Really good cinnamon roll French toast, spicy and delicious bloody Mary, and the bacon was crisp. Decor is interesting and the bottomless mimosa seems like a good deal but I didn't try it. They had a Xmas tree up still but decorated for spring I guess or summer? The Nutella crepe was epic as well. Fresh squeezed orange juice too was amazing. Food came out quickly and was all delicious.

Came by on a weekend morning. There was not many people waiting, but they were short staffed, so did have to wait a while. Food was worth it though. Had the Machaca and menudo. Both delicious. Friendly service. Home made corn tortillas, yum.

Shoutout to my friend and fellow Yelper Eri G. For making a great breakfast recommendation. I was craving some authentic Mexican food, especially breakfast items and she said we had to come here. I always listen to her because she is spot on and this place was truly delicious. Located off Vineyard it's fairly easy to get to and it's right off of the freeway. I liked that they had their own private parking lot, makes dining here easy and safe. The restaurant itself is darling. It's actually pretty large inside and can fit a good amount of people. They had plenty of options for sitting, booths and tables and on a Saturday morning it wasn't very busy but it did pickup. The interior is clean and they have nice artwork and decor. I loved the stained glass windows that face the main dining area. Service was easily 5 stars. Our waitresses name was Norma and she was so sweet. She had a great personality and made us feel super welcomed. She was on top of things and gave us great service from start to finish. I also appreciated that she answered our questions about the menu and gave good suggestions. I'd come back again just to eat at Normas table! The food is another 5 stars, everything I had was delish. The menu here is big with lots of breakfast and lunch options. I opted for the pork verde chilaquiles. This came with an over medium egg and beans. The dish was fantastic and easy 5 stars. The eggs were cooked exactly as I asked and the refried beans had great flavor. The portion of the chilaquiles was massive, super generous for the price. What I also liked was that the pork verde sauce was flavorful and had massive amount of cooked pork. Sometimes when they say their sauces have pork some places just use small shreds but here the pork was very generous and super tender - cooked perfectly. My friend ordered a crepes breakfast combo plate and it looked tasty to me. Also fun that they have a nice small alcohol selection here for those of you who like a boozy brunch. Beers and wines. Also bloody Mary's and my personal favorite, their micheladas. Presentation was great and the drink was cold and refreshing. If you're looking for a family run breakfast and lunch spot with Mexican American fusion you must definitely check out this spot as it was really good and nice people work here!

I had never been here for breakfast ! Glad I finally made it! I was tempted to get the menudo they sell Saturdays and Sundays but I had a date with the gym right after. I opted for the crepe combo . It was ok but my friend's chilaquiles verdes looked muchoooo better . I was jealous! I just wanted a lighter breakfast but wished I would have had something like her plate . Haha ! Norma .. our waitress was wonderful! Attentive, friendly and sweet . We got there at 8:30am so it wasn't that busy . People started arriving around 9am . Plenty of parking out back. Clean place! Come support . So much seating indoors or outdoors. Big menu with options for the entire fam or the pickiest of friends.

Massive cinnamon rolls on the coffee counter 5-5-24

It's Cinco de Mayo today but I don't need an excuse to eat Mexican food. It is my favorite! It was getting close to dinner time and I just wanted to place an order to go. When I walked up to the counter, a man helped me right away. He handed me a menu so I could look it over and then in a few minutes I was ready to place my order with the cashier. She was also very helpful and friendly. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. I ordered a Wet Chile Verde Burrito. They also gave me chips, salsa and pico de gallo. The burrito was quite large yet I had no problem finishing it all. The salsa has got to be one of my favorites I have tried out of the 2 Mexican restaurants I have tried since moving here. It was thin yet had some chunks of tomato, cilantro and I think orange bell pepper?. I could be wrong about the bell pepper. They could be pickled peppers for all I know. But everything was tasty and seasoned well. The burrito had rice and beans in it but there definitely was more pork in it than the rice and beans which I prefer. I don't care for places that use rice and beans as the main filler. This place doesn't do that.

This place is soooo good. Please come here and if you're getting brunch the chile verde huevos rancheros are *chefs kiss* my boyfriend orders the big breakfast and he loves it. Bottomless champagne for $20 and service is AMAZING. Staff is so kind and helpful. Just come here and you will not regret it!

We stopped by on a weekend and were so pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly. Our meals were really good too my only "complaint" was that the horchata wasn't very good and were accidentally charged for 2 instead of 1. I would still come back again because it was that good!

This is a very family friendly breakfast restaurant. It was my first time here because we were looking for a place who had chilaquiles. They have lots of parking space available and inside so many tables. We came in around 1pm and it was busy but still we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and seated right away. They only have tables so not booths are available but they offer so many options from french toast to classic mexican plates. We started off with the asada nachos and they were very delicious. My red chilaquiles were also very delicious. I just would have liked more sour cream on them but they were still good. Everyone was very attentive and very friendly as well. They also offer lots of drinks so family or friends this is the perfect place to enjoy it all together! This a great spot in Oxnard!

