In preparation for the construction, he referred us to a structural engineer who sought out the least invasive approach, which resulted in happier residents and a lower cost during the construction phase of the project. I highly recommend Ed as a contractor.

We hired Precision Finish Remodeling to redo both our backyard patio and front entrance, and…read moreoverall it was a really good experience! The first project - the backyard patio was done with tile, and the results turned out great. The space feels much more polished and functional now, and you can tell the work was thought through. They handled the grading really well. There is a slight slope that you don't notice when walking, but it allows water to drain off efficiently without any pooling. The tile work itself is clean, with consistent spacing and neat edges. They also installed the railing properly, and it feels sturdy and well aligned, giving a great a finished look to the area. Overall, it just feels like a well-executed upgrade that will hold up over time. The second project - for the front entrance, they installed pavers and took their time working through the details. There were existing irrigation lines in that area, and instead of rushing through it, they carefully located and capped the sprinklers so everything remained intact and neat. We also had some drainage issues before the remodel, and they addressed that by installing two drains, which has already made a noticeable difference. We wanted to keep our Magnolia tree untouched, and they were mindful of that while prepping and laying the pavers. They also worked with us on adding turf along the edges, and the final result looks natural and well integrated with the rest of the space. Pedro Leme, the project manager, was easy to communicate with and responsive when we had questions or small changes. One thing that stood out was how carefully materials were managed. Everything was used thoughtfully with very little waste. We did end up with some extra materials, and Pedro even helped return them to the store as a favor, which we really appreciated. Windson and the crew were professional, showed up on time, and kept the work area reasonably clean throughout the project. Windson in particular was very friendly, accommodating, and clearly pays attention to the small details, which made a difference in how smoothly everything came together. There were a couple of minor adjustments along the way (as with most projects), but they were addressed without much hassle. Pricing felt fair for the scope of work, especially considering the level of detail they paid attention to. Overall, we're really happy with how everything turned out! We would definitely consider using them again for other projects.

Francisco ordered a chimney cap within my budget and his team reconstructed the chimney so we are now water safe. It took awhile due to back ordering of the cap, plus had to wait out all the rain (which went on and on and ON), but he was very communicative giving updates via text periodically. He charged me less than what he estimated in the end due to the delays and also the actual job taking less time than expected, which was much appreciated. His two crew guys were very friendly as well, I was out gardening the day they installed and they even offered to help me shovel mulch (they could see I was struggling - LOL). Overall a nice experience with Arriaga Masonry.

We selected Rangel Concrete to build a new retaining wall and steps in our backyard. We reviewed…read moremultiple contractors, arranged site visits, and received 4 bids.  When we got the bid and schedule from Rangel, they were our first choice. We are happy to report that Rangel was the right choice.  We needed to replace a cracking, root-ravaged cinder-block 30+ feet long, 5' 3" tall retaining wall and steps leading up to our terraced backyard. We had engineered plans for a cast concrete wall.  We need a contractor interested in working with the plans and the city. Our meeting with Rangel gave us confidence that they understood the project and would be pleasant to work with. They provided a very competitive bid and were available to start the project in time to ensure that it was completed by the end of summer. Some contractors would not commit to a timeframe or estimated that it would take more time to complete than seemed reasonable.  Francisco and his crew began work at 7:00 each morning and worked hard the entire day with just one much needed lunch break. Rangel had all the necessary equipment for this sizable project. They removed the old wall and dirt, dug a new trench, installed rebar, stirrups, ties, drain rock, waterproof membrane, built forms for the new cast concrete wall, etc. The site was kept as clean as possible.  Francisco was very pleasant to work with. He persistent and creative in bringing the plans to life with forms and rebar. He made useful suggestions, was very communicative, and was clearly committed to the outcome. Maria kept us up to date, communicated well with the city inspector, and was delightful to work with. We recommend Rangel Concrete highly.

We hired Abraham and his team for a full bathroom renovation, tile work, and demolition of our loft…read morearea, and we're already planning to hire them again for additional projects around our home. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences we've ever had working with a contractor. From start to finish, Abraham and his team were reliable, professional, incredibly detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about the quality of their work. The finished bathroom turned out beautifully--even better than we had hoped--and we've received countless compliments from family and friends. In fact, one of our guests was so impressed that they are now planning to hire Abraham and his team to remodel their own bathrooms. What sets Abraham and his team apart is not just the final result, but the way they manage the entire project from beginning to end. Abraham was always easy to reach and communicated with us throughout the project. The team arrived at the same time every day, worked a full day, and kept the project moving steadily from start to finish. That kind of consistency made the renovation process much less stressful and gave us confidence that the project was always progressing. His team is clearly hardworking and highly skilled, but they are also respectful, thoughtful, and a pleasure to have in your home. The quality of their work was outstanding. Abraham and his team are meticulous, and it is obvious they take great pride in what they do. Nothing ever felt rushed or simply "good enough." They paid attention to every detail and approached the project as if they were working on their own home. That level of craftsmanship is difficult to find, and it truly showed in the finished product. The bathroom looks beautiful, polished, and far exceeded our expectations. One thing we especially appreciated was how accommodating the team was whenever we made changes or added items along the way. Renovation projects almost always evolve once they are underway, and Abraham's team handled every request with patience and flexibility. They were always willing to discuss options, make adjustments, and find the best solution. At no point did they make us feel like we were asking for too much--they simply wanted the finished result to be exactly what we envisioned. This wasn't the only project we've trusted them with. Abraham's team also completed demolition work in our loft area and tile work in another part of our home. One example really stood out to us. We were perfectly happy selecting the first tile we found, but Abraham's team wasn't satisfied until they found the best possible match. They visited multiple tile stores, compared numerous samples, and searched through many pieces of tile until they found one that blended almost perfectly with our existing flooring. Today, no one can tell the difference. That level of craftsmanship, patience, and attention to detail is incredibly rare. It's clear that Abraham has built a team that holds itself to an exceptionally high standard. They also treated our home with great respect throughout the entire process. They worked carefully, kept the work areas clean, and always cleaned up before leaving each day. Anyone who has been through a renovation knows how much of a difference that makes. At the end of the day, the biggest thing we can say is that we trust Abraham completely. He and his team do exceptional work, are dependable, communicate well, and genuinely care about delivering the highest-quality finished product. We would hire them again without hesitation--in fact, we're already moving forward with another project. If you're looking for a contractor who is skilled, trustworthy, meticulous, and genuinely invested in delivering outstanding work, we wholeheartedly recommend Abraham and his team without hesitation. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we look forward to working with them again on future projects.
