I strongly advise against hiring Ty's Locksmith, especially if you own a business. They performed work on my dispensary, and the results were disastrous. The door they installed does not close properly, the deadbolt latches incorrectly, and there is over an inch of play--making it extremely easy to break into. This is a major security risk, and instead of fixing the issue, they became aggressive when I addressed it. To make matters worse, when I called them to discuss the problem, the technician started cussing and yelling at me, which I have recorded. This company's poor workmanship and unprofessional behavior put businesses at risk. Unfortunately, their negligence contributed to my dispensary being vulnerable to a break-in. If you care about your business's security, DO NOT hire Ty's Locksmith. They take your money and leave you with an unsafe setup. read more

Called this company because we got locked out of our house and it had some good reviews. Was told he would be at our house in 30 minutes. We called back 40 minutes later since he didn't show up yet just to be told that he was "held up at another job and it would be another 30 minutes." We first contacted this company at 10:16am and he was "10 minutes away" at 11:50am. We ended up contacting another company. We texted him to tell him that we had someone else coming and he said "okay I'll turn around" instead of apologizing? This isn't a situation where being punctual is flexible. Unprofessional. Left my keys in vegas only noticing when I landed in denver. Called this place and was quoted 300 for a 2017 Chevy suburban only to find out from the tech this key would be 500 dollars. The service gentleman was a AMAZING but I'll never do business with this company again simply because when I called back in regards to the price increase the person on the phone implicated that I was lying and basically just made up the 300 price.....uh my initial question in our conversation was how much for a key to be made for a 2017 Chevy suburban. Honestly you took advantage of a desperate situation to make money and that's the despicable part. Just saying I don't know I'll get back to you vs pulling a low number out your ass os a better solution to the problem. Buyer/ shopper beware. Tried this person gave a trip estimate of 10$ for trip. Made a new key couldn't reprogram my new fob .He told me he needed a different program for the fob and would come back . I purchased two additional key fobs with programming. The batteries died without being used within two months. Only one worked after I replaced the batteries. When I contacted them about the problem, they were dismissive and said I must have dropped something from inside the key fob when I opened it up. No I didn't. I've replaced the key fob batteries many many times and never had a problem. But their response was there is not a "warranty" and would not try to fix the problem unless I paid them another $35 to come out and look at it. Oh well, charge disputed. He was fifteen minutes late, but this was Monday March 15th 2021 the day after a giant snowstorm, so I consider myself lucky that he was willing to come at all. For some reason was this was only locksmith that answered the phone, and I dialed like five different numbers. I lost the only set of keys I had to my car.
