Periban Avocado. Everything was very good. The flavors weren't quite as bold and in-your-face as I usually like my Mexican food, but it was consistently solid across the board. The charro beans and refried beans were especially delicious. My biggest complaint? Everything came out just barely warm. Not cold, but definitely not hot, and I think that made a BIG difference. Had everything arrived piping hot, this meal could have gone from "very good" to "exceptional." Overall, good food, cute spot, individual salsa bowls, and plenty worth coming back for. Next time, just bring the heat... literally.

We had one chicken empanada, one chicken taco, two pastor tacos, two carnitas, one barbacoa, and chips with guacamole. The guacamole is amazing and we will return solely for this single, tasty offering. The tacos are authentically mexican; just simple, bland, yummy goodness It's just hard to describe how something that doesn't have a lot of flavor can be so good and we aren't hot sauce people so that wasn't even touched. The service was okay, friendly enough but nothing over the top. Someone mentioned in a review that it isn't the restaurants fault that the landlord won't fix the ceiling but I find issue in that even the vents are disgusting. If it were my restaurant I would do everything in my power to make it look nice and clean enough for people to want to return a million times over. Like I said, we will probably be back but it cannot go without mentioning.
