Really good cinnamon roll French toast, spicy and delicious bloody Mary, and the bacon was crisp. Decor is interesting and the bottomless mimosa seems like a good deal but I didn't try it. They had a Xmas tree up still but decorated for spring I guess or summer? The Nutella crepe was epic as well. Fresh squeezed orange juice too was amazing. Food came out quickly and was all delicious.

Came by on a weekend morning. There was not many people waiting, but they were short staffed, so did have to wait a while. Food was worth it though. Had the Machaca and menudo. Both delicious. Friendly service. Home made corn tortillas, yum.

Shoutout to my friend and fellow Yelper Eri G. For making a great breakfast recommendation. I was craving some authentic Mexican food, especially breakfast items and she said we had to come here. I always listen to her because she is spot on and this place was truly delicious. Located off Vineyard it's fairly easy to get to and it's right off of the freeway. I liked that they had their own private parking lot, makes dining here easy and safe. The restaurant itself is darling. It's actually pretty large inside and can fit a good amount of people. They had plenty of options for sitting, booths and tables and on a Saturday morning it wasn't very busy but it did pickup. The interior is clean and they have nice artwork and decor. I loved the stained glass windows that face the main dining area. Service was easily 5 stars. Our waitresses name was Norma and she was so sweet. She had a great personality and made us feel super welcomed. She was on top of things and gave us great service from start to finish. I also appreciated that she answered our questions about the menu and gave good suggestions. I'd come back again just to eat at Normas table! The food is another 5 stars, everything I had was delish. The menu here is big with lots of breakfast and lunch options. I opted for the pork verde chilaquiles. This came with an over medium egg and beans. The dish was fantastic and easy 5 stars. The eggs were cooked exactly as I asked and the refried beans had great flavor. The portion of the chilaquiles was massive, super generous for the price. What I also liked was that the pork verde sauce was flavorful and had massive amount of cooked pork. Sometimes when they say their sauces have pork some places just use small shreds but here the pork was very generous and super tender - cooked perfectly. My friend ordered a crepes breakfast combo plate and it looked tasty to me. Also fun that they have a nice small alcohol selection here for those of you who like a boozy brunch. Beers and wines. Also bloody Mary's and my personal favorite, their micheladas. Presentation was great and the drink was cold and refreshing. If you're looking for a family run breakfast and lunch spot with Mexican American fusion you must definitely check out this spot as it was really good and nice people work here!

I had never been here for breakfast ! Glad I finally made it! I was tempted to get the menudo they sell Saturdays and Sundays but I had a date with the gym right after. I opted for the crepe combo . It was ok but my friend's chilaquiles verdes looked muchoooo better . I was jealous! I just wanted a lighter breakfast but wished I would have had something like her plate . Haha ! Norma .. our waitress was wonderful! Attentive, friendly and sweet . We got there at 8:30am so it wasn't that busy . People started arriving around 9am . Plenty of parking out back. Clean place! Come support . So much seating indoors or outdoors. Big menu with options for the entire fam or the pickiest of friends.

It's Cinco de Mayo today but I don't need an excuse to eat Mexican food. It is my favorite! It was getting close to dinner time and I just wanted to place an order to go. When I walked up to the counter, a man helped me right away. He handed me a menu so I could look it over and then in a few minutes I was ready to place my order with the cashier. She was also very helpful and friendly. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. I ordered a Wet Chile Verde Burrito. They also gave me chips, salsa and pico de gallo. The burrito was quite large yet I had no problem finishing it all. The salsa has got to be one of my favorites I have tried out of the 2 Mexican restaurants I have tried since moving here. It was thin yet had some chunks of tomato, cilantro and I think orange bell pepper?. I could be wrong about the bell pepper. They could be pickled peppers for all I know. But everything was tasty and seasoned well. The burrito had rice and beans in it but there definitely was more pork in it than the rice and beans which I prefer. I don't care for places that use rice and beans as the main filler. This place doesn't do that.

This place is soooo good. Please come here and if you're getting brunch the chile verde huevos rancheros are *chefs kiss* my boyfriend orders the big breakfast and he loves it. Bottomless champagne for $20 and service is AMAZING. Staff is so kind and helpful. Just come here and you will not regret it!

We stopped by on a weekend and were so pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly. Our meals were really good too my only "complaint" was that the horchata wasn't very good and were accidentally charged for 2 instead of 1. I would still come back again because it was that good!

This is a very family friendly breakfast restaurant. It was my first time here because we were looking for a place who had chilaquiles. They have lots of parking space available and inside so many tables. We came in around 1pm and it was busy but still we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and seated right away. They only have tables so not booths are available but they offer so many options from french toast to classic mexican plates. We started off with the asada nachos and they were very delicious. My red chilaquiles were also very delicious. I just would have liked more sour cream on them but they were still good. Everyone was very attentive and very friendly as well. They also offer lots of drinks so family or friends this is the perfect place to enjoy it all together! This a great spot in Oxnard!

