The facility is very nice. It's only 2 years old so equipment is in great shape. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Most classes play the music so loud that you can barely hear the instructor or the instructor has to yell on top of the music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Many times my watch shows a decibel level of 97+ decibels. That is not healthy. The cafe there has a motto that says, "if it's here it's healthy". That is not true with the classes because the music is so loud it will damage your hearing and nobody wants that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And nobody wants the instructor to be yelling constantly. I've been going to this gym for years now and seen very little improvement. For over $200 a month the equipment needs to be improved upon. One smith machine is crazy. There is way too much room dedicated to classes at this gym as well. Good luck trying to get an actual lift in when they have the vast majority of the platforms reserved. Cleanliness gets a 2/10. Stop sending teenagers to clean the gym floor in the middle of the day, it makes it extremely annoying to work out. No one likes breathing in those chemicals, or having a broom basically under their foot mid workout. They should really have an after hours cleaning team come in considering this is a "luxury" gym. I understand the casual cleaning but a midday deep clean should not be done at the detriment of those working out. It's also weird because there is still so much dust all over this place. The men here are much creepier than other locations, I've had multiple of them make weird comments and witnessed them recording women. I've gone to a variety of gym around Colorado, including other Lifetime locations, and haven't seen this behavior as much in those other places. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The major saving grace of this gym is that the staff is very friendly. One of the things I like most about Colorado is the people and the laid-back and friendly attitudes. I'm happy to announce that lifetime finally got some mag style attachments. It was probably one of the trainers who just purchased some & put them for everyone to use, So thank you. This location also has switched out all their step mills for some new super short stair masters. Horrible idea!!! These things are super short, have weird handles. The steps are super tight, and the new railings are so narrow. So if you have hips and/or not a skinny mini, your thighs will constantly rub or bump into the side rails constantly while walking on these new badly designed stair steppers. The stairs are shorter also, so most of your foot will be handing off the edge. The worst part about the new stair steppers is that they don't have a fan on them like the original older ones. When you are walking on these over time, you get hot & it was always nice to put the personal fan on not to get too hot and continue your long cardio. Since they are getting new things, can we focus on all of the equipment leather pads they are peeling and cracking still. It sucks to pay all this money for a club with subpar & damaged equipment most of the year. Word on the street is that they are turning one of the hot tub/spas to a cold pledge pool finally. It was said they are going to turn the one with the broken jets to one. It's interesting because the jets in both are bad now. The jets got a lot weaker on the right one that actually used to work for years. Again, too much focus on pickleball. It's a gym, not a pickleball country club. So please start fixing all the constant broken equipment, fix the leather pads, get additional cable machines attachments (80% are old & outdated) cleaner bathrooms, have towels always on hand, and for the love of God clean your airduct vents throughout the building & bathrooms. No one needs to see and breathe all the dust bunnies all the time. A company that used to clean them showed me pictures of how bad most are at this location. read more

It is what it is...and that's just what you should expect. The Men's locker room has old, beat lockers. The first time I was at this location, my locker got stuck. When I called the front desk to ask for someone to help, nobody came. Half of the members wipe off their machines, half don't. There is nobody on call actively cleaning the workout floor - at least that you can see. Machines break down time to time but are up and running pretty quickly. Amenities are ok. Complimentary training session is BS - it's just meant to take your vitals to sell you personal training sessions. They won't help you with a routine. The sauna and steam room are a bit gross, hair is in lockers, and it's just not very cleanly. Honestly, this is what I expected. It's disappointing you have to pay this much for what you get. Oh well. No incentive to make it better = no change in the future. read more

