I live in downtown Silver Spring and have been using this business for nearly a decade. The couple that owns it is incredibly nice and does great work. The price is reasonable and it is just off the Silver Spring Metro station. I highly recommend it. read more

I used them once for cleaning and pressing two suits and it went very well. Prices seem to be in line with what is charged in the area.

Amazing dry cleaner that I discovered when my wife needed her suit dry cleaned the next day and they were willing to but now get so busy it takes several days. Now that I am looking for a new job after the reduction in force at the Department of Education I use them very often. The wife and husband who own and operate this amazing small business are lovely. read more

They do great quality work here, but parking is horrible and the woman is rude. Won't be returning.

I have been looking for a dry cleaner in the area for severa month and Metro Valet Cleaner is great! Service is outstanding! All my clothes were ready in time and they did a great job. The lady at the counter follows all the COVID regulations and it felt really safe going here read more

I've always had a difficult time finding clothes that fit me perfectly, so having a great tailor is clutch! I've used Metro Valet for a few years now and my wardrobe has never looked more fitted. Jung Kim, the tailor at this location, does an impeccable job of altering my clothes. She takes accurate measurements, offers great style advice, and honest feedback. I often take my dry cleaning here as well and my clothes always come back cleaner and more presentable than when I dropped them off. I appreciate that my clothes are always ready to be picked up within a few days and always at the guaranteed time. I love the service at this shop and the smiles and conversations I have with Jung and her husband each time I visit. read more

I had several pants tailored, with skill, at reasonable prices. The couple the owns and runs the shop are incredibly friendly people. Highly recommended. read more

This place was hard as hell to find. It took me at least 20 minutes driving around a 5-6 block radius (thanks to the area's no left turn/no U turn signs) before I actually found this place. It's not visible from the street; its actually on the back end of the Metro Plaza complex. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no one else there when I arrived. I was greeted politely and the whole transaction took less than 60 seconds. I was taken aback by the cost, though. $12.95 to get a suit cleaned is a little steep. We'll see if it was worth it... read more

I came here on a friend's recommendation, with relatively short notice, to have my wedding dress altered. Jung Kim is a very talented seamstress and a dream to work with! She went above and beyond every time I met with her and just has such a caring personality. I thought what I wanted done would be easy (I don't know much about dress making/altering), but it became clear that, given the way my dress was actually made, it was going to be a LOT more complicated than I'd anticipated. She was tireless in her efforts to create a beautiful and clever solution to my issues, and I could not be more grateful for her dedication, quick handiwork, and very reasonable prices. I live in Northern VA so it's a 40 minute drive each way for me, but Kim's skill made it completely worth it. There's just nothing like having confidence in the people you choose to work with. She was a pleasure to work with and there's nowhere else I'll go for my alteration needs (which, wedding dresses aside, opens up a whole new world of wardrobe possibilities)! read more

I continue to have the best experiences here. I had an unexpected job interview and needed a pair of trousers re-hemmed and ready for pick up the next day. They were ready and waiting for me at the time we discussed -- and I got the job! My clothes are always ready, their customer service is top notch and my extremely picky significant other is thrilled that his clothing is always exactly the way he requests (light starch). read more

If you are looking for this place it's on the inside of the building complex not on the street! I love this Cleaners! They are so nice, work fast, get the job done, and reasonably priced. The lady at the front desk is lovely, she asks about your day and how your doing. You can get in and out super quick as well. I really have no complaints just praise. read more

Metro Valet does a wonderful job. They are helpful and kind and our clothes always comes back perfectly clean and smooth. We have also been pleased with their tailoring services. They did a particularly nice job on two complicated pieces and even added a hidden button on one dress to ensure it stayed in place. read more

