This is the only place that makes this dish and it is so good. Love the Mango margarita too.

I was very hesitant to try this place due to the reviews. But I decided to give it a try with a delivery service on a Sunday Football night. I ordered the wings with lemon pepper and a queso dip. Their chips were not my favorite brcause I prefer them softer. The queso dip was vey good, it didn't get thick and gross while getting cold. It kept a nice silky texture. The wings were super meaty. The seasoning was not overpowering and the BBQ sauce on the side had a great smoky flavor. The jalapeño poppers were still crunchy when they arrived and they were not too spicy. I used Dinner Delivered app, the food took less than an hour to arrive, it was extremely well packaged, the order was exactly as I requested it. It was still really nice and warm when I sat it on the table too so this was a double win! Delicious and fast. I have not been at the location in person but this experience tells me their food is very well prepared, flavorful, not greasy, definitely would like to go try more of their menu items.

Since relocating from Memphis, I've been trying to find a wing place that satisfies me. In Memphis, we use WHOLE wings for hot wings, usually for the SAME exact price as the party wings Chattanooga sells for about $2 a piece. Mexi Wings exceeded my expectations. I don't even care that the wings are party wings. I order 15 or 20 Extra Hot wings with Lemon Pepper seasoning on top! They're absolutely amazing! The wings are always fully cooked. They're always a nice size for party wings. I make mine extra wet because the sauce is just amazing. I use Door Dash when ordering. I've done delivery and pick up, and it's been consistent each time! When I went to pick it up, I actually liked the environment. It's tucked away in a shopping center-like location, but the inside is like a sports bar scenery. Gonna ask if it can be rented out for my graduation. Lol. The PRICE is amazing compared to the rest of Chattanooga. Very affordable for the amount of wings you do get. The only con is that fries don't accompany the wings. Not something to lose a start over, because the wings overshadow

I've been craving tamales in the WORST way!! I haven't eaten at many Mexican places in the area but this one had good reviews and an extensive menu at reasonable prices, so I thought I'd check it out. I had trouble finding it because the sign wasn't lit and when I walked in there was one table full and one guy at the bar. Not a great sign, but it's Tuesday, so I sat down. It took a few minutes to get chips and salsa and a few more for the waiter to get to me. I have to say, their salsa is like a spicy tomato sauce. Not much flavor except tomato and heat. Not good. The waiter takes my drink order and brings it, then asks for my food order. I order a chicken fajita quesadilla and 2 tamales. NO TAMALES!! Well, there goes my craving fulfillment. I changed my order to the marinated chicken chimichanga and queso. The queso was pretty good, but standard. The chimichanga was pretty good, as was the rice and beans, but it was supposed to include sour cream and guacamole. There was maybe a tablespoon of each. Not nearly enough for a chimichanga since I like sour cream and guac with each bite. My waiter was good and the reason for the 3rd star. I still want tamales!!

Industrial floor cleaner aroma while you eat? A given. Asked to sit in a certain section but was told it was unavailable due to mopping--only to watch a couple and a Latin family get seated there minutes later. This has happened more than once, and it's hard not to notice the pattern. Drinks? $3.99 across the board, from fountain soda to Jarritos. To-go orders come with a "convenience" fee. Tip with a card? Another surcharge, and the servers don't even get those tips directly. Pizza: worth the hype. Everything else? A mess, literally and figuratively.

Parking is pretty decent for the area, with at least one handicapped space right in front of the entrance door. Walking in was surprisingly cozy, with wood on the walls and muted colors for the seating. We were greeted on entry and seated quickly. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. Our waitress left menus and took our drink order as we sat down. The menu is rather extensive. The primary cuisine is Mexican, but they also offer traditional recipe pizzas as well as chicken wings. Many dishes are cooked in a wood fired oven. Our drinks came quickly, and we still needed time to make our selections. After a few more minutes, our waitress returned and we placed our orders. We did not receive any salsa and chips for the table, which was a bit surprising for a Mexican restaurant. We decided to order their homemade guacamole to start. The appetizer came out in maybe five minutes. The portion was much smaller than expected, and the guacamole was bland. It needed a good addition of both salt and garlic to improve the flavor. In addition, the chips were straight from the bag, without even being warmed. The food took about ten minutes or so to be brought to the table. The Pollo a la lena is two wood fired pieces of chicken, along with salad, refried beans, and rice. It also comes with your choice of wheat or corn tortillas. The chicken was tender and juicy, very well spiced with additional flavor from the wood oven. The refried beans are not the typical gray mush but actually have noticeable black beans. The rice was typical, but included corn, peas, and carrot pieces for additional flavor. The salad included crisp lettuce and diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos. The corn tortillas are made in house and compared well to the other components of the dish. I would absolutely order this outstanding dish again. The pollo loco was another good dish. The ratio of chicken to rice was good, and the amount of cheese was less than typical, which allowed more of the other flavors to come through. The asada torta was also good. The ingredients were plentiful compared to the bread, and everything seemed fresh and very flavorful. Even the french fries were well made. The chimichanga was the least liked dish, but still tasted good. It was prepared well and had a nice cheese topping. On it's own it would be a good choice, only suffering in comparison to the other outstanding dishes. One word of caution: the salsa accompanying the pollo a la lena and the torta is surprisingly spicy. The heat is deceptive, coming on slowly and lingering awhile. Although I was surprised at first taste, I included it in every bite of chicken, so it is addictive. Based on this visit, I definitely want to try more options from the menu, especially the pizzas.

They apologized and gave me a few more to compensate. The service stations have large whole wings. So I've not been back in years. I saw the sign which read gizzard & livers, cooked to order. My husband said he'd like a small order of wings. I warned him but, he said maybe they've gotten better. Well, on Mon & Tues wings are .69cent ea, ordered 10. I ordered livers for $6.99. We received our order. There was a small container with 10 wings. A large one with my livers. But, before that we paid our bill, which also asked if we wanted to leave a tip. My bill was $15 so I didn't leave a tip. Well, after a few minutes we received our order. A few wings looked like they had been cooked that morning or leftover from Sat night. Check out the pictures. I asked that my livers not be over cooked. Well they were. I would've gone back for a refund but my husband didn't want to go back & deal with it. So, this is what I'm telling you, don't know if it was due to us not leaving a tip or what. But, this was the last time I'll ever get anything from Heavenly Wings.