Today was my first visit at this LT location and it was amazing! I came in and everything was set up like the one back home. I like that every LT location is pretty much set up the same way so that everything is easy to find when visiting another one of their gyms. Every staff member I saw was friendly and smiling and gym members were respectful of one another. The gym equipment itself looked brand new as if had just been put on the floor recently. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be going to this gym but glad I was able to visit and check it out. I will definitely be visiting this location again sometime very soon. We have a new program with our medical insurance called One Pass (OP) and we were excited to see that Life Time (LT) was on the list of participants. OP allows use of participating gym facilities with no extra fee. We went to the LT facility on Dry Creek in Centennial for a drop-in tour. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The front desk employee said we could walk around and by the way, he did not offer a personal tour, and went on to say that they did not have the OP limited access but a different membership where OP participants would pay a $100 monthly fee if we decided to be members[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well we did walk around and before we left, no one offered to follow up to 'sell' a membership to us or to check if we had questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I got home I logged in to my OP portal and sent an inquiry to them about what we had been told about paying a fee for a LT membership.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also went to the LT website and found a page where I could sign up go be on a waitlist for membership. Within 5 minutes I received an email that said "Thank you for your interest in Life Time! As you know, memberships at this location are on a waitlist with limited availability. Currently, the membership type you selected has exceeded capacity and is not available at this time." First of all I did not know memberships at Dry Creek had limited availability[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The very next day, Sunday, I received a call from LT, at 8:40 am, saying they were following up and noticed I was on the waitlist and asked if I had any questions[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I explained what I experienced and what had been explained about the $100 fee and about the email. The caller said that she did not know of any membership capacity limits and that she had just enrolled a new member. Secondly, she said that OP participants did not have fees. Thirdly, she thought that the email I received was probably an automatic generated email response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She said she would confirm with her supervisor all that she told me and send me an email. 5 days later, I am still waiting for a follow-up email.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So, I called on Friday and spoke to someone that said he was the Mgr and he said that Dry Creek LT does not participate in OP. He would follow up with the person that called me on Sunday and send me an email.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]In the meantime, I asked to be transferred to his Mgr and he sent me to # where a recording asked for my ID# and pin. No greeting identitying their title or department. I have been to the other "onyx" club in flatirons. the plat in parker. and two in AZ. been a member on and off for 10 years at this point. This is the WORST lifetime there is. insanely dirty, the steam room barely works and when it does its way overheated. I have never seen the locker room area be "clean" the lifting is pretty good though, lots of racks and benches. this is a plat club with lotion, no hot tubs in locker room either, towels always have hair or something on them. The "amenities" that make it an onyx club are not good products at all either. Some of the front desk associates are the rudest people I've encountered in service industries. and the guys who sign you up are just... Management needs to do something. read more

Incredibly predatory with unwelcoming, unkind, and sexist staff. After expressing interest in this gym online, I got flooded with a deluge of marketing emails and phone calls to an irritating degree. However, once I went to the gym to take a tour, it was the most unwelcoming I have ever been made to feel in all of my life, no exaggeration. The tour was rushed and no information was offered. If I asked to take a look at something, I got an eye roll, and the tour person didn't accompany me, but sat down to look at his phone while I had to explore the facilities by myself. He clearly didn't want to be helping me, and when I was in his office and other staff came to ask a question, he would point at me and roll his eyes to indicate he was busy. He had zero interest in actually helping me sign up - he actually seemed to be trying to get me to leave without joining? It appeared this may be the case after it came to light that he had been the one placing the marketing calls, and I asked for the calls to stop. The poor treatment I was receiving seemed to be a vindictive response, and his hostile attitude towards me was pre-determined. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I can't remember the last time I was treated with this type of disdain and impatience. We immediately looked for other gym options and found several. During each tour, we were treated with kindness, warmth and a genuine desire to help. Choosing another gym was a no-brainer. I don't care how amazing the facilities are, if I don't feel safe or welcome, it's not going to feel ok. read more

I guess I should start by saying we ended our membership. We were members for a year and a half, and as we got to know the culture of this gym, it became less and less pleasant to even go and work out. There was a billing issue ($1500) and the manager (Joe) in training department was gas lighting us in every way shape & form denying any of the issues he caused. While my wonderful trainer (Naz) was out of the country and I was out of the country he decided to charge us for things that we did not approve. If anything, it was the exact opposite of what was agreed to when I went there after everything got settled, the management staff made everything incredibly uncomfortable. Joe was unable to make eye contact with us and anytime we entered the training floor he would run away. As entertaining as his cowardice was, it became very uncomfortable. To go and do self-care in a place with somebody so toxic is not my jam. So we ended our membership. Our neighbors also canceled their membership for their own issues surrounding the lack of sanitary practices and predictable environment of this lifetime location. Yes, there are a handful of really great people here but the operations and management are so disgusting that you couldn't pay me to be a part of this gym. read more