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this establishment. The location may difficult to access (parking is tricky, it's above the Silver Spring metro), but the store is always clean and well-kept, the prices are very reasonable (less than any other local valet) and the customer service from the lovely couple who runs it is well above average. I'm always met with courtesy and a smile. I brought my bridal shower dress to the store to be taken in. After the first round of alterations, the dress was still too big in the waistline and hips, so I brought it back to hopefully be altered further. However, by this time, I needed to wear the dress in two days. The store owner Jung graciously said she would have it ready the next day, but she finished later that SAME day. I went back, tried it on in the store, and it was perfect. Furthermore, Jung refused to charge me for the secondary alterations. I was floored and humbled. I highly, highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed for dry cleaning or alteration services. read more

I don't want to say all the good things I have to say about Metro Valet because I want to keep it a secret for myself!!! They are amazing, my clothes have never come from a dry cleaner in such pristine condition. They took their time and paid attention to details. All of my shirts were perfect. They even fixed missing buttons and interlocked the sleeves to prevent them from wrinkling. The owner offered to help carry my clothes to the car. More than anything they impressed my wife! They took extra care to ensure that one of her white jackets that had a makeup stain was like new again. In short Metro Valet is a great place to take clothes you care about! Their customer service was personal and on another level! read more

Love Metro Valet! It's so easy to drop clothes off and get timely returns. They are truly professionals here, and do their best to work around your schedule. Clothes, comforters, tailoring, you name it. They can service it here. Plus, the tailoring is absolutely phenomenal. You will not be disappointed. read more

Metro Valet Cleaners - Beautiful tailoring here, just in time for gala season. - Laundry Services Near Me - Silver Spring, Maryland

I don't know yet. Some of my whites are super yellowing after returning from the dry cleaner. Won't go here again.

We had a good experience getting a coat cleaned here; quick/efficient service. Decent prices. Would return for more cleaning in the future. Located in the plaza; up the stairs from the metro, on the right hand side (if approaching from the metro). read more

My rating is based on customer service. I came in on a Wednesday to have my jacket cleaned and I asked if it was possible to have it ready by Friday morning and was rudely declined. I asked if it was possible to pay more and put the jacket back in my hands and said no multiple times rudely. I'm not unreasonable if she had nicely said that it wasn't possible I would've accepted it but she wasn't so rude about it and just refused to help. I wouldn't come back if I was paid to. Very rude and disgusting behavior. read more

I recently went to them with a cream sport coat with pasta sauce on it. I asked them to please clean the coat. They informed me they have little success in removing such stains. I asked if they were cleaners? It's not like they haven't seen a pasta sauce stain before. All you need is water and a grease cutting cleaning product to remove the stain. Palmolive is perfect. I took the coat back disgusted as I didn't feel like cleaning it myself. I took the coat home and got out a wash cloth and the Palmolive. In about 5 min I had all the stains out. I took the coat back to the cleaner to show them what can be done with a little work and know how. They said I made it worse. I asked them were they kidding? The stain was gone and the coat looked like new. I don't know how long they have been in business but if you don't know the simplest things about getting certain stains out of clothing how can you call yourself a cleaner. Quick note - if you're trying to get a sugar based stain out of clothing, use water. It will dissolve the stain. If it's oil based use water and a grease cutter. Pretty simple. read more

This place is the best. I go out of my way to take my clothes here, because their work is terrific and the prices are very reasonable. They even got the bally things off a wool coat I have. They really go above and beyond to do great work here - very hard to find in the sea of crappy yet still expensive dry cleaners out there. read more

Metro Valet is a fabulous place for all cleaning services. I used them for many years. Jung and Kim always go out of their way to make sure you are happy with their services. The most amazing service happened when I was moving to New York and had my drapes cleaned for the new home, but I forgot to pick them up before I left. Their son lives in New York, and they gave them to him and he dropped them off at my home. Amazing! They are great people. I highly recommend them. read more

I've never needed to use a cleaners, but I've been here to get some wool sweaters cleaned a few times. The prices are great for the work that they do. They'll continue to get my business as long as I live in this area. read more

I had my son in the car and couldn't find parking. She came out and took my clothes and wrote up a ticket carside. Now that's great service.