They are located on Vineyard Ave & closest intersection is North Oxnard Blvd, in between Chevron & El Pollo Loco. If driving from Oxnard Blvd, you would have to turn on Vineyard & make a U-Turn to get here. Plenty of parking in their lot behind the restaurant. Walked in on a Monday morning & didn't wait too long to get seated. Good amount of patrons having breakfast & a good amount of indoor seating... Latinx vibes felt here with Authentic music playing in the background. They have a cute little bar in the back too. They serve Traditional Mexican Breakfast like Chile Verde, Chilaquiles, Machaca & more. They also have American Classics such as Omelettes, Waffles, Pancakes & more. For lunch & dinner they offer: Appetizers, Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers & Dessert. I wanted something light & simple, so I went with the Light Breakfast. It came with: 2 eggs whites, 2 turkey bacon, wheat toast & fresh fruit. I didn't realize my breakfast was supposed to come w/ toast, until I got home & glanced at the menu while I was looking at my pictures. Oh well, no biggie. I still enjoyed my food. My +1 ordered the Special they had that day which was a Bacon, Cheese, Avocado Omelette & chose home potatoes for the side. He definitely inhaled his plate, with a small serving leftover for me to take home & try the next day. Man those potatoes were good! Lots of flavor, had some bell peppers & onion pieces in it. Overall, we enjoyed our Breakfast! I would definitely come back to try the Traditional Mexican Dishes. Our server today was Monze. I tried Mi Pueblo cafe recently - and it was absolutely delicious! First of all, I ordered asada, carnitas, and chicken taco. The asada and carnitas tacos were good, but the chicken taco was excellent. It was juicy and well seasoned. I'd say all I left were the scraps behind, but even I made sure to scrape off any leftovers from my plate to make sure it made it directly into my belly! I also tried the trio fajitas combo, which came out piping hot - and was scrumptious. Every piece on the fajita plate came together to create a delicious mixture of tangy and moist. The tortillas were also soft and appetizing. Our server was Johan, who was helpful, friendly, and fast in serving us. I felt like all the servers/staff we encountered were very knowledgable and kind - and we didn't find out until we were leaving that we were cutting it close to their closing hours. However, they still provided us excellent service, and I didn't feel rushed or feel an aura of impatience in them waiting for us to leave. I am eager to try their brunch here in the future as it seems like that is also very popular and looks like it has mouthwatering food and reasonable prices. We have been here two times now for Sunday brunch. Expect a wait if you go prime time. The chilaquiles are delicious. Both the Rojo and Verde. The bottomless mimosas were great. They left the bottle at the table for my husband which was perfect for him. Service is always friendly. The food did take a very long time to come out and everything was coming out one at a time. Maybe this was due to a big party. The live music was a nice touch. On our next visit I definitely want one of those delicious looking Cinnamon rolls!

I am very disappointed in this place. The first time I came, I was excited to try an authentic Mexican place near me. Since I don't eat pork, it's always challenging to find a place that doesn't cook with lard. The manager was in and he was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the chilaquiles and he offered fresh beans instead of refried beans to accommodate my needs. I was very pleased and the food was very good. The second time I came, he was not in. I asked for the same, fresh beans instead of refried. The server said they have never done that and can't, and was not willing to help at all. Having come a week before and getting it fine, I knew they could and explained as such, yet they refused. She wasn't rude or anything, but them flip flopping on what they can do is very disconcerting. If you have no dietary restrictions, I highly recommend. Their food is good If you have even the slightest of needs though, go elsewhere. I will not be returning. read more

Service A+, Ambiance A+, Food AAA+ We came late afternoon as we'd missed lunch but were hungry. We've driven by this place so many times and not stopped. I'm an avid follower of Yelp and reviews are usually accurate. We had 2 iced teas, wife had taquitos and I ordered the Chili Relleno. Tea was really good and wife loved her taquitos. The Chili Relleno was the best I've had in the last 10 years. Hand made flour tortillas and hand made Relleno and it definitely showed in flavor and quality!! So good I'll be jonesing for that until I return (which will be in under a week I'm sure. Food so fresh, service so wonderful and a super clean interior. Yolanda's is a waste of your time - come here! Total bill was $33 including a side of guacamole for my wife's taquitos (even though it had 3 healthy slabs of avocado on top!). Their salsa is a little spicy for gringos. If you like mild, you won't find it here - it's hot. Zero complaints - we'll be back and SOON! read more

