Mi Cozumel is our favorite Mexican restaurant! Service is top notch! We were greeted at the door to be seated with warm chips and salsa. The ambiance is always bright, loud in a good way, and happy. There were 2 birthday parties while we were there. I love the celebration every time!! We will be forever customers. We've had family meals and birthday parties here. I can't say enough about how great this place is! Besides the delicious food, their drinks are strong, fun and tasty!

I went here for my 21wt birthday and it was a blast!! Of course my birthday always falls on a Bengals game day, but we were covered with plenty of TV's with whatever game the dads and moms wanted to watch. Their customer service was absolutely wonderful and the staff was so attentive and funny. Of course I had to get the biggest margarita I could drink by myself and it was so yummy. Food was delicious and most of my family had plenty of food to take home due to giant portions - good thing it reheats well! Bathrooms were gorgeous and the atmosphere was booming - perfect for a celebration or someone who is sick of the same old quiet restaurant.

It's my 3rd time here in the last week or so. My experiences have been better each time. Today I'm with 3 kids and my adult daughter. They got the cheeseburger and fries kids meals, taco kids meal, mac n cheese kid meal and a cheese quesadilla. Everything was delicious. Inside it was slow due to the weather, but it felt so nice and cozy. Service was amazing and our waiter was very attentive.

I had the beef fajitas and a mangonada and was satisfied with the size and strength of my drink (but $20 ) and my fajitas were of fantastic flavor but I felt I could have had a little bit more beans and rice bang for my buck. Service was FANTASTIC and friendly. The atmosphere and ambiance was fun enough for groups but allowed for intimacy of a date night. Pricing was a bit more than I expected but I will definitely be back despite the pinch on the pocketbook.

The fact that the Coz only has 2.8 stars on here is a travesty. Underrated is an understatement! For a local lively Mexican spot this place has everything you're looking for and more. The ambiance is loud, colorful, lively, and fun with wacky art installations and bright decor all around. The staff match the energy with their friendly service and VERY lively birthday celebrations. The food menu is overwhelmingly large, so go in with an open mind and some extra time to look through all the options. We got the grilled shrimp plate and the Texas dip, both of which were fresh and full of flavor. The drink menu also has over 30+ Vegas style crazy creative margarita variations. All in all, if you're looking for a good place to maybe embarrass a friend on their birthday or just unwind in a lively group setting, this place is a must try! If you are a crabby person who needs a quiet intimate setting, I'd say don't try this place or really most Mexican restaurants for that matter.

Pre-made side dishes and appetizers is not our thing. . Why ruin a good thing. They grew too fast and is FIzzLING OUT!

The fact some of these reviews call this quality Mexican food is insane to me because it has no flavor. The drinks are what people go there for - they are big and over the top - some come in collector glasses - some have a whole candy store on them. I ordered a basic small pineapple margarita for $9.99 - it came out with a pineapple and candy straws. I asked for sugar on the rim - it had none. It tasted like pure tequila - Idk why they called it pineapple because I couldn't taste a hint of pineapple anywhere. My boyfriend got the cotton candy drink which is $22.99 for a fishbowl with cotton candy, a sucker and half of a candy counter on top with strawberry vodka and a strawberry margarita shaker on the side - not really sure what about that is really cotton candy besides the garnishes but he said it was good just expensive but it was strong! My boyfriend's sister got the $35.99 queens margarita which was served in a large bottle of patron with a travel bottle of 1800 as a garnish on top and more candy and fruit - it was a 3 layer frozen margarita - also strong. Even with the potency of the cocktails they could drop the price tag if they got rid of all the candy that isn't really needed on top as it doesn't add anything to the drink. I got french fries which were basic and tasted fine but didn't come out that hot. My friend got the birria tacos - they were good but not $20 for a plate of tacos with no sides good. She said she has had better for less. All in all go for the drinks and snag some food elsewhere. Wait staff was nice enough and the place seemed decently clean.

The food is okay. The drinks are always good and sooo pretty. We had a good time celebrating a birthday! The service was also okay. Sometimes they took to long to come back to the table. I had the taco salad and it was soo good I have never had it before.

I have no idea why this place has only 3 stars. People just be cranky and high strung. Everything about this place was amazing from the decor, to the service, to the food and drinks, and the prices. They are super friendly and quick and now they have even more locations than ever. You get so much for for the price and they have some huge and fancy drinks. Very authentic tasting food as well. I had tried 3 different tacos and all very flavorful. One thing I hate about some taco places is when they don't have enough sauces or juiciness from the meat. If your meats not good then you need to add in flavor through veggies and other things and these tacos are little flavor bombs. I want to come back for day drinking margaritas. I have also been to the Oakley location. The place is huge and always packed when we go so not sure why the reviews are so low, but hoping to get that up with a 5 star review.

If you're looking for quick, go to Taco Bell. If you're looking for authentic quality Mexican cuisine, go to Mi Cozumel. Our Y group goes to the Winton Rd. Location and we are never disappointed. They do take their time, but it's worth it. Their specialty margaritas are both a work of art, and delicious. The food is top notch. I'm a big eater, and I've never left hungry, nor dissatisfied.

What a great new restaurant. You can't go wrong with the large menu of specialty margaritas or the amazing menu. Everything ordered was amazing, flavorful, and decorated. The atmosphere is incredible. The mariachi band plays for birthdays celebrated and the lucky birthday guest get a drink with some flare (as ordered by their friends) The only reason it was not 5 stars for me is they do not have a waitlist to be seated. It is first come first serve including the bar. They don't ask your party size you just wait in the doorway hoping people inside finish their dinner soon. It is a little inefficient and in the winter it is cold. I would return for the food and margaritas and atmosphere.

The food was alright but overpriced if you ask me. The drinks were cute but mostly overpriced for the little toys they put on there.

There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. The place itself was cool with colorful lights & fun graffiti-like walls, but the aesthetic was let down by the lack of people. We enjoyed the free popcorn & I really liked my drink, the downside up, although I realize it's probably too sweet for most. Unfortunately, the cocktail & popcorn didn't make up for the dead atmosphere & we left pretty quickly. I would be interested in going again & seeing what it would be like when it's lively; I imagine it would be a fun spot when the dance floor is full!

It was a nice night so we took advantage of being able to sit outside. I love all the random art and set up of the back. To drink I had the chunker, which was gin in a San Pelegríno it was a very refreshing drink! Deceptively doesn't taste like alcohol. I noticed some people with white claws and little airplane bottles so naturally I have to have a strong claw as well. We also had some very tasty shots, all around we had a good time, just hanging out and enjoying drinks, can't wait to come back here and visit again!

Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.