Beg members to lobby city council to allow construction of outdoor pickle ball courts and then charge $100 more per month to play pickle ball (when it used to be free during open play). He's the director and "friend" of the CEO. This company has countless lawsuits against them for failure to pay their employees. We had an issue with a very important backpack that I left behind at the locker room. Dan the manager was awesome! He really made me feel appreciate as a member. He went beyond my expectations! And I truly appreciate all the effort he put on to find it. Also Tina at front desk was very helpful! She recommended me to contact the manager and she was right! She was truly concerned about the situation and wanted to help. Also the cycle class with Josh is GREAT! He guides you through the class and even for a beginner like me, he makes your feel welcome. He helped me set my bike so I would not injure my body. He really made me work hard! Love it! I had a massage with Dustin at the SPA and he is amazing! It is truly a new way to heal your body. I've been to 3 Lifetimes in Colorado, and this one is the dirtiest and has the rudest staff. It's almost always packed with teenage boys that pee on the floors, leave weights on machines, don't wipe up, and crowd 4-5 boys around equipment, making it hard to get around. It's an unwelcome environment and your car will get damaged in the parking lot by careless Highlands Ranch people. The kids center has an openly hostile girl working there who clearly hates kids. They don't separate the toddlers by size or age and let the older kids who can talk (and bully) in with the small toddlers. I told the kids center manager and she responded that partitions separating the kids are "dangerous". It's poorly managed and they hire VERY poorly. read more

I can't pay for it and I asked to to cancel but they keep on tacking on the bill every month for the last three months. When I said I can't pay anything the operator Patrick asked if I could pick up a part time job or ask to borrow money to pay!?! So incredibly rude.. I have three jobs! And have bills and rent to pay. This club is ASTONISHGLY overpriced for what is being offered here. On the outside and while on a brief tour, it may look quite nice at first glance--they certainly did an excellent job siting the gym to face the mountains with the outdoor pool to match. The problem is that I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars each month just to look at a nice view I can see from my (free) public park nearby. The issues: 1) a) The cardio equipment is kept in extremely poor repair. The vast majority of machines """appear""" functional, but attempting to use them will quickly reveal high-pitched squeaking, unbalanced parts, unpredictable and sudden software shutdowns mid-workout, or bizarre instances of friction inside of a single cycle of a treadmill, bike, etc. Repeated complaints to management leads to them actually making a sincere effort to "repair" them, but these "repairs" are too often simply deep-clean jobs that merely "grease the wheels", as it were, metaphorically adding a bit of sawdust to the motor area in order to preserve the visual and auditory illusion that everything is fine, when the issue is that the machines simply need to be entirely replaced with brand-new models. b) With the prices they charge and how crowded this gym gets, there are zero excuses for them not spending top-dollar on some brand-new cardio equipment every year--I can't recall ever seeing any of the core equipment being replaced with newer models in the past several years. Perhaps they've bought (decade-old) models to replace the current ones, but I couldn't tell. Only about one machine in four actually functions close to how it should, and it quickly becomes obvious which those are given patterns of use whenever I observe which machines are open on any given day. This is a disgustingly cynical policy by management that reveals how little they care about the safety of their members. 2) They apparently feel the need to do serious maintenance (that dramatically impedes use of the facilities) during open hours when members are still actively exercising. I can't tell you how many times I've been there late at night and they've started spraying nasty chemicals everywhere, rooting up dust from the ceiling, using high-pitched drills to make endless holes in the wall (for hours on end), or closing down *the entire locker room* before closing time without notice. It was unbelievable that when I went in there to grab my car keys to depart before closing time, one of the workers had the nerve to berate me as "causing a safety hazard" for simply walking to my locker and retrieving my belongings. If you need to close the gym early, send an email--don't leave a hastily scribbled handwritten message on the doorway indicating half the club is unusable for one reason or another due to poor planning on your part. Why should the pool or both hot tubs be entirely unusable during open hours without prior notice, when there is clearly no emergency rationalizing such? Who knows. 3) The shower area is incredibly unsafe due to poor floor design. The water pools in walking areas due to the uneven nature of the floor and lack of sufficient drainage, leading to a constant slipping risk whenever one is simply attempting to wash off after a workout. It's even worse when the showers are spray cleaned with soap while members are still there; huge amounts of soapy water in the walkways turns a nice wind-down shower to a "the floor is hot lava" game that couldn't be more unpleasant to deal with when cold, exhausted, and sleepy in the half-hour before midnight they decide to inflict this challenge upon me near-nightly. 4) The newest employees frequently act like I am inconveniencing them for simply existing several yards away, in the same room where they are walking through while mostly staring at their smartphones. Raise your wages to attract better behaved employees, LT, and everyone will be happy. We know you can afford it. 5) They consistently raise prices without ever increasing amenities or (apparently) employee pay. They waste enormous resources on """pickleball""" and a ridiculous """workspace""" area, both of which are only used by retirees for the former who get a free membership via Medicare (apparently this is the population that provides them with the greatest profits) and their own employees (because they had to demolish their offices to make room for this nonsense """workspace"""). You will be nickel-and-dimed for simply continuing to be a member, on top of being force-fed their nasty advertising in every direction. Disgustingly hostile to the "resort" vibes they try to portray in their advertising. Now you may be wondering--why am I still a member here if there are this many problems? The issue lies in that there are no other general-membership clubs in the area that are open this late that also offer standard gym equipment. The one selling point that keeps me on the hook here is that they are open past 10 PM each day. read more

