I arrive at this business very distraught and almost heartbroken... I had been to two other…read moreshipping places here in Lansing only to be refused... I called here initially and they ensured that they would be able to package my items and ship them safely to me... I am overly grateful for their self-confidence and their ability to ship my item to me. They were highly confident in their ability and very professional with the way they handled my items being shipped to me. I am very grateful and would definitely recommend this business location to others

Here goes with my first public review ever written. Apologies in advance for the length but the…read morecustomer experience we had was as awful as you can get. My story starts off with a simple need to drop off some packages. Unfortunately, I just had knee surgery and am currently on crutches. My girlfriend has a leg injury which requires her to wear a brace and not carry too much weight. So obviously, we needed help getting our packages out of her car, one being a very large, heavy box. We were fortunate that a friend put the package in her car for us beforehand, but we would not be able to get it out without help. Once we pull up next to the store, my girlfriend goes into the mostly empty store to ask one of the two employees working for help. Being stressed out from the daunting task of getting the packages into the store, my girlfriend thought it harmless to quickly ask if there was someone who could assist us as we couldn't physically get the boxes without help. Unfortunately, the employee at the desk was still helping a customer and - instead of asking the other associate to come out, explain the store policy, or to simply ask for a few moments to finish up - her only response was, "we have a dolly." So, of course, my girlfriend explains again that I'm on crutches and she has a leg injury. Once again, the same four-word response, "we have a dolly." Since there was clearly no other help coming from the UPS employee, my girlfriend then takes the dolly out to the car to take the box out herself with incredible difficulty. I even had to move a box into the store by hitting it with my crutches while trying to maneuver, after opening the door without any assistance. Finally, the other employee comes to prop the door open after I've done all that and no longer need her help. Regardless, I thanked her. Thankfully, a customer that came later was leaving and offered to help us, as it was obvious to everyone but the two UPS employees that we couldn't do this on our own. At this point, the initial employee had yet to move from behind the counter and the other employee had gone back to her post. With this kind customer's help, we managed to get the box on the dolly, then to the counter. At this point, some other customers started showing up and a different thoughtful person offered to help us get the boxes up. We were grateful as the employees behind the counter again acted like nothing was out of the ordinary and actually seemed to be impatient that we were slow in getting our package on the counter. After we finally managed to get both packages squared away, the employee was clearly annoyed at how long we took, even though we asked the customers behind us to go ahead as we would need extra time. She scanned our packages and snapped at my girlfriend when she asked to make sure the correct shipping label was attached to the right box. So, it is clear that the two UPS employees' time and effort are far more important than coming to the aid of two customers in need of help - or even communicating with us to explain their lack of action. Never in my life have I been treated with such indifference and rudeness, especially when all that was being asked was that we get some assistance with our very obvious physical limitations.

I love it whenever we can walk into a post office and the place is empty. Try that in L.A., Seattle, Bay Area sometime. This was luxury! Nice staff.

If Angela is the employee with the terrible wig who never wears a name tag, as mentioned in other…read morereviews, then she was extremely rude during my visit. I went in to mail a package and was unaware that USPS no longer offers overnight shipping and now only provides Express delivery in two to three days. When I approached the counter, I asked the employee for a next-day shipping label because there weren't any available in the lobby. She immediately responded in a snide tone, "That's because we no longer have overnight shipping," while smacking her lips. I replied, "Okay, I need this package delivered as quickly as possible because my son is staying with a friend." She instructed me to put my return address on the envelope because they would print the label for me. While filling out the envelope, I handed her another letter that also needed to be mailed. When I gave her the package information, she told me that only one name could appear on the label. I had already explained that my son was staying with someone else and that I needed to make sure the package reached him. At that point, I told her to give the envelope back to me because I would take it to UPS instead. While checking out, I accidentally pressed the wrong button on the payment screen, which canceled the transaction. Her response was, "Let's try this again," said in a very rude and condescending manner. After paying, the keypad asked me to rate my experience, and I selected the red unhappy face because the customer service was terrible. As I was leaving with my envelope to take it elsewhere, I heard her say, "Testing, testing." There was absolutely no reason for her attitude. Customer service employees should treat customers with respect and professionalism. If she dislikes her job or doesn't want to provide basic customer service, then perhaps she should consider a position that doesn't involve interacting with the public.
