Josh was amazing!! I called with an urgent need for a new key for our F250. With a road trip in the morning and no key to be found, we needed a replacement immediately. Josh showed up within an hour (as promised) and got right to work. He was very friendly and personable, and within 20 minutes had our truck running for us. Their rates are comparable to other services I called, but we received a higher quality key than we would have at the other companies. Will 100% be using this company again if needed. read more

Something is not right with this company. They canceled and didn't show up during the time window they gave me. I called multiple times with no answer, and the excuse I received was very poor and unprofessional. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and reliability. . read more

Unhelpful quotes, won't give quotes online, makes you call them and then provide too much information for a simple quote of 5 locks. After their technician called to say what his rates were, They were not competitive . Update: After I posted this review they called an additional 3 times. Very unprofessional. I had to block their number. read more

Lock Pixies - Extremely unprofessional and harassing you once you say you're not interested in using their business. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Reached out through yelp for a key duplication for a vehicle. They said no problem, the tech sent me a link for the blank to buy. Once it arrived I set up an appointment. Was told 20-40 minute install. Tech arrives and I give him my one working key and the blank. After an hour or so he tells me that he is having issues and will need to use a more expensive technique to program the fob. I agree to the Increased price. Another hour passed and he tells me he couldn't do the programming. Gives me the keys back, does not charge me and leaves. I go to check on the vehicle and it is left unlocked. I try to use my original fob and it does not work. I can go in the car and start the car but can't lock or unlock my car with my keb fob. I called the office and they said they can reach out to more techs. Two of them call me and tell me they can't do it and it's a dealership job. I have to keep calling the office to find out updates. No one reaches out to me to let me know progress of this. I have asked to talked to a manager multiple times and am told each time that they are not in or unavailable. This is horrible customer service and communication read more

Lock pixies is reliable and affordable. My go to lock smith. I'm always happy with their professionalism.

I am fairly sure they just sub contracted this out. Tech cancelled on me, then was late to the reschedule. Pricing was incredibly opaque and there was always an additional fee at each step. At the end of the day the work seems fine but I have no idea if the value was there and the experience was poor. Spend your money on a different lock smith. read more

tech lied about eta, showed up extremely unprofessional and was on the phone. threatened to call police for refusing to pay for a key that didn't work. reeked of BO and cigarettes. also tried to ramp price up at the start, acting like the agreed upon price never existed. car was red rocks locksmith. stay away from these guys read more

Took a long time to show up, so I called somebody else. When they did finally show up was cussed-out for no longer needing them.

I restored a barn-rescued '06 Kawasaki Z1000. Ignition was gummed up and I needed the single key duplicated. Of course, this is a special order. She got a few blanks, cut 'em to spec then came back and cleaned up the ignition cylinder to make it work like new. Faster response than I was expecting. Came to my door. Done with no drama. I'm happy. read more

Doorknob and deadbolt on my front door started acting up last night on my way to work. Came home this morning and tried to fix the problem myself.... Spoiler alert: I made it worse (Face palm). Anyways, called Lock Pixies in a slight panic around 10:30am and they had someone here at 12:30pm. Super friendly tech that showed me some of the issues that had caused the problem to begin with, then replaced both my front door keypad knob and deadbolt for me. He was also happy to install an exterior keypad door knob on my attached garage side-entry door as well. Did everything super fast, with a smile on his face. Would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing help with locks/doorknobs/etc., plus he told me they also do locksmithing work on vehicles as well, so definitely a handy number to have, just in case. Josh, thank you so much again for coming to the rescue this afternoon!! read more

I feel the fee was very high and I didn't get a response in a timely manner bad customer service on the tech as well.

Didn't get the call back I'd requested for a general quote. When I called them there was a lot of background noise and didn't get the feeling they were listening to me. Didn't get another call from them so let them know I was going with a different company. read more

There is so much to not recommend about this company I don't have the time. - So expensive you might as well buy a new door for the price they charge. I called and was quoted only for the re-keying of two door keys, but when the contractor showed up, he added on a bunch more service charges-yikes! - It added up to $200 for 2 keys?????? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! - The contractor initially said he would cut 3 keys for us, (so we could have a spare) then after re-keying, all of a sudden, he made up some excuses as to why he needed to come back to the house to give us the third key and could only give us two keys - none of which made any sense! - The contractor wanted me to pay him personally and not the company - this I found odd - so I called the number I originally called to book the service to verify who I should pay, oddly enough the person I spoke to sounded like the contractor at my home (but I thought this could be a coincidence). Then I'm told the company I'm dealing with is owned by another company -misleading and confusing! - I go back out then the contractor tells me he knows I called the company to ask a question - hmmmm!!! - Says Lock Pixies but then you're told you're dealing with Red Rocks Lock Smiths, but then you read woman-owned and operated, but then whenever you call it's the same sounding guy who showed up at your door that sounds like he also answers the number of the company you're trying to get a hold of (whichever company that is) - The contractor tells me he would give me a discount for a good Yelp review, but given all the strange experiences with this company, I'd rather write my honest opinion of this company. FIND ANY OTHER!!!!!!!!! - Although the contractor offered information about some other door issues we were having, he asked many many questions about us. - I am left having a weird feeling and wished I didn't use this company. We were in an urgent need but now we question all the 5 star reviews - there's no way! read more

I had been looking for a locksmith to fix our back door and the reviews were so good I called this place. I got on their schedule that day, and Josh came out right away and replaced my door handle. I chose Lock Pixies based on reviews by Yelp friends. It was a bonus that it is a women-owned business! Two locksmiths were on time to re-key my home. We were not on time, so I appreciated their patience in sticking around until we arrived. They got right to work and took care of all the locks at what I felt was a reasonable cost. They also made some recommendations for new, better locks when we are ready to do that. I plan to hire them for that work when we make some decisions on what we want. Lock Pixies were helpful and professional. I definitely recommend. read more

I called Lock Pixies because I was locked out of my bathroom. I had 2 techs here in about 30 minutes. The techs were friendly and unlocked my door but the price was high for the service provided. Disappointed. The tech was friendly and efficient but the cost was surprisingly high: $180 to take a deadbolt out and another $220 to put in a new one. Ain't it great when someone does the exact thing they've promised. Does a perfect job at a fair price and is sweet as can be about it? Before I wrote this review Lock Pixies had 27 Yelp reviews and every one of them was 5 stars. Now with my review the company's got 28 reviews and still all at 5 stars. Why is that you might ask. What makes this business ratings-perfect? The answer all comes down to Christine the owner/operator. Call up lots of locksmiths in town and you'll get a call center that refers your call to an independent locksmith that does contract work for the company you thought you were calling. They aren't really connected with the company or if they are it's just as an independent contractor that's using the company name as a marketing tool. That's about as different from how Lock Pixies works as you can get. Call Lock Pixies and the owner, Christine, answers the phone. You describe your issue and she sets up an appointment that she personally services. Given some recent security issues in our neighborhood I called yesterday and asked Christine if she could squeeze us in today to change all our door keys. She promised to make it work even though it's a weekend. And just as scheduled she showed up, professionally and quickly did the job at the quoted price and couldn't have been nicer or more efficient about it. Bottom line is that Christine and Lock Pixies is now my locksmith of choice for all our mobile lock servicing. Sign me, :-David "Locked and Loaded" M read more

I needed a locksmith and my friend recommend Lock Pixies. Christine was great. She was prompt to get me on her schedule with a 30 minute arrival window and was on time, even calling when nearby.