They are located on Vineyard Ave & closest intersection is North Oxnard Blvd, in between Chevron & El Pollo Loco. If driving from Oxnard Blvd, you would have to turn on Vineyard & make a U-Turn to get here. Plenty of parking in their lot behind the restaurant. Walked in on a Monday morning & didn't wait too long to get seated. Good amount of patrons having breakfast & a good amount of indoor seating... Latinx vibes felt here with Authentic music playing in the background. They have a cute little bar in the back too. They serve Traditional Mexican Breakfast like Chile Verde, Chilaquiles, Machaca & more. They also have American Classics such as Omelettes, Waffles, Pancakes & more. For lunch & dinner they offer: Appetizers, Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers & Dessert. I wanted something light & simple, so I went with the Light Breakfast. It came with: 2 eggs whites, 2 turkey bacon, wheat toast & fresh fruit. I didn't realize my breakfast was supposed to come w/ toast, until I got home & glanced at the menu while I was looking at my pictures. Oh well, no biggie. I still enjoyed my food. My +1 ordered the Special they had that day which was a Bacon, Cheese, Avocado Omelette & chose home potatoes for the side. He definitely inhaled his plate, with a small serving leftover for me to take home & try the next day. Man those potatoes were good! Lots of flavor, had some bell peppers & onion pieces in it. Overall, we enjoyed our Breakfast! I would definitely come back to try the Traditional Mexican Dishes. Our server today was Monze. I tried Mi Pueblo cafe recently - and it was absolutely delicious! First of all, I ordered asada, carnitas, and chicken taco. The asada and carnitas tacos were good, but the chicken taco was excellent. It was juicy and well seasoned. I'd say all I left were the scraps behind, but even I made sure to scrape off any leftovers from my plate to make sure it made it directly into my belly! I also tried the trio fajitas combo, which came out piping hot - and was scrumptious. Every piece on the fajita plate came together to create a delicious mixture of tangy and moist. The tortillas were also soft and appetizing. Our server was Johan, who was helpful, friendly, and fast in serving us. I felt like all the servers/staff we encountered were very knowledgable and kind - and we didn't find out until we were leaving that we were cutting it close to their closing hours. However, they still provided us excellent service, and I didn't feel rushed or feel an aura of impatience in them waiting for us to leave. I am eager to try their brunch here in the future as it seems like that is also very popular and looks like it has mouthwatering food and reasonable prices. I am eager to go back and try this place again in the future for any meal due to its delectable food and amazing service! Thanks Mi Pueblo Cafe!

We have been here two times now for Sunday brunch. Expect a wait if you go prime time. The chilaquiles are delicious. Both the Rojo and Verde. The bottomless mimosas were great. They left the bottle at the table for my husband which was perfect for him. Service is always friendly. The food did take a very long time to come out and everything was coming out one at a time. Maybe this was due to a big party. The live music was a nice touch. On our next visit I definitely want one of those delicious looking Cinnamon rolls!

I had chicken fajita omelette with house potatoes. Missing seasoning but it was ok. Gf had caldo de res, the flavor was good but the veggies were hard. She had to wait 20 Minutes to get cooked veggies and by then soup was cold and meat was gone. They don't have chips and salsa which was a first for a Mexican restaurant. Wish I didn't have to even leave 1 star cause they don't deserve one at all . I payed almost $17 for what I thought was a carne Asada burrito got all the way home just to discover that it was a bean and rice burrito. Got up took it back no apology instead three of them are in the kitchen staring at me. Didn't come out and asked anything. I told the girl that I had asked for kindness of the burrito and it said I got this burrito. I told her I wanted my money back and I would like to have the manager's number she gave me a nonworking number and says she didn't know the manager's name. I tried to call the number several times and it did not work so I asked her for a working number and she went back to talk to those people that were looking at me and came back and told me that there was nothing else that they can do. They already gave me my money back. There's no manager that I can talk to. I believe they only catered to Hispanics. I seen them making several burritos putting a gang of meat in their burrito, but I just so happened to get a bean and rice burrito for $17 make it make sense and then to not have a manager or anybody that's in charge working is insane to me but again I'm not Hispanic read more