I like the gym overall but I've never been apart of a gym until this one where No One Wipes Down Anything (mats, equipment, nothing). It's disgusting, particularly during a pandemic. I wish the employees would enforce cleanliness policies but I just saw a trainer get off a stair master without wiping it down so I guess the employees don't care either. The Lifetime club is very nice. I really like their "no-pressure sales" approach. We were given the tour and prices and then were told that we can just sign up online whenever we are ready. Awful gym for how much you pay, cost me and my wife $200 a month for a gym that's equipment is always broken. We've been going here for over 6months and one of the machines by biceps have been broken for the entirety of the time. Sanitary wipes are constantly out, broken, taken off the wall, etc. Hot tubs are consistently out of service, suanas are always cold. The entire gym caters to a certain age group and removed an entire basketball court just to increase pickle-ball courts. Half of the basketball courts are consistently taken up by training and if you want to play you need to come at an inconvenient time. read more

My wife and I have decided to leave lifetime. LIfetime isn't sad to see you go, they don't even bother to challenge the decision. They are more than happy to see a customer go (seems odd). Why am I leaving? family and cost First the cost. Lifetime for my household (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant) is upwards of $130 or so a month. This is pretty high. The recreation center I'm moving to is about 1/2 the cost (and I'm not in the area). Second the family. Our main reason of lifetime vs. a traditional gym is the toddler friendly zero entry pool. It was worth more to get that. Of course, the new place has a toddler zero entry, "water playground" and indoor slides. Here is the thing they don't really tell you. Family hours are VERY limited. Tuesday and thursday just 11 - 3. Outside of 11-3 they won't let you and your kid swim. On M/W/F they are later in the day. . .but still. The recenter is open morning to 8pm every day. . Then they close the pool for random reasons. THey say they are open "regular hours" on new years eve, then they don't have ANY time I can swim with my kid. Its always frustrating. They have arbitrary rules (no swiming noodles, no snorkles) that the lifeguard just shrugs and says "i have no idea but THEY don't want it" Then during the summer they close the indoor pool. You would think a "health" place would think that sometimes parents don't want to expose their toddlers to the Colorado sun mid day. So for $60 bucks less a month I don't get towel service, but I get a better pool. .open per our timeline. . . thanks but no thanks lifetime. read more

My family has been a member for 3-4 years...2-3 years longer than any gym membership we have owned over the past 20 years of marriage. I went to a spin class last night. Professional, clean, and inviting. Always. My wife routinely goes to yoga and spin classes. This year we converted to tennis members. They have the most amazing indoor courts in Colorado. My son and wife have already tried the outdoor courts, including clay, and love them too. My one complaint-EXPENSIVE. In fact, almost double the price of a lifetime tennis membership in CO Springs. Hard to justify, but so far keeping the membership...but mainly because its 2 minutes away by car. read more
