Didn't have a very good experience here at all here. Server I was with with, under the name Jayce, I believe. Started off rude to my boyfriend and I. Then when we ordered, I tried something different. I didn't like it so I asked her if I could change it and she said she couldn't. Then I just asked if she could just take it off my bill she also said no and that she couldn't. All she said was that she could box it up for me so I could take it home, but I didn't want to because neither of us liked it. So I was annoyed that I was spending $5 on an item that I didn't even like or eat. Then we orders something in the side (the menu said it was $1.25 or something like that) but when we got the bill, it added on $4 (which isn't a lot but I was still annoyed) Don't want to come back here again :( read more

The best authentic Mexican food in the area! I've had my share of Mexican (Even in Mexico) and this is the real deal! Love the atmosphere and the staff, and most of all the Guacamole! Mexican food is one of my favorites so when I saw that a "taco tour of Ohio" included a place close to me, I needed to try it. The service was horrible. Our server couldn't spare a smile, didnt ask if i wanted a draft beer or bottle, never csme back to get a second drink. We sat at the bar for 45 minutes waiting for a table and never got a drink order taken. Food was a 2 out of 5 but eh service was a 0 so I am giving the place a 1. read more

A pleasant surprise that we just happened across because another restaurant in Delaware was closed on Sunday. The major disappointment for me, as for another reviewer below, was that they do not serve alcohol on Sundays besides beer. I really missed having a margarita with my meal. Other than that, the food was very respectable. I had tasty fish tacos, which came with rice and refried beans (not a fan of the latter, but I'm not in general). It took a little time to be seated, but once we were, the service was reasonably timely. I could have done without being referred to as "amigos" by the hostess and waiter, but no biggie. read more

Best Mexican in town but the service needs a boost. They are overwhelmed in the front because they don't have enough people. So you stand and wait to be seated. Same for getting your check if you sit at the bar. Aside from the wait, the salsa is awesome and the food is as well. If you can't wait, it is worth it. read more

Absolutely phenomenal! I refuse to go to those big chain Mexican restaurants because of Mi Cerrito. Every time my family and I go here it is always perfect and reasonably priced. The food is great, the service is great and the fried ice cream for dessert is great too! Each time I go here I try to get something different but for some reason I am always drawn toward the Pollo Hawaiiano because it is just so tasty. There is only one downfall to this place and that is parking. If the city is busy it can sometimes be difficult to find a parking spot but other than that I always recommend it to anyone asking for authentic Mexican food. read more

DATE NIGHT RUINED by a COCKROACH!!!! We have eaten at Mi Cerrito many times, both as a couple and with our children. Tonight, however, right after had finished our chicken fajitas for two, something caught my eye on the wall, and to my HORROR, it was a COCKROACH! Just sitting there on the wall next to our table! I was instantly disgusted and we called the closest waiter over to us, who quickly grabbed a napkin and got it. They barely even offered an apology, no discount of any kind and their excuse was that they had just had an exterminator there "on Friday" which was "causing all the bugs from the basement to come out everywhere." What??? Disgusting! We will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN, and I suggest you stay far, far away from this place. It's a shame, too, because we did enjoy their food... I guess my palette doesn't taste cockroach-infestations. YUCK read more

What happend??? This used to be a great place to go and the service was awesome. Lately...the restaurant smells terrible...hard to even stay indoors. Tried take out and it was disappointing....half of the order missing and definitely less than expected for the money. Very good food! I had the Polo Loco and it was fabulous! The chicken, grilled onions and mushrooms were fantastic! The folks are very attentive, drinks stayed full, they are so friendly too! We was told 15 to 20 minute wait. 20 minutes later we was told 20 more minutes, an hour later when we ask again, The host was rude and disrespectful, in front of my children and a waiting area full of people. I couldn't have been treated any ruder when paying for my to go order. If you have a price in the menu make sure your "system" matches!
