I had the hell of a time at Movement Centennial with my daughter and her boyfriend today! A/any…read moremember can bring a guest so I was my daughter's tag along today. If it's your first time then you have to use one of the tablets to sign a waiver; this only takes a minute or two. Once signed you'll show your ID to the staff upfront. It's a quick check in. This interactive gym that's got climbing walls, a yoga studio and a regular exercising area are spacious and clean. I mostly saw young/younger generations of people but didn't you worry; I'm very much middle aged and although it was my first time climbing today and I was able to manage most of the beginner/entry level ones with no issues. We all did some sort of climbing when we were younger, right? Then all you have to do is to let that younger self come out of you!! Depending on your experience level, you'll get to pick where you want to do your climbing (the levels are clearly marked.) It was a busy night at this fun gym but people were very respectful to each other taking turns. I walked around the entire facility to check things out and I was impressed as to how immaculately they maintain the place. Even women's locker room was extremely clean with no trash or whatsoever. I didn't realize that climbing was also a good cardio workout. This was much needed exercise for me for sure. If you end up making blisters just walk up to the front desk and ask for a band-aide or two. They appear to have several locations in the Denver metro area so if you see one in your neighborhood go check it out. ***Note*** You can rent climbing shoes so you don't need to own them. Make sure you soak yourself in a warm bath with epsom salt after the climbing because you WILL be sore (LOL)!

The latest Movement Climbing Gym in the Denver metro area. I wouldn't go out of your way to check…read moreout this location. The weight training area looked better than the other gyms. But the climbing compared to the other gyms was just meh. Englewood is still the biggest Movement location in Colorado as of April 2024. Work was still being done in the women's locker room and hang boards were still pending as of April 6, 2024. Parking was plentiful. That was nice. There wasn't a lot of seating next to outlets. Nothing special here either - there was talk of a sauna and/or steam room but I guess it didn't pan out. But a nice option for climbing if you are in the area.

I've been a member since February 26. The good - there are…read morealways lockers available, and there is always enough cardio equipment. The workout area is pretty clean. The bad - they hired Helen Keller to clean the locker/bathrooms and tanning beds. The tanning beds aré disgusting!! They are dirty and there is hair and smear marks on the inside of them. More than half (I counted 21) bulbs were out. I mentioned this to the staff last week, and this week. The same smear marks are on them as last week. Ewwww

I haven't been a member for a whole month yet but I'm loving everything so far. I opted for the…read moreStudio membership, which includes all the standard gym plus these Studio classes (LFT, FLOW and RED). LFT is where they hold strength training classes using barbell, dumbbells, etc. FLOW is yoga classes under infrared panels. And RED a HIIT training using both cardio equipment and weights. In addition you get unlimited 10 mins of massage chair time. I love the variety of classes and how they build you up. The ease of the app is great where you can sign up for your station or mat space so the there's no fighting for spots or discomfort of overcrowded classes. I do wish their cancellation is more flexible, you have to cancel 12 hours prior to class or get a cancellation fee. No show fee is greater than cancellation fee. I had a cancellation fee because I got the flu the morning of. I wish it was more like other sign-up classes like OTF/other CrossFit gyms where they allowed 2 hours cancelation prior to class without fee. But the cancellation fee is small. The instructors and staff are all knowledgeable and personable. Equipments seems to get fixed quick if there's issues. As someone with asthma, the spaces have great circulation, making it easier to focus on the workouts and not whether I can breathe. I do wish they have quick rinse showers by the whirlpool for those coming out of the sauna and steam room to rinse off before entering the whirlpool. Overall spaces are kept clean and tidy (way better than a couple of gyms I used to be a member of), layout is spacious where it doesn't feel like you're stacked on top of each other, has a good path flow to wander the gym.

One of my sisters goes to Sumits Hot Yoga and has been telling me for years that I should try it. I…read moredid not want to go to a class with other people, so when I saw that Hotworx lets you work out in private AND has 24/7 access I was all in. It was ridiculously easy to sign up for a membership, I was able to do everything online and then picked a time for my safety orientation at the studio where I paid and got my required gear. I got to meet the owner and the staff, and everybody was so professional, pleasant, and helpful. I'm a little baffled that anyone would have difficulty signing up for a membership, the website made it incredibly easy and I found all the information I needed. This location is super clean and everything works. The other members are polite and kind. I go almost everyday, I am psyched to be on the leaderboards and the summer burn challenge has been really fun. The app is easy to use. All the gear I've bought from them (heat-resistant mat, towels, row gloves) has been great. I'm looking forward to using my earn-the-burn points from the Summer Challenge to get some free swag. Hot iso and sauna training has been life-changing for me.

My experience with HOTWORX Centennial was extremely disappointing, not because of one mistake, but…read morebecause of how they chose to handle feedback afterward. I reached out multiple times trying to sign up for a membership and received no response. Instead of taking accountability or offering a professional apology, I later received a hostile and insulting response on Instagram after leaving an honest review. I was mocked for expecting communication from a business, accused of wanting "instant gratification," and told I was hurting their business over a "minuscule first world problem." That level of unprofessionalism speaks for itself. Businesses miss messages sometimes -- that's understandable. What is NOT understandable is attacking a potential customer personally for expressing frustration. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially in the fitness industry where people are looking for a welcoming and supportive environment. The response I received completely changed my perception of this studio and confirmed that I made the right decision not to join.
