This towing company doesn't deserve one star. Car was damaged by their driver while being transported, they lied by saying that a muffler and complete pipe underneath car was repaired by a muffler shop. Muffler and complete pipe underneath was placed in the back seat of the car. 1. They installed the same damaged muffler 2. The placed a wire underneath car to hold the pipe up 3. Exhaust fumes now come into the car while driving And he said, do whatever you want, we fixed it. I am a Geico customer and this complaint of their contracted service will damage a car and not fix it. My son's car was towed using AAA service, this towing company is also contracted by AAA. Booked a day in advance to pick up car from a service center, still had to wait and call again for the dispatch. Otherwise, everything was great. Also the distance was 1.1 miles more than what my insurance covers, so I was charged for 2 miles -- this I guess is the insurance thing and not about this particular towing but just wanted to mention. read more

Where do we begin... Well we had a car that was towed from a residential street because a homeowner says their driveway was being block(they had plenty of room but fine) we were able to track down our company vehicle through the chp at this horrible establishment. I contacted the yard and the tow truck driver advised that they don't allow cars to be released at night to call back the following morning. So I did I spoke to a very unprofessional Sam(the dispatcher) and explained to him I was in southern ca but wanted to arrange for my company vehicle to be released. He reluctantly gave me pricing and list of what was needed. The tow itself was almost $400 which is crazy...but what was more crazy when I called back to advise him I couldn't get anyone there today before they closed he advised me that I would me charged more fees for the weekend because they close. Being a business owner myself I asked for the common courtesy to not charge me being that my vehicle was able to be picked up the following day. Sam didn't like that at all and he didn't like that I mentioned I would write a detailed review about him so he threatened to write a review about my company...lol. I locked my keys in my 2004 Toyota Tundra and called Metro Towing. Two guys (Allen + ?) tried to unlock my truck per usual inflatable balloon and long hook for about 10-15 minutes but said my 2004 Toyota had some kind of weird safety device and kept relocking itself so there was nothing they could do and they still charged me full price. I then called a locksmith who came right over and unlocked my truck in at most 3 minutes with same balloon/hook method. We called Metro Towing to dispute but they said they charge because of their "attempt." Needless to say lesson learned with calling tow company instead of locksmith from beginning but really poor business policy by Metro Towing. read more

I would give them 0 stars if that was an option! Unprofessional, lied to me and my insurance about being on his way. He didn't know I was speaking to my insurance when he called to ask for the address. Took him 1 hr and 16mins to get to us when my insurance told me it was 46mins. Would of been longer if t wasn't that I called my insurance 5mins after he didn't show up. He arrived in an unprofessional car didn't have anything that said he was with the towing company. Driver Rashed Razzada was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our car had overheated engine issue and it was not safe to drive. We called our insurance company, and they sent Rashed to tow our car home. Rashed came and help us identify the issue. He told us the issue was caused by the engine was out of coolant. Because there was no shop open this late on New Year's day, he taught us how to add coolant when shops opens next day. Also, he drove us home safely. read more

I got a flat tire on the freeway. I called Metro towing , was told it would be about 45 minutes. The girl told me I was not in a safe place to change a tire so I would be towed to the next exit. It was 8:30 at night. After waiting the 45 minutes she calls to tell me the guy is on a CHP call and I'll need to call someone else. I was in angry that they made me wait all that time in a "unsafe place" just to cancel. I asked for a recommendation as I am not from that area. She suggested All Star Towing! I was to have the tires chnaged at a tire dealer, but Nasir alerted me to hidden rim damage as well , so I had the car towed to a mechanic instead. He saved me an extra tow. He responded to be within a few minutes after I spoke to my road side assistance and arrived sooner then I had been quoted. My family and I were towing our RV when the drivers side rear tire axel bearing froze and caught fire, we were stranded on the side of highway 5 northbound for 6 hours while we waited on the company I relied on for roadside assistance to find a company to provide a low-boy flat bed to get us out of the dangerous position we were in, when I received the final call from my insurance tow company at 6:30pm on a Saturday I was told they had no luck and were unable to help us and that I would need to find a company with the low-boy on my own, I was shocked but had no choice so I made a call to Metro Towing when Sam answered, he was very polite, professional and personable, after a brief conversation and sending him pictures of our trailer he said he would be able to help and that he would call a truck with a low-boy and it would be on site in 90 minutes. Shortly afterwards I received a call from Faisal he also was polite, professional and personable and said he was on his way, he arrived at 7:30pm, while it was a real task to get the RV loaded Faisal absolutely knew his job and was patient with all that was going on with the traffic and being that it was getting dark, once the RV was loaded we were on our way, 100 miles later we were at the tow destination in our home town. In the end Metro Towing rescued us, while they were just doing what they do everyday and were very helpful the main thing that stands out to me are the words polite, professional and personable, thank you Sam and Faisal. read more