So good we forgot to take pics! Both of our dishes were amazing and have. To say the fresh flour and corn tortillas were bomb. The beans are amazing and we don't get wowed up to easy anymore these days. Prices and portions are fair we will be back soon!!! Staff is great and friendly and no issues at all , place is clean and has old school vibes and love the picture light boxes! Worth it to stop in and we didn't even plan to go here just caught our eye from the stop light. Both wifey and I felt so satisfied and happy after we left! I have Lived in the area since 1987-88 and this place is legit.... ~The Real Dealio~ Muy Authentica~ Mexican/American diner type restaurant action!! Next time pics for sure! Called to order for take out and asked if the green chilaquiles had meat and they said no. So we ordered some and took a big bite when we got home. To our surprise, the sauce was chile verde, not salsa verde, and had pork everywhere. As a vegetarian, it was inedible. In the future, we'll eat at places that are more honest and forthcoming about what's in their food, and that's not this place. read more

As soon as we walked into the restaurant you knew that you were at the right place, the smell of Good Food! The Manager greeted us at our table and told us a bit about the cook and how they pride themselves on the freshness of their food. Our waitress was friendly and on top of everything! The coffee was very good too. I will post pics of the food we ordered. We also meet a great family who were from Pomona, they said that they vacation in Oxnard every year and just Love the local restaurants. They take their kids fishing. read more

Food was AMAZING!! Top notch service! The waitress acknowledged us as soon as we walked in and greeted us with a warm smile. I told her Menus overwhelmed me and I told her what I would like, and she made it happen way beyond my expectation! The owner was coming by and making sure we had everything we needed as well as the waitress. The Ambiance was warm and inviting. New restaurant! Service was a bit slow understandable for being new but really didn't disappoint. They had a Bloody Mary on the list but I requested to have a bloody maria instead. That was not a disappointment, the drink was delicious. My honey ordered the menudo with the fresh corn tortillas. Took a bite of the corn tortilla which was really authentic. That was a plus! I ordered the chilaquiles in pork green sauce and this plate also did not disappoint. Over all was a great experience. I saw that they also had Birria on the menu....must come back for a tasteoh ya!!! Also the bottomless Mimosas is definitely something to come and have read more

Homemade tortillas, cinnamon rolls, and more. Attentive, friendly staff. Excellent, fresh food. Clean, spacious, and nice decor. We had machaca and eggs, corn tortillas, California club sandwich, seasoned fries, coffee. Definitely recommend and we will be back. Heads up that GPS may misguide you a bit. First the food, the food portions are big and not cheaply made, everything is seasoned. I got the eggs Benedict with chorizo and they were filling and well seasoned. The pancakes are also big that come with the American breakfast the cafe de olla is brought in cups made for them clay type aesthetic. Cafe de olla is flavorful and something to try if you are a coffee lover. Hints of star anise cinnamon and brown sugar with a light zest. Customer service feels as if you are being catered personally and greeted with a warm welcome and smile. Good place to bring family or just to get a good plate of food for a decent price would come here over dennys any day. read more

What's their story? Must be over 100 seats in this place. Huge dining area. Lots of staff. But now only open for breakfast and lunch. We ordered Mexican breakfast - very tasty, generous portions, good service. We were alone in this big, good looking place. I don't get it. Waiter gave my brother a free cup of cafe de Olla to go but when I asked for one was trying to charge me again even though we both ordered one during our meal. Never even came and refilled my coffee after paying 5.00 for one cup and no refill. Have always had a cup to go with no issue from other waiters not sure why I was getting charged today for another one. read more

My husband ate breakfast here for the first and last time this a.m. - he got a $17 "Big Breakfast" and brought me home a $17 veggie omelette. He had an $8 orange juice, no substitutions, the meal & juice totaling $42. Tipped 20% $8.40, with a 9.25% tax of $3.89... Of course my husband just hands them the card and they run what should have been $54.28. I see a charge on my card right now for $60.68 from this place. And no one answers the phone at Mi Pueblito during business hours. I called twice while they were still open today. I don't know who that extra $6.40 went to, but my suggestion to patrons is check your bill and your receipt before you leave. My suggestion to Mi Pueblito is to answer the phone during business hours so you don't end up with reviews of your fuzzy math instead of your food. read more

We stopped in for some breakfast and they did not disappoint. We had a very nice waitress named Ross who had a big smile. The food came out hot which is a huge bonus. I hate when my food comes out cold. The restaurant was very clean and every item they brought out smelt delicious. I would highly recommend this place read more

This is a very cute little cafe that has great food and even better service. We were on the 101 in the pouring rain and just needed a break. We checked the reviews for great Mexican food and Mi Pueblo came up. The food was so good and cooked to order. I actually requested something off the menu and they did it for me and it was beyond delicious. I wish I lived in Oxnard just so I could eat those refried beans daily! read more

Even though it was nearing closing time, I had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and were attentive to our needs, which made us feel valued. The beautiful and spacious atmosphere makes it a perfect setting for large groups, birthday celebrations, or office meetings.