I had a wonderful breakfast at Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill in Oxnard at Vineyard & Oxnard Blvd in Oxnard Lupita Castor and Julio Lopez's new venture in Oxnard. I had their delicious nopal omelette and fresh squeezed orange juice this morning and a recent lunch of chili relleno, perfect pintos and rice reminiscent of kitchens of long ago. So DELISH!!!! I love omelette's, specifically veggie omelette's, and I had for real one of the best omelette's ever. Light & folded like a crepe...the veggie combo that I wouldn't have thought of for an omelette (think zucchini & carrot shreds) along with traditional veggies. And SWISS cheese. Yum. I would post a picture of my DELICIOUS berry French toast, but I dug right it and before I knew it... done. From the freshly cooked food to the friendly and attentive employees, we felt like this is one of the best places we've ever found in the "let's try someplace new" lottery. My husband had a wet breakfast burrito and his biggest compliment is he didn't add any cholula. Generous portions and oh so yummy. read more

Great food and service. What i liked about this place is that they have cafe de olla! It wasnt too sweet which is how I like my coffee. The ambiance is very laidback and comfy. I ordered the turkey club sandwich and my mom ordered the crepe combo, both were really good. They also have this amazing habanero salsa they give. Overall its a great breakfast spot in Oxnard and I will be bringing the rest of my family in the future. read more

How can this place have so many positive reviews? The service is so bad and frustrating, the food is just okay, the only good thing I can say is the menudo is good but what's the point of all you can eat if no one ever comes back to check on you and offer another bowl! There's so many other great options in Oxnard for breakfast, this place is just not worth it read more

Delicious and great, friendly service. Do yourself a favor and give it a try! This place is going into my top Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is fresh, authentic and flavorful. The caldo de res was perfect, not fatty and had all the flavors of a home cooking, including fluffy, tasty rice. My chilaquiles were some of the best I've had, and I appreciated that the side of beans had a balanced sprinkle of queso fresco, and not the oily shredded cheese that other places drown food in. The tortillas are freshly made and soft. The menu is very appealing and we'll be back to try additional items. I'm looking forward to returning! read more

Passing through Oxnard stopped for breakfast at Mi Pueblo Cafe. I had the birria de chivo it was the best I ever had. Crazy Delicious! With homemade tortillas and cafe de olla. Husband had huevos divorciados served over a corn quesadilla, I mean, what detail! Service was on point. Attentive and kind. Will definitely will stop again our on way back home. read more

Went for breakfast on a Sunday. Food was really good, they have tortillas hechas a mano and the service is good. Didn't give a 5 because I went another time for dinner and that menu didn't have much selection. I had the molcajete and while I wanted to really like it, I felt it needed a different combination of items. Hoping they can get the dinner menu together so they can get more clientele. Place is spacey and really quiet. I will be back for breakfast read more

Visiting from out of town, we stop by for our first visit. The wait staff were outstanding. Pleasant, hard working and very attentive. Food was tasty and served fast. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the carnitas burrito. Both were excellent. I would certainly go back. read more

We just had an amazing experience at Mi Pueblo Cafe for a birthday brunch this weekend. Our waitress Elena was attentive, friendly and very professional! The food was incredible! Their menudo and their green chile chilaquiles were delicious! They easily accommodated our group of 8, and the restaurant was very nice. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try. Mi Pueblo Cafe is under new management and they do not disappoint. Lupita and Julio are amazing and the food is delicious. My husband and I each had the huevos rancheros, mine plain and his with nopales. They were so good, and the home potatoes and corn tortillas, AMAZING! The menudo was also delicious and so flavorful. Can't wait to go back and try the crepes. read more

My wife & I just found out new favorite cafe. That has authentic Mexican food with excellent service. From the moment you walk in until you leave the owner shows genuine interested in the guest experience. Their consistently checking up on you making sure your experience is going great. My wife and I ventured out to find caldo de rez. After striking out at several locations we drove past Mi Pueblo cafe. We called and confirmed they had it. We went in and the service was superb. We ordered our food to go. When we got home and ate we were extremely satisfied with our food. The caldo was amazing, the side of rice was delicious and overall we were very happy. The food is excellent and it is served hot and ready to enjoy, the helpings are very large and well presented. The service is quick and you are asked several times if you have any needs, the décor is very nice and just what you are wanting to see, they make the meal even better, all of the floor areas are neat and kept clean, everything I asked for was just to my liking. This is what this location was looking for a clean, friendly, place to get a good filling meal at a fair price, I will be returning soon with my entire family so they to can enjoy this establishment. read more

You MUST try Mi Pueblo Cafe! Their service is excellent and fast, and the staff and owners are very courteous. The ambiance was perfect, so we started with a Bloody Mary & some Mimosas, both were very good. The Menudo was delicious and so were were the home made tortillas! We ended out meal with some mini churros which were very good and the portion was just the right size! Stop by and try it!! read more

The best Sunday breakfast spot in town! The menudo was amazing! It was very well served and packed full of tender tripe and came with all of standard menudo seasonings. Did I also mention homemade corn tortillas? This is very family friendly restaurant, but don't be afraid to order a michelada or 2 to go with your delicious meal! We'll be coming back! read more
