Jason helped us tow our vehicle and took such great care of us--he is AWESOME! Great customer service, very quick response, and super professional. We found them through AAA and we highly recommend using them and Metropro for all your roadside service needs. Jason, you rock!! read more

Hey just wanted to request fof yall at Metropro to review the monitored calls for one of your customer agents named Rachel or Rashell. Rude and had a terrible attitude. Hung up on multiple occasions and refused to actually help the situation. Called around 12 am on the 31st of July. It's incredible unprofessional and he was beyond disrespectful. Please review because I don't understand why when I'm billed hourly the person hangs up so often before I can ask a question. Weird. Imagine you crash your car and you end up on the phone with this brotha. Worst case scenario imo. Kinda a liability. But shout out to Frank. He went out of his way to help us retrieve our vehicle. thanks frank! read more

Rochelle or whatever his name is very rude from the beginning of our phone call with him. Didn't give us the customer service we needed or required. I work in property management and I would not recommend him having to deal with him. He does not have the sympathy or any politeness when dealing with any customers. He is very rude and does not care about you or the business he works for. He yelled at us for not giving him the license plate or vin number immediately upon asking. Being in property management we always strive to wanting to make sure our customers are taken care of and this tow yard needs to do better. I don't care if he is the only one that wants to work night you need to find BETTER PERSONNEL FOR YOUR COMPANY OR IT WILL FAIL. MUHAMMAD WAS VERY RUDE FROM THE BEGINNING AS WELL WHEN WE ARRIVED HE DIDN'T WANNA GIVE US OUR PAPERWORK WHEN WE WERE TRYING TO LEAVE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR THIS PERSONNEL TO DEAL WITH ANY CUSTOMER AT ALL. HE SHOULD BE FIRED. OVERALL ID GIVE THIS COMPANY A NEGATIVE REVIEW. read more

Unprofessional employees at tow yard. Predatory towing and cynical behavior. Absolutely do not recommend.

Dispatch is incredibly difficult to work with and talk to and is garbage. Tanya has a serious attitude for someone working dispatch in a tow yard. On site staff was nice, but phone number is trash. read more

My wife got into an accident, the police officer arranged a tow truck because the towing service from our insurance were too slow and traffics was starting to jam up. Can't say no to the police officer, she accepted, a driver from Metro-Pro Tow showed up pretty soon. The driver blatantly lied to my wife, saying that he can either tow the car to the impound of police station for free but she'll have to pay for storage fee everyday, and the car can't be fixed while in impound; or he can tow it to the nearest car rental, where she can get her loaner car and wait for the towing from our insurance company to take her to a collision center. My wife was still shaky from the accident and wasn't thinking straight, didn't realize the loop hole that there's a third option: just damn wait anywhere on the curb anywhere off freeway. So she naturally chose option 2. They got there, it was about 2-3 miles total distance, and the drive wrote up a bill: $246. My wife argued that he never mentioned how much it's gonna cost, and that the pricing was ridiculously high. The driver said, "hey nothing is free", like she was the one that was being unreasonable. WTF, of course nothing is free, but a tow ain't gonna cost $100 PER MILE, your crappy tow truck isn't a Lamborghini. So yeah, with this kind of driver still working for this company, this company is a total scam, never ever ever voluntarily use them. If Metro-Pro still cares about their reputation, they should take actions and implement better code of business conduct. read more

Illegal and predatory tow. Tow violates California Vehicle Codes. People at the tow yard are completely unprofessional.

Was recently involved in a car accident in Santa Ana and this is the towing service the PD sent. Tow guy was awesome, got the car loaded pretty quickly, handed me his card with the address where the vehicle was being taken to so I could retrieve my belongings and location was easy to find and near work. read more

Total scam... we were rear-ended and had to move our car 3 miles, and the driver charged us $260!!! I asked around about avg. fee for towing, and most people said 150-ish. Took full advantage of our situation... These people are awful. read more

I'm not sure if the PD messed up or the tow service did but my boyfriends car got towed across from my apartment and it took us over a week to find it. Tow places are suppose to report every tow they do to the police station in the city of the towing, we called the PD the day of and they had no record of the towing. It took us calling 40+ tow yards and finally I called one and they had it. read more

I was in a car accident and the police offered to call the tow truck say yes to it the company that supposed to be picking up my car was BND Tony Inc. but this other company took over and took my car without even telling me that they took it I wasn't aware until a couple days later and now I'm having to go and sign paperwork and release my car to my insurance it's just being really overwhelming and like I have read and all the other reviews I really think this is an ethical company and really bad customer service. read more

The receptionist answering the phone has to be one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I've ever held a phone conversation with. She answered the call as if I was waisting her time. She hung up on me mid-call and when I called back asking if she hung up or we lost connection. She just told me to basically hurry up and ask my question completely ignoring my statement. She alone completely ruined my experience with this company read more

