Last Friday stopped in to try this new place out, and it was so good. started with the Choripollo. This was grilled chicken strips and chorizo topped with melted cheese. It also came with Mexican rice, pico de Gallo and flour tortillas. This had just the right amount of spice from the Chorizo, but tasted so good. next was the Carne Asada which was a thin rib eye steak served over grilled onions and also came with all the sides listed on first course. I also wanted to add started off with the Quest fundido, this was the best I have had in some time. It was loaded with the Chorizo which I really like! The dining room is on the smaller side, so they do take reservations. When we left there was a wait to eat, so always call ahead if possible. read more

Recommended by an acquaintance. Decided to try it out on a Friday evening. It is located at the end of a strip mall next to the municipal building. So you know it is safe. Smaller place, only six seats at the bar. We were greeting with smiling faces at the door and were seated pretty quickly. Chips and salsa came quickly along with Genny stopping by to see if we wanted a drink. That answer would be yes. Drinks came soon after (Genny needed to make them herself) and they had great flavor and presentation. Dinner was a fajita quesadilla and the lovely wife got a combo meal. The dining room was fairly full when we arrived fir lunch on Saturday. We were greates and shiwn to a booth our server, Alex, was attentive and informative. I asked him to describe today's burrito special - ut wasnt on the menu. When I narrowed my decision down to two entrees, Alex's eyes lit up when I asked his opinion of my selections highly recommendeding the Carnitas and he was correct! The pork was flavorable, fork tender with crispie ends and minimal fat. Served with rice, beans, lettece, pico, sour cream and fresh tortillas. It was really good! I ordered a water but didnt care for the taste - I forgot Plain City water tasts like well water. SonInordered a horchata- also excellent! I requested verde salsa on the side. They didnt have a verde but I was offered a hot sauce. It came in a 2 ounce cup and I was charged $1.00. I paid the bill but I'm grumbling here. Hubs irdered a Spite and claims he noticed the well water in the mix but drank it all anyways. He ordered ground beef chiminchangas. Two small, fried flour tortilla served with Rice and beans, sour cream, lettece pico smothered in queso. Well seasoned but not spicy, the entree had good flavor. Chips and salsa were complimentary; the salsa was an explosion of complexity with great flavor. The chips were ok but to me to me tortilla chips are just a vehicle to get that yummy salaa in my mouth! We will be back! read more

We were in the area and looking for somewhere to grab dinner. Saw this place as the first option when we searched the internet and were not disappointed. Seating was pretty tight as they had a packed house, but the service was excellent. My quesabirria was SO good. Tender, flavorful meat and that consommé ... goodness, could've drank what was left, but didn't want to make a fool of myself. Our daughter said her tacos were just the right amount of spicy and sweet with delicious chicken. My husband said his seafood chimichanga was good - he rated it 8/10 as the seafood was very "fishy" tasting. We will definitely be making the 20 min. drive again soon. read more

Just so happy to have this new restaurant here in Plain City. We went today to try it out. First the service was beyond amazing. We were met, and talked to by 3 people before our server even came by. Love the young guy with the Ratatouille on his shoulder he brought good chips and very nice salsa. We ordered the lime chicken tacos, ribeye tacos, and I had the chile relleno and enchilada with verde sauce. Everyone agreed their food is so very good. The margaritas were good and full pours. I had the regular and my wife had the peach frozen. We went early and when we exited, the line to come in was long. Good news is that they said they have already purchased the store front nest to them so they can expand. They are going to need it. Go support this family!! read more

In all fairness my visit was two weeks after the grand opening. They were still experiencing high volumes of customers, and there were some lapses. Wait times for service once we were seated were quite lengthy, including the wait time to get our drinks and after two Reminders for an appetizer of cheese dip. The margarita was absolutely delicious and well prepared however, not your typical jumbo size margarita that you're accustomed to getting at other Mexican restaurants. It was just average size served in a glass just slightly larger than a martini glass. Price for the alcoholic beverages was average for the area. No draft beer options during my visit. The interior was well decorated, and although the staff was overwhelmed, they were very friendly and you can feel the warmth of the family owned business. Once the food came out, it was very tasty and portion sizes were good. Prices are higher than other Mexican restaurants in nearby towns. This restaurant is good for the area however, if you're willing to drive to the next town over, you will save money on food prices, but likely will not have the same quality. No doubt, however, this business will succeed due to their family atmosphere and hospitality. read more

Went there on a Tuesday evening. For a new restaurant they are doing great. Margaritas were tasty with fun flashy lights in them. The food and atmosphere was also really good with music playing and the lighting wasn't too bright as a lot of Mexican places are. We will be back! read more
