Great different culinary experience! Fast efficient service. Good for dine in or take out. Will return for sure!

This is the worst Mezeh ever! A few months ago I came here and was the first customer. Everything looked like the night crew did no cleaning. Food on floor, dining area nasty. Still I come again because I was in the area. Same thing today. Everything dirty. Had to wait for falafel to be made. After making my bowl, they had no lemon garlic dressing. Pita bread was crunchy like a cookie. They had no ice for my drink. I will never come again. This is why I go to CAVA. I will be calling corporate tomorrow. read more

Really enjoyed my first visit here. At first I was a little confused because I had to look up the menu online to know how to order because there are no signs anywhere that I saw however once I told the guy it was my first time he gave me some great suggestions and the food taste amazing. I definitely will visit again read more

I really wanted to love this place and thought it sounded so promising, but was disappointed. First, if there are this many options for toppings, a restaurant's got to have suggested pairings! Otherwise it's chaos (and will likely lead to more orders that people are disgruntled with.) Second, the actual food was kinda disappointing. The hummus and baba ghanoush and chicken shawarma were mediocre and lacked punch. For the crispy toppings, the pita chips were soaked in oil and not crunchy at all. The crispy chickpeas on the other hand were completely overcooked and way too hard. Sauces except the tzatziki also disappointing. If the food was slightly better, I would come back and try the falafel, but I really have zero reason to give it another shot. read more

Ok ok. It's chipotle with a Mediterranean vibe. There were lots of new items to try. My bowl actually was good even though I tried lots of new things and mixtures. They will not let you down with vegetarian options and new spices for your palate. One thing though, is it supposed to be cold? read more

I love mezeh! It's a good price for all the food. The eggplant is my favorite. They have a lot of options.

Came in at a slow period, the staff was nice, the restaurant clean. There are plenty of options for whatever Mediterranean combination you desire. My food combination turned out delicious. The lamb was nice and spicy, the chicken perfectly cooked. I will definitely be returning! read more

Love, love Mezeh. The food is fresh, delicious, and healthy. My go to place for lunch and dinner!!!

Why can't we have more places like Mezeh! I visited for lunch with my sister while I was visiting town with her and fell in love with this place. I love the concept of creating your own meal with their large variety of toppings and veggies. I ordered the bowl which is only $9.75 and let me tell you its a value! You choose your base, I got mixed greens, arugula, and quinoa. Then I choose the shredded lamb as my meat and it was so tender. They also have chicken, flafel, and steak for other options. After you choose your meat then comes the fun part. You get to add whatever other toppings you want to the bowl. I did their salad mix, picked turnips, roasted veggies, eggplant, and topped it off with tzatziki sauce. After adding all of my toppings the bowl was full and was a large portion. Everything was so flavorful and I was happy that I was able to take a good amount home that I couldn't finish. I also really enjoyed their fresh juices with my meal. A great place for a flavorful and healthy meal. read more

The pita bread here is the best, fluffiest, most delicious pita. Easy to use online ordering system and endless options!

Dining at Mezeh on a Sunday afternoon involves a really long wait time, but the food is really good!

Food was awesome! It was my first time eating at an establishment like this. Server allowed me to try whatever I ask to sample. If you are looking for a healthy but filling meal this is where you should go. I will be back. read more

I did not know that this place existed and I'm so happy it does!!!!! It may seem overwhelming at first, but you'll be glad you stopped in. They have an array of sauce options, can choose between a bowl and gyro, multiple choices of meats and endless topping options! I tried it and fell I love. Cant wait to go back. They need on Newport News!!! read more

My meal when i went the first time was fresh and very tasty and the portions were ok also! Haven't been back yet but will go again

This spot has a nice look and great location with parking. The process is pretty self explanatory like a chipotle. The food is solid. I got a bowl with spicy lamb 9.75 & chicken kebab +3.50 with a drink +2.50. A good place but it probably won't be a regular place for me to have lunch alone. With tax $18 is too much for this. It's good though so give it a try. read more

We are here before without an issue however, this time when we walked through the door there were no visible menus and it looked dirty so we left and went to another restaurant. Normally the food is good but I couldn't get passed how dirty it looked! read more

It's been such a long time since I've been compelled to write a review. I'm glad I had to come out to the peninsula for something work related because I may have never gotten the chance to eat here. The food is healthy and satisfies my temporary vegetarian tastebuds (Lent purposes only...might go vegetarian for the longterm though--stay tuned). I got the half and half vegetarian bown with some good fixings such as Israeli couscous, falafel, cilantro hummus, etc. Acty this place reminds me a lot of my beloved but now seemingly closed Zoe's kitchen but it allows you to customize your experience. The price? Some may think its pricy but that is the rising cost of eating healthy and getting fresh, made from scratch (according to their claim). It tastes pretty good. I can't say for sure if I will be back...only because I don't live anywhere near this side of the Peninsula or really work here. But, I do see they are opening one in Suffolk, closer to me, so when they open I will definitely visit that location. But don't let that stop you. It's good food, for what I think is a good price. Oh and the customer service is definitely worth mentioning. Five stars to the service team for their courtesy and patience to a first timer. read more

Food was delicious. Restaurant very clean. Employees less than energetic. I would have given 5 stars except for that

I had a fantastic lunch here today. I am so happy to find a restaurant with such fresh, healthy, and delicious ingredients. The staff was friendly and helpful as they made my veggie bowl. I look forward to coming back often and will definitely tell my friends about it. read more