I was charged $388 total. My car hydroplaned into a divider. I did not call Metro Pro to come help me. The driver told me not to call AAA, and he told me he would not charge me. This was my fault for being manipulated. Mind you I was in shock from the accident. I work 6-7 days a week, barely making it by, and this company took advantage. I've worked for several start up companies and this company is unethical, dishonest and I've never seen any company operate the way they do and remain in business. More people should share their stories so that MetroPro stops taking advantage of people who are vulnerable after a collision read more

I had my bike impounded by Costa Mesa police department and it was towed and sent here. The tow driver who picked up the bike took good care of my bike and when I came in to get my bike I didn't have 100% of the papers I needed but they still worked with me and got me back my motorcycle. One of their tow guys towed my bike back late at night on a last minute request and helped me jump my bike and was most respectful to me! Will definitely use these guys for my future tow needs read more

My car was towed from this company. But instead of them doing the work and moving my car to get towed the driver asked me to the car to the back of his truck. What! Excuse me he's the one getting paid to do this job. the other tow truck company i used to get my car to my place took my car all the way into my driveway no hesitation. Will never use these people. After my alternator decided to depart from this world in the middle of the street, Jose F. came to the rescue in a flatbed after another tow-truck said they shouldn't tow my lowered car. Jose safely got my car winched up on the flatbed without scraping anything and towed me home. He even went the extra mile and helped unload it into my tight garage space. Aside from the flawless tow truck service Jose gave me some very useful tips about alternators & was super down to earth and fun to talk to. Jose was a life saver and made my first towing experience a breeze. Being that this was the 2nd car of mine in the same day that broke down, some great customer service from Jose really helped end my day on a positive note...would not hesitate to get towed again by him if I ever have to. read more

I got a flat tire Sunday evening and found out electric cars do not have spare tires so I had to wait until the next morning (Monday) to figure out my life. I broke down on the freeway on the 405 on my 87 Vanagon and blew a tire Jason through AAA / metro pro services came less than 30 minutes he was friendly, he put me at ease, he helped me because I was scared because there was so much traffic whizzing past me so quickly. Once we were in the car he put my mind at ease as we talked about dogs and he dropped me off at the America's Tires on Bristol, so kudos to Jason thank you so much. As someone else said - I wish I could give this place no stars at all. I was in an accident on the freeway on a Friday night. They are closed over the weekend so Monday was the first time I could get to my vehicle and I was very upset to find that my disabled parking placard had been stolen. I spoke with "Mike" that day, he said he would speak with the driver and told me they have surveillance cameras in the yard. I asked for the manager's name and he resisted giving it to me - that's a red flag right there . After two days he still "hasn't had time" to look at the surveillance video and in every conversation he referred to my placard as "if it was there". I repeatedly told him there is no "if", it was definitely there when they took possession of my vehicle. (I have enough stress in my life as a result of this accident, why would I make this up?) I again asked for the managers name and he gave me "Jean". I asked for her last name and he wouldn't give it to me, even after I pointed at that in a minute on the internet I could find it so his only accomplishment would be annoying an already upset customer even further. Clearly customer service is not his priority! I called the Auto Club and was told that Metro-Pro is one of their approved towing companies! So of course I lodged a complaint. And because "Mike" made me look up the last name for "Jean" on the internet, I also saw the full name of the company's CEO and President. Perhaps I should write them letters? Whether or not it makes a difference, it's the right thing to do and I will do all I can to spread the word, Metro-Pro Tow Service is dishonest, they are thieves. Do NOT use Metro-Pro. read more

My sister used my AAA service when her starter took a dump at the UCI parking structure. Call placed at 8:15 PM, truck 42, and its driver, arrives at approximately 10:00 PM. The driver is not able to tow her car, nor is able to whack the starter to get it going, as is customary. I'm on the phone with my sister, and she is telling me that he is aggravated, and rude. Driver #2 arrives, approximately 11:30 PM. This one is able to whack the starter and get it started. My sister is able to drive home, over 3 hours after the call is placed, from UCI. They should be ashamed of themselves. A formal complaint was indeed filed with AAA, I was livid. read more

Upon calling AAA for service, it was dispatched to this company. Initial quote was 40 minutes. However I waited for 2 hours until 2AM waiting for this company to show up. This company called and had the audacity to lie and tell me 15 minutes after the first hour. I had to get a call from AAA stating they canceled. Had to wait another 40 minutes for a different tow truck stuck in the middle of the road. PLEASE IF YOU CALL AAA, please request a different tow service. They can do that for you. Obviously customer service nor honesty is foreign language to them. read more

