I've been a member since February 26. The good - there are always lockers available, and there is always enough cardio equipment. The workout area is pretty clean. The bad - they hired Helen Keller to clean the locker/bathrooms and tanning beds. The tanning beds aré disgusting!! They are dirty and there is hair and smear marks on the inside of them. More than half (I counted 21) bulbs were out. I mentioned this to the staff last week, and this week. The same smear marks are on them as last week. Ewwww read more

I haven't been a member for a whole month yet but I'm loving everything so far. I opted for the Studio membership, which includes all the standard gym plus these Studio classes (LFT, FLOW and RED). LFT is where they hold strength training classes using barbell, dumbbells, etc. FLOW is yoga classes under infrared panels. And RED a HIIT training using both cardio equipment and weights. In addition you get unlimited 10 mins of massage chair time. I love the variety of classes and how they build you up. The ease of the app is great where you can sign up for your station or mat space so the there's no fighting for spots or discomfort of overcrowded classes. I do wish their cancellation is more flexible, you have to cancel 12 hours prior to class or get a cancellation fee. No show fee is greater than cancellation fee. I had a cancellation fee because I got the flu the morning of. I wish it was more like other sign-up classes like OTF/other CrossFit gyms where they allowed 2 hours cancelation prior to class without fee. But the cancellation fee is small. The instructors and staff are all knowledgeable and personable. Equipments seems to get fixed quick if there's issues. As someone with asthma, the spaces have great circulation, making it easier to focus on the workouts and not whether I can breathe. I do wish they have quick rinse showers by the whirlpool for those coming out of the sauna and steam room to rinse off before entering the whirlpool. Overall spaces are kept clean and tidy (way better than a couple of gyms I used to be a member of), layout is spacious where it doesn't feel like you're stacked on top of each other, has a good path flow to wander the gym. read more

I want to thank Vasa. Moved here from New England and gym member for over 20 years. My very first payment due at Vasa was 1 minute late, 12:01am on the 29th as I'm getting used to my new gym and BAM!!! They want to charge me 49.99. That's the mo they PLUS a $25 late fee!!! Never have I ever been charged a $25 late fee if I accidentally missed the payment. GOLDS GYM, EDGE FITNESS, even PLANET FITNESS will simply let you know the next check in. And you fix it on the spot. No big deal. Btw. Rarely have I even missed the monthly payment anywhere else. So I call their customer service number and the lady could not have been more RUDE or unhelpful. I told her, this is my first month...blah blah blah, and she did not care. 'It's in the fine print' $25 late fee, then she simply moved on with ' what else do you need?'.... Wow. Okay. So I went to my bank. We bLOCKED VASA from taking anything, and now I'm at CHUZE FITNESS in Highlands Ranch and wow!!! What a difference!! Clean LOCKER ROOMS that do not smell of piss!!! I called back to VASA and told the guy what happened and that now I have a new gym. He told me they could remove the $25 feet as a courtesy as I'm new, and asked why the first girl didn't offer? I don't know why. So rather than help me out, for a measly $25 bucks , now they won't get the full year. Smart!! That's how you run your businesses?? Sad. So thanks because I actually love CHUZE FITNESS in Highlands. This worked out well for me. ( maybe try to actually retain members. Not piss them off..) buh2-byeeeeeeee! read more

Visiting from out of town and went as a guest with a buddy for a workout. Awesome gym and my interaction with the staff was great. Plenty of equipment for workouts and they have different workout classes if you're interested in doing group activities instead. The massage chairs and sauna are awesome. I didn't use the pool but it was in a good shape during my visit. Shout out to Noelle (thank you). She was amazing. 10/10. I'd come back and if you're looking for a new gym or just somewhere to start, start here! You got this. read more

Lots of fees, they try to charge you any chance they get. Other than that not a bad gym. The showers need to be cleaned better. There's no excuse to have a gnarly shower at 6am at opening. Makes me wonder if it was cleaned overnight... they also need to mix up the music more often in studio classes. read more

Good crowd - its diverse enough so everyone can feel comfortable doing what they need to do. Sometimes the steam room did stink - I would stick to the machines and basketball court here. My boyfriend had a lot of fun with the basketball runs at this court. read more

Friendly stuff, the place is clean, most of the machines are working fine. It's just a great location with friendly people.