My husband and I decided hey why not try something new. We walked in and it smelled delightful and was giving us chipotle vibes. We ordered our food and got the pineapple mango drink and sat down. Us being excited to dig in we went for it and looked at one another....WHERE IS THE SEASONING ????? The food tasted like nothing literally nothing just bland at this point I'm like well I smell the seasoning so where is it so we continue to eat it to finally decide that it was flat out bland. Now we try our drinks and I'm like ok pineapple and mango oh this is going to be good...boy was I wrong. It taste like soap. The pita bread was good though but no thank you. read more

Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff, and clean dining area. The price was well worth a quick but healthy lunch. I gave them 4 stars because they were out of a few things I wanted to try. Overall, great experience and I will be going back. read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time today. It tasted really good & fresh! I love that their drinks are also non-GMO, no sugar added, etc. read more

There are a bunch of kids working here. They don't package well and the lamb is ALWAYS undercooked when I order. When I get anything delivered without fail they always forget to add side drinks and or bread which I pay for!! don't waste your money or time on this place. I've had enough. read more

This is essentially a Mediterranean style Chipotle. Which is awesome! I ate lunch here 4 times in a week, it was always good, the service was good and the prices are good. They have a great selection of meats and all kinds of different vegetable medleys. I really enjoyed! read more

First time I ordered food they were just opened. Of course they were great. After 5 orders to go, they were going down. Price went up like $2, the meats were tough, they tasted like leftovers, and the baklava (I loved it so much) was not that good Anymore. :( read more

This place is good and filling. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to visit again.

A healthy version of Chipotle. Drinks are healthy too. Not to expensive. Plenty of seating. The staff is very helpful on what to eat read more

By far one of my favorite restaurants! Delicious fresh food with a wonderful variety of choices; I could eat there every day except the portions are so generous theres always enough leftover for tomorrowClean environment, friendly staff, and reasonable prices this place is a winner, highly recommended. read more

This is literally the mediterranean version of Chipotle but better... after reading the reviews I decided to go here today on my lunch break for the first time. Luckily there was no line & I went with the pita pocket. I got the vegetarian option that wasn't the falafel but can't remember exactly what it was called.. i was only able to put 2 toppings because the lady with an incredibly rude attitude stuffed it with so much rice. I should've asked to get it remade but being on my lunch break I was in a rush. 4 out of 5 stars due to the 1 rude lady on staff. Next time i'll also be sure to go easy on the rice so I can actually get the toppings i'd enjoy. read more

I tried this location around two weeks ago, it was really good. All of the ingredients were very fresh, I ordered a chicken wrap, the portion size was nice, I would definitely return. The workers were friendly and didn't mind adding a little more ingredients if you request it. read more

The most amazing food I have tried in Virginia. Really knocked my socks off. I recommend bowl with steak and every single topping. I mean honestly you can't go wrong with anything here. The fresh pita bread will make you feel at home. read more

Lots of different choices for Mediterranean food! It's a neopolitan type place, meaning you pick whatever you want in your bowl/pita from a choice line. These place I tend to go overboard because of all the choices. I ordered the white rice, with chopped lamb, spiced beef, spicy feta cheese, garlic oregano hummus, some roasted eggplant and other vegetables. The surprising part was that, while eating my bowl I can differentiate all the flavors. With a piece of pita bread that came with the bowl, I was able to clear my taste palette and boom, another flavor in each bite. No complaints, the food was awesome, service was good, and the choices were plentiful. The staff was very nice as well. Will come back again when I want some Mediterranean food. read more

Went to Mezeh this week for diner. Not crowded. Food didn't seem as fresh as I'm used to but still good. May have just been a fluke.

Food is good but management needs to do a better job in cleaning. Counters, floor, and windows are dirty. Floors need to be swept and mopped. read more

Yo straight up this place is wackkkk! Every time I go they always run out of sauces and toppings. They are under staffed and have attitudes. CAVA in Virginia Beach is wayyyyyyyyy better! read more

I frequent Mezeh in Richmond and have always had a great experience. Great food, well stocked and good service. The Hampton Mezeh is the worst. They never have food prepared, most items are missing especially In the evening because the kids working want to close and don't want to prepare food. Whoever the owners and managers, they need to be onsite to see how this store is being run down by poor staff. Also the staff need to clean the tables and dump the trash in their down time. I'm disappointed that kids/people who look like me don't take pride in their work and are running this place into the ground. read more

Amazing! I love Turkish and Lebanese food. Think of this like the Mediterranean version of Chipotle, only waaaaay better. The hummus was fresh and simply beautiful. The salads were outstanding! Get the bowl, because you won't have room for everything you'll want to sample on a pita. I'll be back again this week! read more

while I understand being busy, having a long line, etc., the service here was less than suboptimal and I'll never go back. I was ignored and the entire time I was being helped, it felt like I was bothering the store rep. I was good to ignore the behavior, but I get home and the bowl was not good either. read more

This is like a healthy Mediterranean Chiplote chain that offers really good food. One time the lamb balls were a touch undercooked but on average this is a legit lunch spot with healthy options to get your gun on. I'll repeat when feeling like I need some lunch with out leaving feeling like a fatty. Great place! read more

I mean...how can you go wrong, really? This is what we've been missing in Hampton Roads. Its pretty much the same thing as CAVA. A Mediterranean Chipotle, if you will and I love it! I recommend living dangerously and trying a little of all the toppings. read more