Jason's great on the customer service front, real personable, and we chatted jovially, he even suggested his favorite camping spot. The one demerit that I have for him is he hooked the car from the left front control arm instead of the frame. My car went down in a cloud of smoke yesterday during rush hour on the 405. Not only had my car dumped all of its coolant suddenly, but it was quite clear that at least some of my car was ruined from the whole episode. I called AAA and anticipated waiting at least an hour given traffic and where I was, but to my surprise within minutes, there was Jose, who I will now forever call my "Knight in Shining Armor." Not only was he extremely prompt in arriving on the scene, not only did he communicate with me every step of the way so I knew where he was and when he was arriving, but his caliber of knowledge and service far exceeded any tow truck driver I've ever met. Jose's attention to detail and service is truly what stood out. The tow he performed was installed in a way that would safely tow my car without rupturing the air suspension, he gave clear instruction on how to safely guide the car up the ramp, he made sure my window was down in case my car decided to auto lock with the keys in it while in neutral, he offered clarity on what the mysterious oil was that dumped all over the freeway. He made me feel completely confident that everything was going to work out at a time where I couldn't have been more frustrated. I was just expecting to get towed, and what I got was the red carpet treatment all the way to my mechanic. I can't think of a better way to come out of what could've been an absolutely terrible day. Needless to say, I'll be holding on to Metro-Pro's card, because if me or anyone I know is ever in a bind, I know exactly who we'll be calling. read more

Alright so here's the quick story. Car was stolen so my car and was impounded here when it was found by the police because it wasn't drive-able due to all the parts stolen. Parents went ahead to check to see if they could grab the car for me but weren't aware I,the owner, had to be there with registration(which was in he car of course). But by the time I got there it had closed and now ran on it's after hours time. And we were then told there'd be a $95 entrance. Now yes we were unaware of many of these rules which was definitely okay with us but when we decided to pay the entrance to grab the registration papers from the car we were greeted(he didn't actually greet us) an incredibly grumpy man. Stating we needed to have the tow truck that would've move our car out of the company there at the same time we would be walking in to do everything. And as I said it would have been totally okay because of our misunderstanding if he had simply informed us what we had to do then and there kindly. Instead he seemed very irritated, tone was rude, and in the end he walked back in shaking his head and spread his arm with the "are you stupid" kind of gesture. I've worked at plenty of restaurants so I'd understand the annoyed attitude if the customers were rude or hard to work with themselves but my parents were nothing but soft spoken and understanding with the man. read more

The lady I was on the phone with this morning at 9:52 was completely belittling and was not helpful at all. This was my first time dealing with the release process and she was rude and inconsiderate. I'm not saying the whole company is bad, but she was atrocious. read more

Watch out for these scam artists. The phone people appear trained to mislead you, and I'm really disappointed that I pay good taxes for both living and working in the City of Tustin, and they keep a contract with such slimy people. When my vehicle was towed (unlawful parking - what are you gonna do?) I immediately went to the police department and had a conversation on speaker phone with Metro Pro, with the officers right there. First, they said they didn't have my car. After the Tustin police officers were a bit horrified that they had lost my vehicle, they pressed that it was definitely with Metro Pro, and the woman on the phone finally found it. Then, I asked what the fees were if I picked it up that day, what the daily fees were, and then, finally, what their hours were, so I wouldn't be charged more than necessary. She said, "24 hours." I said, "Really??? That's great. Whew, no rush then." I found it odd, since I've experienced set business hours and afterhours fees when a car was towed at my condos once. I was thinking, "These guys are great! It must be more fair when a city tows you." Fast forward to arriving on my pickup day at 6:30 p.m., and having someone shut the door on me, saying, "We just closed." In shock, I exclaimed how the woman told me they were open 24 hours, only to find out that they ARE NOT open 24 hours, not really. After 6pm, you pay another day and a hefty after hours gate fee, like with many other tow companies. It would've been nice for someone to mention that while I was specifically asking about it, so I wouldn't end up paying nearly an extra $100 that could've been easily avoided!!! Let me tell you, I will be taking it up with the city, and the officers who were part of my conversation with Metro Pro, whether this contract will be continued with them. In the meantime, if you've googled them and are seeing this, be forewarned that Metro Pro are dishonest people who mislead you on purpose to make more money. Shame on the City of Tustin for using them. Update: When confronting the woman who gave me the incorrect information, she had the nerve to get smart with me and ask "if I even HAD my vehicle release information" to get my car back. Uh, why would I be here, for fun? Then, a man told me it would be 20-25 minutes until they could get my car. I'm still waiting after 50 minutes. These people relish in making the process miserable for people. Just noticed they have a AAA contract. I'll be taking that up with AAA too. Next stop, Better Business Bureau. Update 2: After 1.25 hours, I finally have my car from them. But wait, there's more. The employee plopped it into a tow zone on the street and said, "It doesn't work." I asked him what that meant and tried the ignition to discover a completely dead car. Then, he shrugged and walked away. Confused, and thinking I need a jump, I go to open the hood, but the latch won't open! The connection has been broken! My best guess is that they jostled the car to death when they were towing it, loosening the battery connection and breaking the hood latch line! This car was in perfect condition before it was towed, and now, it's a hunk of metal on the street. Now, I'm calling AAA to tow my car, once again, to a shop to fix the damage Metro Pro did to my vehicle. This will not be the last they hear from me. read more