The Studio Lift class on Thursdays at 5:30pm with John Lewis is the absolute best class at VASA, and a personal favorite. John is an incredible instructor who is highly knowledgeable about anatomy, safety, and overall fitness. The environment is extremely motivating. Beginners get immediate support, and John takes the time to personally correct form during the workout. This class was so impressive that an invitation to my husband resulted in a brand-new gym membership right after. Highly recommend John's class for anyone looking to learn the right way to lift! read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with both the membership cancellation process and customer service was extremely disappointing. First, the cancellation process feels designed to keep members paying longer than expected. Despite wanting to cancel, I was ultimately required to continue paying for additional months before my membership would actually end. For anyone experiencing financial hardship, there appears to be very little flexibility or understanding. The focus seemed to be on collecting the remaining payments rather than working with members on a reasonable solution. The customer service experience only added to the frustration. I was simply trying to confirm that my cancellation had been processed correctly so there would be no surprises or unexpected charges down the road. Instead of receiving clear and professional assistance, I was met with a dismissive tone from Mary in Member Services. At one point, she asked, "Are they not coming through to you?" despite the fact that I had been actively responding to the email chain. Comments like that come across as condescending and unhelpful when a customer is simply seeking confirmation and clarification. I understand companies have policies, but there is a significant difference between enforcing policies and providing good customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like a number rather than a valued member. While my cancellation was eventually processed, the overall experience was frustrating enough that I would not recommend this gym to others. read more

I LOVE Vasa fitness and this location has everything. Two turf spots, a beautiful kettlebell selection and the deadlift and squat racks are plentiful. The front desk people are nice and inviting. The sauna and pool are also nice to visit every once in a while. Overall great gym and experience. I've been going to this gym for over a year and half and have always enjoyed the workout that I get with all the different equipment and space. The one thing I can't speak on too much is the mens locker room, I haven't used that much but it does seem to be pretty well kept and clean. Oh and the Vasa prices for membership are truly unbeatable for what you get. read more

VASA Fitness - Front - Gyms Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

There's an offputting amount of people constantly shitting in the men's bathroom at this gym. Sometimes so many there's actually a line. Just feet in the stall, all the time. It's bizarre read more

Great gym with very nice equipment and a super friendly staff. Location is easily accessible and everything is clean and tidy.

Good weightlifting gym. They generally stay on top of maintenance. They do a good job of changing the layout to suit the customers. They seem to refuse to up the dry sauna above 120 which is frustrating read more

My lock was cut and my purse and 59k car was stolen on Monday. Bathrooms ate always dirty and they allow theives.

I cannot believe VASA Fitness is cutting two of the most attended and beloved Rebel Strength classes at the Centennial location. These classes aren't just good--they're the backbone of the gym's energy, community, and success. People plan their lives around these classes. I know I do. Just last week, the Wednesday morning Rebel Strength class had over 30 people. The one right before it? Six. Let that sink in... Wanna hear the kicker? Management (Melissa, Lisa, and Amy) haven't just been silent--they've been smug. Like they're proud this change went through. Proud they're tearing out the core of what actually works. That level of tone-deafness is wild. I'm all for variety. Please, add new classes! However, don't gut what's already successful just to shuffle the deck. It's lazy. It's dismissive. It's a slap in the face to the people who actually show up, pay dues, bring friends and build community. VASA, you need to fix this. Before more of us walk away. read more

VASA Fitness - These classes VASA is cutting consistently draw 20-35 people. Makes perfect sense to git rid of them. - Gyms Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

This place is a total scam. All VASA cares about is sucking money out of you. If you cancel before 6 months, they slap you with a $25 fee. If you wait until after 6 months, they STILL steal another month's payment because they claim you need a "30-day notice." It doesn't matter what you do, they'll find a way to squeeze every last dollar out of you. It's shady, greedy, and straight-up bad business. The gym itself is just as awful. It's always packed like a zoo so good luck finding a machine that's not being used or waiting forever. The sauna smells disgusting, like mold and sweat, and the whole place feels dirty and unkept. For what they charge and how they treat people, it's absolutely pathetic. Don't waste your time or money here. VASA Fitness is nothing but scammers who hide behind fake rules and shady policies just to rob people blind. They should be ashamed of how they run this dump. read more

Overall terrible experience locker rooms are never clean and it's always over crowded to the point of waiting in lines for machines

Wish they would notify their members when something as big as the lap pool is closed. Just started getting back into swimming for cardio in the mornings and when I went into swim this morning at 6am the pool was closed. Very disappointing. read more