Great work on any alterations and cleaning. Very nice and kind staff. This is my new go to for cleaning or alterations. read more

I really like this place because they take care of my clothing. I haven't used their tailoring services, and I don't know that I would because they are a bit expensive but the prices are worth the dry cleaning. And to talk about the prices - they are a bit steep but worth it and when it comes to clothing, it's better to have it done right. The parking is a real challenge though, so make sure you know where you're going to park before you go. read more

Wonderful service provided by kind, hardworking people. I've been using this cleaners for over a year and am never disappointed by either the quality of the service or the friendliness of the proprietors. Shirts are always carefully pressed and hung with the sleeves crossed so as to minimize post laundering wrinkles. Spacers are used with suit jackets rather than simply buttoning the jacket, as happens in some dry cleaners. There's no parking, but Mr. Kim will happily bring your cleaning to the curb if you call in advance. Pockets are checked for forgotten items, which are always returned. read more

Impeccable customer service and the clothes come back like the day you bought them. The owners truly take pride in their work.

When you move to a new area, one of the important places to find is a nice dry cleaner. I have found (it can be hard to actually find, in the cut) mine. Took an overcoat to have two buttons replaced and cleaned. Also, alterations to some pants. Both turned out excellent, with great craftsmanship. read more

This place absolutely lives up to the hype. I didn't think that could be true; I've been hapy with previous dry cleaners, mostly based of off yelp reviews, but never fallen in love with one specific place. I am enamored and I am looking for engagement rings for this place! The couple that runs it is absolutely the sweetest. They are so kind and always crack jokes. The customer service here is superb. Because of my work schedule I ended up having to leave my clothes for along time, I actually remembered to call and let them know since there is a clear disclaimer on their receipt for clothes left longer than 30 days, but then they called me the following week just to remind me that I still have items there. I was disappointed at first that the price wasn't as low as I was expecting from a receipt posted on yelp, but it didn't matter because their work was so amazing. They got all the lint off of my wool coat, fixed a button, and sewed down a flying lapel for me. I will be bringing all of my important items to this cleaners from now on. As far as I know there are no coupons or read more

Metro Valet Cleaners - Total was a little more than I anticipated, but it may be worth it depending on how the clothes come back. - Laundry Services Near Me - Silver Spring, Maryland

Excellent service and attention to detail! The prices are very good for the quality of service. Removing all the coffee stains out of my lab coats won my patronage; but the genuine friendliness of the owners has won my loyalty. I'll continue to bypass dozens of other dry cleaners to continue to support this wonderful family run establishment. read more

One of the best cleaners I've used. Clothes always come back perfect. Recently, I had a delay arriving to pick up my clothes for an important meeting early the next morning. This place deserves nothing but a 5 star review. Impeccable, super friendly service. I come here to get work skirts dry cleaned periodically and it only costs $5. Wow! Amazing service, very thorough, friendly and welcoming! This place is superb! I submitted several pieces of dress shirts and pants and it was returned with a fresh, clean, crisp appearance. The packaging was fantastic, well covered and cared for! I was extremely impressed and happy to say the least. I will continue to return! I'm glad to have found my permanent dry cleaner! read more

Everything perfect, good service from pleasant staff all at a reasonable price.

This is my second review for this cleaners for a different service they provide. Unless you live nearby where you can walk to this cleaners or it's on the way to work, it's difficult to find nearby parking to pick up or drop off your clothes for dry cleaning. Well, they fixed this problem for me. There is a passenger pickup/drop off area at front of the building. If you give them a call, they will come out to pick up or drop off the clothes to you. I suppose they do this for me because I'm a regular there, but Jung Kim is so nice she will probably do it for anyone. She makes me feel like a VIP. I strongly recommend giving them a try! read more
