I transferred my service from Talk a lot Metro PCS to Verizon on 1/16/2018. When I went in to…read morecancel my account, the representative kept asking me "why?". I did not want to share that information with him and he just would not stop asking why. He said that Metro was cheaper and I said that all I want to do is cancel my account. He very rudely told me to get out of his store and to never come back!! Then he proceeded to clap his hands when I said that you can bet that I will never come back to that shop ever again. I am 73 years old and I have never been treated so rudely by anyone. I still do not know if he canceled my account. The young man worked there around 11:30 am on the 16th. When I called to talk to the owner, he would not put me through to the owner. I wonder if this is the way Metro treats people who cancel their accounts.

My husband took it to bestbuy geek squad and they convinced him the charging port had come unsodered from the motherboard and pushed deep into the port hole. They couldn't fix it and said apple charges $300 for that fix. We decided to take it to phone zone for a cheaper repair (quoted less than half the price of apple) and lo and behold it was just a metal piece of the charger like we originally thought. The repair guy was super nice and it was a very reasonable price to remove/clean the port. I will definitely be bringing my devices here from now on.

Diana and Salma (Manager) were absolutely amazing through the entire process. It took 3 different days and roughly 3 hours each visit to identify the problem, troubleshoot with 3 different carriers on a conference call, explain thoroughly to me, present the solution, suggest temporary measures, assistance returning a phone, follow through with corporate processes, as well as having to follow up and they could not have been more professional, courteous and accommodating. As stressful and frustrating as this debacle was for me, they empathized and worked hard on its resolution. They made me feel like we were a team together, not as though I was a problem customer and they were corporate, if that makes sense. The long visits never felt that long and I would leave the store with confidence and trust that they 'had my back'. I was very close to just cancelling the transfer and retreating to my prior carrier but did not do that as a direct result of these two stellar employees. Diana and Salma delivered customer service with great care, depth of knowledge and with grace rarely encountered these days. Please give them special kudos, they deserve to be acknowledged!
