Very highly recommended. I had a difficult situation -- a contractor who was working on my house stole my key. I had to have all of the locks rekeyed asap, for fear of him coming back and getting into my house. I called Metrolocks at about 7:00 that evening, and they had a guy at my house at 8:30 the next morning (wow!). We had our front door lock re-keyed and cleaned up. The front door lock was aways sticking and wouldn't lock and unlock with a key. The locksmith showed up on time, and was in contact with us right up to the appointment. He was fast and thorough. Re-keyed the lock and gave us duplicate keys. Front door lock works great now. John from metrolocks was great! I had locks for my new house rekeyed- the whole process was really easy and affordable.

We moved into a house that has a sliding glass door as the rear exit. The house also has a rear detached garage, but we couldn't leave out the back door since there was no way to lock the slider from the outside. Every time we left the house, we had to go out the front and walk around (through the grass/snow) to the garage, which was super annoying. They sell kits at Home Depot to add an exterior key lock to sliders but they didn't fit this door, and another locksmith also tried and failed. Amir came a total of three times and ordered new parts in between each visit to get it to work. He was so friendly and professional and determined to get it right. In the end, he only charged us the original quote even though it turned out to be way more complicated than expected and took three visits. He said he was grateful that he could keep coming back to get it to work and learn how to fix this unique challenge, which is why they honored the original (very reasonable!) quote. I highly recommend him and Metrolocks, and will definitely use them in the future for any other locksmith services I need. read more

Metrolocks is great! They communicate with upfront pricing via Yelp and email in a quick manner. There's no need for a phone call to talk about what you need... unless things are complicated then they'd probably need to get you on the phone. I was able to set my schedule right then. Once the tech came in, John and I talked about what I need done. Before he got started, he told me the cost of the tasks so I was aware of it already. Even via Yelp, they already told me that there might be extra cost if the tech needed to change the drilling. I love that they're very honest with their pricing, and as a customer, you wouldn't be shocked about the cost after the job is done. I can tell they're super honest because after John had installed my smart lock, he asked me if I still wanted to get the other two locks installed. He was aware that the only reason why I wanted to install the other two locks is so I can get my smart lock installed. They're very knowledgeable, John found a way to get my smart lock in to my existing deadbolt that shouldn't normally work for that smart lock. And again, super honest... John could've charged me more by installing the other two locks but I clearly didn't need it. They really do look out for their customers! He was even willing to stay until I get my smart lock installed on my app to make sure my smart lock is working. I told him he can go since I didn't know how long until my app finish downloading but I'm happy that he was willing to stay to ensure he got the job done correctly. He even said I can call if anything is wrong and he can fix it for free. John did an exceptional job to ensure that everything is working smoothly and correctly on my new lock. Really makes the customer feel at ease! John is also very friendly. They saved me money off of those two locks installations, and I was even able to return those to the store! They might have lost extra money for those two locks but they gained a new customer forever. I will be using them for all my locksmith and keys services need from now on. I don't know if they install doors too but if they do, I would definitely be using them for that as well! I will recommend them to everyone I know in the area as well so they can gain more customers.
