This place is Amazing. I was ordering food to go, so I was only in the restaurant for about 15 minutes. I love the way it looked, smelled, and ultimately tasted, and the service was very pleasant. The Pollo Rico I ordered was very good. So good, in fact, that I was stuffed but could not stop eating. I'm really looking forward to my next visit to Tennessee so I can try something else from the menu.

Large menu and quick service. Our food came out well before we made it through the chips. Chips were fresh, food was hot. Enchiladas Suizas had a nice level of spice. Would eat here again.

The service and the waiter checked back in a few times during the meal. The food was authentically prepared. The salad verde was perfectly spicy!

In town for a conference and decided to check out this restaurant based on other positive reviews. First impressions were that it was clean, staff appeared committed & organized, and I was seated quickly, opting for a solo stool at the bar since I was by myself and didn't want to take up a booth or table. The server/bartender delivered chips & salsa and got me started with a beer right away. The menu was robust and easy to navigate, but I did ask a few questions and they were able to help me with no language barrier. I ordered the Enchiladas Supreme, with three different varieties (chicken, beef, and cheese), and it was delivered quickly, with great presentation, and tasted great. I was happy the person delivering the food warned me about the plate being hot, but I was most impressed that multiple people, not just my server, checked on me to make sure I had everything I needed, or whether I wanted an additional beer. I left with a full stomach and no heartburn over the price. Would definitely recommend this establishment if you're in the area and enjoy Mexican cuisine.

I come to Chattanooga here and there for work and this is one of my favorite spots to eat!! the customer service is great, the food is delicious and always fresh!! they serve complimentary chips and salsa as well. I always get the fajita chicken and steak quesadilla w/ rice and it's delicious every time!! i would highly recommend!

per usual im always craving a yummy mexican spot! so we looked up good spots on yelp and it brought us here! We sat at the bar, i don't remember our bartenders name but we are more than sure he was in training or fairly new, seemed like he was in the weeds going back and forth to tables and then to us most of the time, in more of a panic / rush state but that's okay we've all been there!! (i'm a server/bartender so i have sympathy for it!) drinks were okay, i ordered a spicy jalapeño margarita and my boyfriend ordered a top shelf margarita. mine wasn't really spicy (but that may just be me i'm a sucker for some spicy margs LOL) but more of on the sweet side and so was my boyfriends margarita. He gave his a 6/10 i gave mine a 7/10 but it wasn't too bad so we stuck with it, but our food , OH BOY, our food was AMAZING. I ordered a side of rice , extra pico and sour cream and 2 out there spicy sauces habanero and el verde sauces (not pictured) but oh my i ate EVERYTHING UP , i almost choked while eating because i was eating so fast HAHA, and took the rest for leftovers. So so SO good, i highly recommend coming here, it's a little hidden in the plaza so you gotta keep a lookout for it, but the place is fun, very welcoming hosts and staff members , they helped out our bartender and got us things we needed and made sure we were happy when our bartender was struggling a bit, love to see the teamwork!! To what i saw at the bar, the place was pretty clean and organized, made me feel good about eating there when i noticed that because that's a big thing for me, but give this place a shot coming back here for sure!!

Don't let the 4 star fool you. The staff is friendly, nicely decorated dining room, clean and good lunch value. Chips were fresh and salsa was good, not overwhelmingly spicy. Two of us had the lunch shrimp chimi served with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. Comes with a side of beans. The chimi has sautéed onions and peppers with queso on top. My husband loved it, but I thought the onions and peppers were burnt. He calls it charred. That's just not my thing. Good portion size with a nice amount of shrimp. Beans were delicious!! My mother had the 1/2 poblano served with rice and beans. She really enjoyed hers other than the rice a little dry. Overall a good meal at a good price.

We had our two young girls and they were very understanding and accommodating (high chair and coloring sheets). The menu is interesting but to be honest, we enjoyed almost none of our items. The cocktails were very meh. Not awful but not great. The food is really where this place lacks in my opinion. No one was a fan of almost any dish we got. The puffy tacos with redfish were likely the worst. Under seasoned and close to being gross. The catfish dish was so so. The fish itself was good but the grits were hard and the green tomatoes were so sour that they overpowered everything else. The ribs tried but I'd suggest going to a legit BBQ joint for real meats like this. The potatoes were greasy and mostly bland. I'd rank this our least favorite meal in the city. Interestingly enough. We were just at a Michelin star restaurant less than a week before and had the complete opposite experience.

Upon arrival, a friendly host found us comfortable booth seating behind the bar. The waitress not only answered our food allergy related questions pertaining to certain dish prep but the manager came over to our table to assure us that she would be double checking our order to make sure there was no allergen cross contamination. Such a kind, thoughtful gesture! Mom and I ordered the sampler to split - a huge tray filed with delish gluten free chips, a delish bowl salsa verde, a delish bowl of homemade guacamole, and a delish bowl of homemade cheese sauce. For my lunch, I got two of my favorite tacos on their menu still, the California Club ones, large tacos filled with roasted chicken, a tasty like crema, and avocado. Not as hungry as I, Mom got an Oy Vey Taco, another longstanding goodie, a brisket based taco, which she enjoyed. Our later than planned Wednesday lunch was perfect.

It took a while for a server to see us, but then it was fast to get our drinks as well as food once orders were placed. Tacos were alright, Cali club was messy & drippy. Homeboy was good but I don't think I'd get the spicy version again - not overly spice just overly sauced. The appetizer trio was good, but seemed expensive at $14. Overall the place is nice, but a little expensive for tacos.

The bathrooms are always clean, which I appreciate. Paid street parking is usually easy to find, though during busy hours it can take a little more time. The veggie fajitas are an absolute treat and full of flavor. The guacamole is fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the salsa is truly top notch. One of the most delightful surprises is that the churros are vegan, and they are unforgettable. The Papillón dish is especially meaningful. It can be made vegan and comes from the owner's grandmother's recipe in Guatemala. That personal touch really shines through and makes the menu feel inspired and unique. There used to be a young blonde male bartender who was hands down one of the best servers I have ever had. He was personable and somehow remembered both your order and your conversations even months later. That level of hospitality really stood out. Prices are not cheap, and the ingredients are not explicitly organic, but the quality, flavor, and thoughtful menu make it well worth it. Highly recommend if you are looking for consistently great food and a standout dining experience in Chattanooga.
