The door they installed does not close properly, the deadbolt latches incorrectly, and there is over an inch of play--making it extremely easy to break into. This is a major security risk, and instead of fixing the issue, they became aggressive when I addressed it. To make matters worse, when I called them to discuss the problem, the technician started cussing and yelling at me, which I have recorded. This company's poor workmanship and unprofessional behavior put businesses at risk. Unfortunately, their negligence contributed to my dispensary being vulnerable to a break-in. If you care about your business's security, DO NOT hire Ty's Locksmith. They take your money and leave you with an unsafe setup.

Best customer service I have EVER come across! I cannot say enough good things about Dave and…read moreMountain Lock & Key! First off, he answered the phone (the other places I called either didn't answer or never called me back). Secondly, he kept his word! He showed up when he said he would and he kept me informed throughout the process, as he promised. That alone is worth the 5 stars but, let me go on. I had purchased a trailer online that was located in Evergreen, CO. The trailer keys had been lost by the previous owner but I needed keys prior to moving the trailer across the country. I called Dave on short notice and he made time to inspect my trailer key needs that very same day! As it turns out, due of the nature of the lock, new keys would need to be ordered. The problem with this was the trailer was leaving the state the following week. Quick thinking Dave made arrangements to have the keys expedited and delivered just in time! Needless to say, I was very pleased! When I called Dave, I called from my home state; this is to say this whole transaction was completed 100% remotely! It is doubtful I will ever require Dave's services again simply because I don't live in the area (or even the state) however, this didn't stop him from treating me any differently than if I was going to be a regular, long-time customer! He respected my needs throughout the whole process and I felt valued. Dave delivers quality, good old fashion, keep your word type work and conducts himself with INTEGRITY! Use him and tell all your friends about him, you won't regret it!

I arrived 3 minutes after they did. They ran around our house changing locks for all of 15 minutes and then changed out 5 not 3 locks like we had originally discussed. They then charged us over 2000 which is basically robbery. What kind of business tries to fleece people like this. I'm extremely upset they had the gall to do this. Eventually they removed 600 of BS service charges and rekeying fees but even still at 1400 for 5 locks I feel like I have been grossly taken advantage of. They the almost ran off without giving us the keys. I'm working through Amex right now to get the invoice down to a more reasonable amount. We will never use these people again.