VASA Centennial is eliminating the only reason I'm still a member: the Rebel Strength classes on Monday evening and Wednesday morning. These classes aren't just popular--they're packed. They're led by incredible instructors, and they've been instrumental in helping me lose 80 pounds over the last two years. The decision to cancel these specific sessions in the name of "variety" is a slap in the face to loyal members. There are plenty of other lower-attendance time slots that could be adjusted. Instead, VASA is removing classes that clearly work, with no logical explanation. Over the past year, I've watched VASA strip away quality group fitness options in favor of pushing higher-cost "studio formats." This latest decision is the most blatant example yet of ignoring what members want--and need. VASA corporate might not care about individual voices, but I know I'm not alone in how I feel. If these classes go, I'm gone too, and I hope others speak up before this gym loses the very community that makes it great. read more

I've been a member for 3 years and it's a nice facility. I really enjoyed the Reb3l classes on Friday and Saturday but you canceled them. I'm going to cancel my membership because that was the only reason I used the facility. read more

I'm incredibly disappointed in what VASA is doing to its group fitness offerings--especially at the Centennial location on Quebec and County Line. I joined VASA after being diagnosed with Parkinson's. My medical team encouraged me to find strength-based classes that could support my mobility and long-term health. That's how I found the Rebel Strength classes--especially the Wednesday and Friday morning, along with the Monday night and Saturday sessions. Those classes literally helped change my life. I trained hard. I regained balance, and it allowed me to climb the Alcazaba in Spain--something I never thought would be possible again. That's what these classes helped me do. So, I can't begin to understand why VASA is cutting these class times back so totally. They're HIGHLY-attended, effective, taught by incredible instructors and filled with a community that shows up and supports one another. What more could you want from a fitness program? Allegedly, VASA says it wants "more variety," but that's a weak excuse. The real problem is the shift toward expensive Studio Formats while cutting real group classes that people want to attend and that work. As someone who's built and run multimillion-dollar companies, I get business--but this is short-sighted and out of touch. I'm not the only one who feels let down. If this is the direction VASA is heading, I won't be sticking around. read more

It's a mess here right now with renovations. And one thing that I definitely don't like is people sitting on the machines, not moving, just checking their phones endlessly. This is annoying, especially when they pretend not to notice that someone is waiting to use the machine. I have never experienced this at any other gym, because phone use was prohibited while working out. I don't know why they can't get off the machine and let someone else use it. And no, they're not doing it between sets. They do it when they're done. There's a pool, hot tub, and sauna, none of which I have tried yet, but plan on doing so soon. The locker room is okay, nothing special. Very basic. It is always crowded here, no matter when you go, apparently. Which makes the phone-checking squatters all the more irritating. There's a good number of machines, but only one of most. Generally, they're in good shape, although I think one that I used had a ripped seat. There isn't a wide selection of classes. There are no Pilates Reformer machines. There's a lot of treadmills and a couple of Stairmasters. There's a basketball court and free weights. The TRX station is in a far corner. There are very few ab machines. The training area is weirdly roped off. I do love the hydro massage chairs. But now you have to ask at the front desk to use them. You get 10 minutes. This is my reward for working out :) I think there are tanning booths, too. I've never seen anyone use them. It's an okay gym, not a great gym. There are no heavy bags for boxing (luckily, I have one at home) and not even a speed bag. I don't know if it can ever be a great gym, even after the renovations. But we shall see :) It would be an improvement if they prohibited phone use on the machines/workout floor. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They don't have trainers walking around to help with the machines, though. Maybe i was spoiled at my previous gyms:Tru Fit, Greenwood Athletic Club, and the Colorado Athletic Club. read more

You will regret joining this gym when you try to cancel. I've canceled through the app and continue to get billed monthly as well the annual fee. DO NOT sign up for personal training you will WASTE your money. VASA fitness does not have customer service. I signed up for a 3 months personal training which is fairly pricey to get back in shape after having my little one. Half way through my personal coach that I had built a relationship and knew my goals left, the new coach was not good, he could not remember what the macro was or just not being a coach more of a spectator of me working out, fast forward and I am almost done with my training cessions and without any communication notice or anything I am going to my scheduled cession only to be told "oh yeah this trainer left two days ago" no email, no call nothing. Well I asked for a credit for this cession (membership, store whatever they could do to make up) as it was our last cession and it was completely purposeless to have a new trainer for one cession. So again waste of money. The gym said well sorry corporate said they won't do any effort so I guess they made $45 for a service that they did not provide. Fast forward again weird charges on my account I brought it up to them on the phone and was told "oh yes you are right, we will issue you credit for the wrong charges" a week later nothing and I am told who did you talk to, we need to email corporate and ask for them to approve, like come one ! read more

