Absolutely the best! I had called Barry based on the reviews and was extremely happy with the service I received. Barry is willing to do what it takes. I had an interesting situation, my work backpack was stolen out of my rental car in another state. Lost everything including the only key fob to my 17' Prius V. It is a work vehicle and was parked at Sky Harbor parking garage (also lost my parking ticket). Barry was able to meet me when my plane landed with a brand new key fob, everything worked perfect. Because this situation was quite interesting, I first called the dealership and they told me I had to have the car on-site at the dealer. This was not gonna happen. Thanks a lot Toyota! Responsive and reliable. I wanted to install new wireless keypad locks in two doors to be keyed the same. I thought I might be able to install the locks myself but then they wouldn't have the same back up key so I reached out. Roni responded with a very reasonable estimate quickly. Walking through my home I remembered that I have another door where the deadbolt hadn't worked in over a decade (assume due to house settling). I added that to my list of work. I sent him the locks I intended to order and when they arrived the next day I texted him. He called and came over within hours - again, this wasn't an emergency. It turns out I couldn't have installed them myself because the opening for the old locks and what the new needed weren't the same. Roni installed them all and keyed them the same. I recently purchased a used truck from dealership. The truck only came with one key. No remotes and the additional keys I needed are chipped. I reached out to the dealership for the remotes. They wanted $104 per remote and $125 for the programming. That's over $300 without additional keys. I was going to do it, but I decided to check around first. I found Barry "The Lock Guyz". This afternoon I was about to leave my house and forgot to grab my work bag, so I ran inside and kept my car running because I knew it would only take a few seconds to grab it, when I returned to my car all the doors were locked with the keys inside the ignition with the car still running. I was very worried and nervous because I didn't have a spare key and I didn't know what they needed to do in order to get my car unlocked because I never had to deal with this issue before. I found this company on yelp and called them, within 15 minutes of my call a gentleman arrived and 3 minutes later he had unlocked my car and only charged me $85. I was extremely impressed how fast they got to my house, how quickly he was able to unlock my car, and on top of that the price especially because it was on a Sunday! Getting locked out of your car is funny only if it happens to one of your friends and then you can make fun of them. But believe me, it sucked when I locked my car keys on Mill Av on a Thursday night. Encouraged by friends I didn't care too much about my car until it was 1:30 and I realized that I needed that car to go to work the next morning and I did not have any spare keys. He was able to come out the very next day, and even called ahead to see if it was okay to arrive early (yes, please!). Fast, reliable and honest! I called about 20 locksmiths after I left the keys in my vehicle, to try to get exact quotes and Gabriel was only 1 of 2 (out of the 20) that actually gave me an exact quote. All the others told me there was a base fee, plus a service fee, and plus other fees depending on the work and tools used! In other words, I was going to end up paying a small fortune just to have them use a slim jim to open my vehicle door. If you live in the area, use Lockaid and don't fall for the scam artists that can never quote an exact price. Run them out of business and give your business to locksmiths that are actually honest and upfront about the price. I would definitely use this locksmith company again! read more

I have had great pleasure in dealing with an honest man. I just needed a simple copy of my backup car key, and I had purchased the blank stock online. I researched the Net and got quotes from $65-$95. I found the Yelp set and got an email from Lock Guys in less than an hour. Barry said if I bring in the keys would make the copies, but didn't want to charge me. He said other companies might charge me $50 or more for a simple job like this one, and he was not pleased that these companies could justify such a charge. I met him the next day at his Airpark office, and In about 15 minutes we were done. I insisted he take a fair compensation for his work and time and handed him $40 in cash. I lost a full set of keys, including those to my 1962 Chevy Corvair Monza 900. I called one locksmith before this; they claimed they could help and set an appointment. The next morning, they called and said they were unable to help me for lack of tools. So I called Lockaid and was connected with Gabriel. He researched my vehicle and found the necessary blank in an hour or two. We scheduled an appointment the next day, and he was able to fashion a new ignition key in 20 minutes or so, using nothing more than a pair of vice grips. Recently I had an issue with locking myself out of my car while I was at a Gas Station. I needed a emergency locksmith as soon as possible as I was at a Gas Station. Gabriel saved my butt a couple of weekends ago. I had the pleasure of meeting Gabriel when my friend lost his keys. My friends key has a transponder on it which can make it difficult and rather expensive to replace.
