    Queso Fundido

Last Friday stopped in to try this new place out, and it was so good. started with the Choripollo. This was grilled chicken strips and chorizo topped with melted cheese. It also came with Mexican rice, pico de Gallo and flour tortillas. This had just the right amount of spice from the Chorizo, but tasted so good. next was the Carne Asada which was a thin rib eye steak served over grilled onions and also came with all the sides listed on first course. I also wanted to add started off with the Quest fundido, this was the best I have had in some time. It was loaded with the Chorizo which I really like! The dining room is on the smaller side, so they do take reservations. When we left there was a wait to eat, so always call ahead if possible.

Quick and Polite service. Drinks were right sized and priced fairly. Chimichanga and Fish tacos both came out nice and hot, good portion sizes. Not a big place but was clean and quiet. Enjoyed our meal.

We were in the area and looking for somewhere to grab dinner. Saw this place as the first option when we searched the internet and were not disappointed. Seating was pretty tight as they had a packed house, but the service was excellent. My quesabirria was SO good. Tender, flavorful meat and that consommé ... goodness, could've drank what was left, but didn't want to make a fool of myself. Our daughter said her tacos were just the right amount of spicy and sweet with delicious chicken. My husband said his seafood chimichanga was good - he rated it 8/10 as the seafood was very "fishy" tasting. We will definitely be making the 20 min. drive again soon.

Just so happy to have this new restaurant here in Plain City. We went today to try it out. First the service was beyond amazing. We were met, and talked to by 3 people before our server even came by. Love the young guy with the Ratatouille on his shoulder he brought good chips and very nice salsa. We ordered the lime chicken tacos, ribeye tacos, and I had the chile relleno and enchilada with verde sauce. Everyone agreed their food is so very good. The margaritas were good and full pours. I had the regular and my wife had the peach frozen. We went early and when we exited, the line to come in was long. Good news is that they said they have already purchased the store front nest to them so they can expand. They are going to need it. Go support this family!!

I stopped by during a break from a very long wrestling tournament and glad I did, the place was hopping. Great food and the margarita was delicious as well! The staff at Siete were amazing, friendly and on their A+ game! My Chili Relleno was fantastic!

Steak, chicken, and shrimp fajita. Shrimp tastes high quality.

Great service, host and waiter very nice. Food was very good (see pictures). Bright inside, outdoor dining available. 2 TVs to watch games. Will be back if in area again.

Fantastic friendly service, clean restaurant, excellent food…read more I was traveling through Plain City for work, and craving Mexican food. Mi Sombrero turned out to be a fantastic choice. My food was excellent! The price was reasonable. The employees were very cheerful and enthusiastic, which really adds to a good dining experience.

There is a full parking lot available but no garage and no street parking at Mi Sombrero in Plain…read moreCity The salsa was excellent! A touch of spice was an unexpected surprise. The tortilla were not special. Crispy and thin. I think salt was needed. Hubs ordered #41 burritos tipicos. He requested 2 chicken burritos. (One chicken and one beef was standard on the menu) Inside the burritos was Shredded chicken, grilled bell pepper and onions. The burritos were topped with cheese sauce and served with a guacamole salad and refried beans. My husband said the burritos were delicious! The refried beans were topped with cheese and very creamy. Delicious! The star of the show was my order #50 Molcajete. This $20 entree was the most expensive item on the menu and WORTH every penny! Molcajete is simply a large black stone bowl. Inside there was 3 large pieces of tilapia, lotsa steak, chicken and shrimp. Green bell pepper and slices of onion are swimming in fajita sauce with all of that meat. Amazing! On the side a large plate of refried beans, rice and guacamole salad plus tortillas were served. This is a large meal! Plan to bring half home, especially if you enjoy the chips and salsa appetizer! Mi Sombrero offered 2 Mexican beers on tap plus a mini fridge full of beers. Service was friendly and efficient. We will return and definately recommend supporting this newer restaurant in Plain City.