Amongst other issues plaguing the "globogym" business model, the crowd being the biggest concern, this gym does have the necessary equipment and space to facilitate a proper workout with some skin splitting pumps. Prepare for lots of divorced dads hitting on younger women and the occasional fart blown towards your direction in times of high capacity. Farts aren't the worst thing; however if people are working out and don't seem receptive to conversation- please don't continuously bother them as if you are a surprise gift to their life. Staff here are remarkably chill, keep the clean wipes stocked properly and offer many classes that I have never taken. Also a free training session by people I assume who don't have the experience to contribute a positive workout session. Beyond that this location is typically quite clean, no fart smells or mildew to be smelt. Ain't nobody likes smelling some stinky mould or what seems to be a sewage main backup. Great location too! read more

Giving 4 stars because I just started going but will update up/down as I keep going. After reading all the horrible reviews, i was on high alert going to this gym. What I found was mostly good. Gym is clean. The employees hand out cleaning wipes and everybody i saw just wipes down equipment after use. Coaches in Studio Red are friendly and not overly aggressive. I did see crowds around 5:30, but I don't think a gym that's under $100/mo is going to ever be not crowded after work. All the closures/construction people were complaining about appears to be done and now the gym's nice and renovated. I'd give it a shot. read more

I have been going to vasa for about a year. I am a senior citizen and it great here plenty of classes equipment a pool. Facility is a mess, it's always crowded, it always seems generally unclean and gross. The hot-tub and steam room always smell and it does nene seem like they are stopping non premium members from entering the pool Sauna steam room area, This makes sure that the sauna and steam rooms are always full and stinky. They also have a lot of fine print hidden in any contract they make you sign when getting there. When signing up employees are often rude forcing you to sign up online but not just for signing up, employees are always rude and generally unfriendly towards guests. I will be taking my business elsewhere read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. The management and employees here genuinely don't care about anything aside from getting as many people in the door as possible, what happens after that is blatantly ignored. There are some aggressive, entitled gym goers here and nothing is done aside from the employees recommending I go to one of their other locations, which are way out of my way. The other reviews about it being ungodly busy and unclean are also true. There's usually a leak in the ceiling, many of the bathroom stalls don't lock, and there's a bunch of rips in the seats of equipment. read more

I have been a member here for several years. firstly, I am a retired army veteran and have very sensitive ears to sound due to years of being down range. I have been attending the Zumba class on Friday; taught by Lisa. Many times during this class the music is too loud for me, but I tolerate it, but there is a point where truly affects me physically. Maybe it's about acoustics, but maybe it's the instructor. Today Lisa asked Was the music too loud and I said yes because honestly, it affects me physically She turned it down for the first few minutes asked me to go to the middle of the room saying it wouldn't be as loud so I did; but within minutes of the first song, she turned the music back up. This quite honestly is not the first time this is happened where the music is simply so loud that I can't handle it handle it because of my disability from the military previously Lise said tell me if the music is too Loud; well clearly she doesn't really care. It's just a matter of their format I guess. Kindly note I'd I'm not the only person in the class that thinks the music is too loud, but apparently that doesn't matter as long as the instructor gets what they want. I also belong to Lifetime fitness and highly recommended Lifetime over VASA any day of the week. VASA could really use some guidance from lifetime fitness You will never attend a class at lifetime fitness and have an instructor Ignore a customer needs or request.. in addition, VASA is not the cleanest gym I've ever been in often times I've gone to the toilet and there aren't any hand towels to dry your hands after washing them let alone the place is just not clean. Not sure if they have a person cleaning but it doesn't appear so. In these days when sanitation is a priority to not spread germs, specifically viruses. If you're looking for a good gym, I highly recommend Llifetime fitness . Lifetime seems to have studied the needs of their customers and implement them. Also, Lifetime fitness instructors are true professionals in every sense of the word; they actually place their customers first unlike VASA fitness at this location. read more

Overall I like this Vasa location. Staff is almost always friendly. Not quite certain why a lot of these posts seem to be about the patrons. It's a big box gym with relatively inexpensive membership fees, sorry the other gym goers don't act like those at your country club ‍. I find almost everyone I have interacted with to be polite and willing to accommodate a work-in or to let me know how many sets they have remaining. So why only 3 , basic cleaning and stocking. The cleaning wipes are routinely out. Perhaps a better system to indicate when a station is empty. Also the bins for the wipes are almost always overflowing. The soap dispenser in the restroom is routinely empty. Fix those things and I'll happily change this to a 5... well maybe a 4. I think you'd need to actively change bad patron habits to get a 5. Cheers and have a great workout! read more