This company doesn't deserve even one star! DO NOT let this company tow your car. I was in a accident on highway 4 while moving and my car was flipped over. I am pregnant with my first child and so my first priority was to go to the emergency room to check on the baby. In my trunk was Christmas presents and other stuff I had in my room like makeup perfume and clothes. Long story short, my brand new presents were stolen and my makeup was sifted through, and they took all my foundations, mascaras, blush, highlights, bronzers etc were taken. All they left was my lipsticks. I had a huge makeup collection too also very expensive!!! Also they stole my brand new bottle of perfume, and lotion from Victoria Secret that I got for Christmas last year and hadn't used yet but left the used ones. When going to the company about it they said that they would review the film and then call me back. I never got a call back. I called again and the guy who towed my car (who's apparently the supervisor) answered and said that the my trunk was open when he flipped it over and told me I could even ask the CHP on the scene. So I did and got a call back today where the CHP told me that my trunk was closed he believes and if it was open he is responsible for the items and is supposed to throw all the items back in . But how is it that only the NEW gifts in my trunk "fell" out and that the car sifted through the makeup and only through out everything but lipsticks. How is it that none of my old items "fell" out. When I called the supervisor to explain what the CHP said he argued with me saying things like "mam don't make things hard" and concluded our conversation and said good luck proving it, I'll be waiting for the court papers and hung up on me. Mind you, he never denied it and never said those items weren't in there or anything like that. He did keep asking me for a picture of my car flipped over. Although I'm lucky to be alive and walk away from the accident, I can't believe someone would do something like this after this kind of an emergency during the holidays. It was raining and my windshield was foggy- I drove over a curb and down a muddy embankment, getting myself & my infant stuck in the mud. My husband said it looked like it would be impossible for them to tow me out of where I had lodged myself. Metro Tow did a great job and was able to get us out of this bind with no additional damage, aside from what I had caused during my bonehead move. I really appreciated the tow truck driver- I was so shell shocked I never got his name- he worked hard, did a great job and was very nice to my husband and I. I'm beyond grateful to them- it was one of the worst nights I've ever had, and now I'm home with my baby, myself and car all in one piece. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Worst I've ever had, came down to CA for vacation and my car broke down. Called them for a tow driver ripped my rear bumper off while pulling it up, said it'll pop back together. Climbed in the truck and it was a pigsty! Driver smoked up a storm and I have asthma when I asked him to stopped he just laughed at me. When we got to the drop destination I asked him what he was gonna do to fix my bumper, he jumped in his truck and took off! Horrible service. I used AAA and got this place. They have good customer service until something goes wrong then it's your fault. I had my car towed to my mechanic because of a starting issue. After it was dropped off my front wheels weren't straight any more. I asked the driver what happen to my car and he said nothing was wrong. It was obvious something was wrong when one tire was straight and the other was pointing a different direction. I asked him what I should do about this and he told me to call AAA. I then reported it to AAA and they advised that they pride themselves in using respectable and honest companies and that it was recommended that the complaint was taken to the tow service and they should be able to help you out. The key work was should, but in the case it wasn't. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of "Q" or "Que". I explained the situation and he quickly said we did everything right. I was trying to explain to him that the car's wheels were straight when it was picked up and now they are not. He then said what did he do wrong. It was like talking to a wall. He then implied that the reason for the tow was probably for the crooked wheel, even though I reported the car to AAA to not start due to possible electrical issues. He told me that they did everything right and he didn't know what else to tell me. This was the last thing anyone wants to hear. You need a tow to get your car fix for 1 reason and not any additional issues caused by a tow. I spoke with my mechanic and he confirmed that somethings was hooked to the tie rod which was next to the control arm which appeared to be used to pull the car up to the flatbed. I'm not an expert in cars but I'm sure this tie rod is not anyway connected to the starter motor which was the reason why my car wasn't starting. Metro towing may tell you different since they have a totally different thought process. I reported the whole event to AAA and hopefully they have more sense and customer service that metro towing lacks when something is done wrong. So if you want to take your chances go for it. But if shit hits the fan I hope you get better service than I did. read more

Very unprofessional. Only wanted a jump start and the driver connected the cables backwards and fried my alternator. Stole my battery.. Lost my key at work.. I called wife to come pick me up. It was hot and I had tools so I unscrewed my ignition so I could get to the plastic part on rear of ignition. I was able to start the car so that I had A.C. to keep me cool. Wife came I turned off car but left the ignition hanging down. Looked like it had been stolen lol.. neways I left car in secure parking with a guard. Tow driver must have thought it was a stolen car. For some reason he opened to hood and saw my $300 yellow top battery. Drops my car off without battery.. I will be file a police report and will also file a small claims report.
