Good location close to all the shopping. Food is alright. Order at counter, and go sit down. But THE CONSTANT SCREAMING!!! I'm the only person in the place. And the staff are SCREAMING NONSTOP! I gobbled what I could and walked away. Never again.

Food was delicious! Very similar to CAVA so it was nice. Got the chicken avocado salad or something like that. Good fast casual, though a little more expensive than CAVA.

Mezeh Mediterranean Grill is easily my favorite spot in Hampton. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made exactly how you want it. The portions are solid, the sauces are next level, and it's better than some sit-down restaurants around here. 10/10 every time.

    Sultan's Choice mixed bowl

This is a fast casual restaurant. It uses the assembly line model to serve mediterranean salads, bowls and wraps. I got the Sultan's Choice mixed bowl, which comes with both chicken and beef shawarma. This was at the Peninsula Town Center in Hampton, Virginia, where there were tons of restaurant chains. But this seemed to be among the most healthy, as most of the others were burgers and fast food and pubs. Ingredients were fresh and there are ample topping options. Flavor left much to be desired. I didn't taste any of the garlicky deliciousness I'm accustomed to with shawarma. Adding a bit of salt helped but not much. Service was minimal.

I've been looking forward to trying this for a while and was a bit disappointed to have a Mediterranean restaurant that had no Gyro, So I ended up ordering a build a bowl and went with chicken with tzatziki, cucumbers, cabbage slaw and tabbouleh. Worst pita I've ever had seemed blah and under baked Somehow everything was just a tad bland which surprised me. Cute decor wide open but probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

I was taken to Mezeh by a frequent patron. It is set up like Chipotle with bowls that are filled with your choice of a variety of Mediterranean meats, greens, veggies salads toppings and sauces with basmati rice. My bowl and drink cost just over $15 plus tip. Drink offerings are various juices like berry watermelon, lemongrass berry and acai black tea. They were out of a popular mango juice. We got ours to go but grabbed a table. The meal also comes with warm pita bread. Several offerings have quite a bit of kick if you like spice. The upholstery on the seating could use some very serious deep cleaning. Other than that the industrial vibe is strong and well suited to the type of fare on offer. This eatery does one thing and does it well. It serves bowls of select Mediterranean food enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians, lovers of lamb, beef and chicken, and those who love an optional spicy kick. Moderately priced and quick service make this a pretty good place to enjoy some international flavor.

This place has gone down hill since opening. They're not only skimping on ingredients and charging extra if you ask for more but they're also selling burnt cookies.

The food and service was amazing! This place is a Mediterranean spin on subway/pieology/chipotle. Pick your greens and rice, protein, toppings and sauces. They have assorted flavors of teas and fruit drinks to pick from. Ambiance was Mediterranean inspired. almost all the seating was a booth or booth/chair combo. They had a couple high tops that sat large groups. This place is good for large groups.

    Receipt

I have only experienced door dash deliveries. The food is very different so it is refreshing. I love it!! I attached the receipt so you can see what we chose to include in our bowls and gyro. Very fresh food! Delicious!

Three months after my last review, niether water not ice remain available to customers. It defies belief that managers have not set up a self-serve urn of ice water. Otherwise good.

Came in to a pretty empty restaurant thought ok great service will be fast... nope! The server was ringing up another person look at me and my party then the party that came in after, she put some rice in a bowl and left. No "going on break someone will be with you" or nothing. Just left

Delicious bowl of joy. Never miss a chance to stop in here for a great Mediterranean option for a meal!

Fast and healthy food with plenty of choices for people as far as whether they want bowls, pita wraps, types of greens, toppings, crunchy seeds or nuts, sauces; vegetarians have a fanfare of choices at this place! I started off with a pita stuffed with arugula, spinach, shawarma chicken, cucumbers, eggplant, pickled onions, turkish salad (tastes like a pico de gallo), babba ganoush, and sesame seeds topped with tzatziki and harissa sauces. It started off so sodden that I had little hope of eating it without wearing it had it not been for Hub's donated empty bowl! Hub had chicken shawarma bowl and mixed greens with "assorted options " but the "cilantro lime vinaigrette " combined with "harissa " was the best for my spice loving man. Sadly the place had only one functioning restroom, only plastic forks and no other utensils, and ran out of bowls.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best Indian food I've ever had! I've eaten my fair…read moreshare of Indian food in several states and Canada and this was the best, most authentic food I've had. We arrived around 8pm and were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't completely full but that soon changed with several families coming in right after us. The restaurant is on the smaller side, clean and decorated well. We went on a Saturday night and ordered off of their special weekend menu. We definitely over ordered. There were 3 of us and we had enough leftovers for a full meal the next day. We ordered the masala cheese dosai, butter chicken, nalli gosht biryani and malai lamb chops. The nalli gosht is the goat shank biryani, we got the order for 2 people, it comes with 2 goat shanks on a mountain of fluffy fragrant basmati rice. The goat was tender falling off the bone, seasoned to perfection in a spicy masala paste/sauce. We got it at level one spice but it tasted spicer. We didn't mind because the spice just added to the flavor. It was so good! We also got the usual butter chicken which turned out to be not so usual because like everything else we tried, the spice combo and depth of flavor just turned it up several notches. The masala cheese dosai was a great start to the meal and was fun to eat with our hands. The lamb chops were a last minute addition and so worth it. The chops were cooked perfectly in a flavorful sauce and served with a veggie slaw. Overall, we LOVED everything we tried and would definitely recommend Biryani Hub. The only suggestion we have would be to serve cold water or offer ice. Our waiter brought a bottle of water to the table with glasses but the water was more room temp. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Biryani Hub Delivers a Flavorful Introduction to Authentic Indian Cuisine…read more I finally made my way to Biryani Hub for lunch, conveniently located at 5745 Virginia Beach Boulevard, tucked just behind the Waffle House. For weekday diners, the restaurant offers a smart selection of combination platters--an ideal entry point for anyone looking to explore a range of traditional Indian dishes in a single sitting. I chose the Chicken Platter ($15), which features three distinct preparations, two generously sized pieces of naan, and a dessert to round out the meal. It's a well-structured offering that balances variety with portion size. The standout was the Chicken Dum (bone-in), prepared in the traditional dum style--slow-cooked and sealed to lock in flavor. The result is deeply aromatic, rich, and layered in a way that feels unmistakably royal. This is not rushed food; it's deliberate, composed, and worthy of the word "luxury." Equally impressive was the Special Chicken (boneless)--tender pieces marinated in a proprietary blend of spices, then cooked with fragrant basmati rice in layered fashion. Each bite carried trapped aromas that unfolded gradually, delivering both depth and balance without overwhelming the palate. One detail worth noting: the clearly defined spice scale (1-7). I selected level 4, labeled "Indian Mild." While approachable, it still carried a noticeable heat--enough to remind you that you're experiencing authentic seasoning rather than a toned-down version. Too often, restaurants rely on heat for its own sake--spice without structure. That's not the case here. At Biryani Hub, the heat is deliberate, built into layered flavor profiles that are difficult to fully describe and far better experienced firsthand. What stood out most was the depth of flavor across the board. Each dish brought its own identity, with spices working in harmony rather than competing for attention. For those already familiar with Indian cuisine--or anyone curious to step into it--Biryani Hub is a worthwhile stop. It's the kind of place that rewards exploration while supporting a local business doing things the right way.
