Wesley, the owner even came back a week later to help put some things together that Mark couldn't do on his own! I would use these guys again & I would highly recommend them for your move. They got it all done within two hours and the unload was even faster; they did a phenomenal job! The only "oops" moment was because I forgot to disassemble an item and we got stuck in traffic behind a serious accident which closed the Interstate. Everything turned out even better than I expected. Have already recommended them to a friend who will need some things moved in the future and I will be using them again when I need to!

We did a deep dive into our basement, garage & closets & came up with so much to give away. When I called other companies, I discovered they would not remove certain items & they referred me to Lansing Junk Removal. The men who came to our home were respectful of our property, worked quickly & removed everything. What was very impressive is they have a store where they repurpose as many items as possible, give away books for free & also charge for other item they put on the floor. They are a 15-year local family business who gives back to the community thru many charities with the $ they receive from the store. I am a fan & will refer friends, family & neighbors, if asked. Most of their business, I understand, are referrals from satisfied customers. I am one. K

You never want to hear the moving crew say "we should have brought a bigger truck." I hired movers…read morebecause my husband and and I are senior citizens and we could afford the cost of the movers. The quote was around $2500-$2800, but we were only charged about half of that because they ran out of truck before we ran out of stuff. One of the movers told me they didn't like moving televisions, couldn't I just take that 80" TV in my car because they didn't have the proper equipment with them to move them. They made one load and we spent the next 4 days lifting and moving stuff in our vehicles--something we tried to avoid by hiring movers. This service was not worth the high cost of having to move things ourselves. We had used the service twice before, but never again.

He said yes and said he changed my time to 2 to 4 pm when he had another customer cancel. I told him we would not be ready that early and I could do 3 pm he agreed. The movers called me at 1:48 pm and said they were at my Apt and that the clock starts at 2 pm!!! Keep in mind I am disabled and use an electric wheelchair so I'm not able to just hurry and be ready. I said to the labor men that no, I would not start the clock at 1:48 pm when they weren't even supposed to be here yet and the truck we rented was not back from the rental place yet. The owner then told me he left me a message that they were coming at 2!!! Like I am a business and have to listen to voice mail. I told him he couldn't change the time without my consent. The workers then told me that my time was up and I owed $398.00 because I had to pay them from their place to my home and back The owner never mentioned that to me remember he said $300.00. Then he said if I didn't pay it they would have to call the police for theft of services because it said it in the email they sent. It doesn't say that in the email I will share with you. Then they weren't even finished with the job! So I had to hire them for 30 more mnts at $70.00 more dollars! So they stole my time and were going to make me a criminal for theft of their time!! I should have called the police myself and had them arrested for stealing my time by changing the time without my consent, not informing me of the $98.00 charge for them coming to my house and going back to work AND NOT FINISHING THE JOB, SENDING ME TO JAIL FOR AN OFFENCE THEY WERE COMMITTING, AND NOT INFORMING ME IT WOULD BE $468.00 INSTEAD OF THE QUOTED PRICE OF $300.00. I am on a fixed income and was being EXTORTED BY MR. BIG STUFF CO. Of Grand Ledge. It was the worst experiences I've9o had with hired help. Do not trust them to quote you the right price or to come at the agreed upon time and they will call the police if you don't pay these charges they didn't tell you about. One because one of the labor men said he was sorry about the miscommunication and he hoped I had a safe trip.
