If you are looking for a personal trainer that actually does weight training and won't take it easy…read moreon you, Brandon is a great one. He doesn't just force all of his clients to do the same thing, he tailors a workout regimen to the client's needs. He will give you as much information as you want about the approach he is taking, why you're doing what you're doing, and even give you as many pointers about personal health habits that need improving in or out of training. He's pretty flexible when it comes to what days/times you want to come in and will keep up with your schedule to make it work. He's also pretty down to earth and fun to talk to while you're training, all the while making you work. It's easier to work out if you're distracted from the pain, I think, so it's a good characteristic for a trainer. It's definitely worth it.

I have been working with Brandon for a couple of months and love our workouts. I used to go to…read moreboot camps and work out on my own at a big-box gym doing circuits and cardio. But, I wasn't making progress. Then I met Brandon. He is incredible. He uses old school weight training which is so much better then circuits. Aside from circuits, I had never lifted weights before. We started with weights low enough where I felt comfortable and then quickly started increasing weight. He knows how hard to push you so you improve, but do not get hurt. Brandon brings an abundance of training and experience to the table. He is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the muscles groups and focuses on working all of them out. He has a way of explaining the movements so you can visualize how the exercise is working out the muscles. He is also very patient. He doesn't mind repeating the same thing over and over until I get it. If you want serious no-nonsense weight training with a true professional, Brandon is your man!

It's only 2 years old so equipment is in great shape…read more Most classes play the music so loud that you can barely hear the instructor or the instructor has to yell on top of the music. Many times my watch shows a decibel level of 97+ decibels. That is not healthy. The cafe there has a motto that says, "if it's here it's healthy". That is not true with the classes because the music is so loud it will damage your hearing and nobody wants that. And nobody wants the instructor to be yelling constantly. That is not motivating. This happens in more than one class with more than one instructor. Not sure what they are thinking.

I've been going to this gym for years now and seen very little improvement. For over $200 a month…read morethe equipment needs to be improved upon. One smith machine is crazy. There is way too much room dedicated to classes at this gym as well. Good luck trying to get an actual lift in when they have the vast majority of the platforms reserved. Cleanliness gets a 2/10. Stop sending teenagers to clean the gym floor in the middle of the day, it makes it extremely annoying to work out. No one likes breathing in those chemicals, or having a broom basically under their foot mid workout. They should really have an after hours cleaning team come in considering this is a "luxury" gym. I understand the casual cleaning but a midday deep clean should not be done at the detriment of those working out. It's also weird because there is still so much dust all over this place. The men here are much creepier than other locations, I've had multiple of them make weird comments and witnessed them recording women. I've gone to a variety of gym around Colorado, including other Lifetime locations, and haven't seen this behavior as much in those other places. The major saving grace of this gym is that the staff is very friendly. The trainers are approachable and the newer ones are very knowledgeable. All this being said, I do still drop into this gym when I'm in the area but do not enjoy working out here nearly as much as other gyms.

I view myself as uncoordinated, and I didn't know if this was the best route for me. I gained 25 pounds in the last 6 years and lost my self-confidence. Eli's personality, motivational training style, and extensive nutrition knowledge allowed me to reach my goals. I train with Eli 3 times a week. I lost 25 pounds in the first 4 months and reached my goal weight of 122 pounds. Eli put me at ease at my first appointment and continues to put me at ease. I had him over at my place the other night, and unbeknownst to me, Michael took it upon himself to steal a personal item of mine that did not belong to him. It's a true slap in the face when you open your doors to someone just for them to have an inside hidden agenda that they were going to steal something from you. He has a nice body, but his dick is literally the size of my pinky finger and has absolutely nothing going for himself. I meant to say if you book a session with him just please don't bring anything with you at all. He may steal it. Things like: headphones, hair clipper set, cologne, anything that is easy to carry in his pockets. Ultimately, I hate that I had to go through this because I genuinely felt that he was a great guy but considering the fact that he lied to me about his actual name was enough for me right there. So pleasFe safe yourself the heartache and DO NOT BOOK MICHAEL SIMUNACI.

I've been coming to OTF since Feb '15. I tried this place on a 4 pack "trial pack" in Dec, then…read moretried out a CrossFit place in Jan. Chose OTF due to convenience and need to build up some cardio stamina (although I like the idea of CrossFit). Definitely have seen a major transformation in my fitness and cardio health since coming here. I went from hating the treadmill to grudgingly accepting it. Heck, I even just completed a 5K. Well I did walk part of it, but still...let's put it this way, 5K was never in my vocabulary. I also get some real good ideas on exercises I can mix in to a more traditional strength training routine. Others have covered the OTF "theory" and workout in their reviews. For this particular location: -- Front Desk staff is awesome. Need a last minute schedule change? CALL and they'll get your scheduled fixed if possible at no cost. They also do a good job trying to learn their members' names. Nice touch on that. -- "Coaches" are for the most part friendly and approachable. Definitely try to get into a smaller class (2 groups) as the coach will have a bit more time to check/correct your form for the rowers and various weight exercises. Larger classes (3 groups) you're a bit more on your own. Like any place, you'll prefer some coaches over others. It is what it is. Definitely try to do the cool down stretching at the end of the class. -- Space. 2 groups is fine, 3 large groups gets cramped, especially if you're hopping off your rower to do some other exercise right in front of the rower, or if you're in the weight area doing a TRX exercise with 10 or so people simultaneously trying to do the same exercise. $100/month for 8 classes is definitely more expensive than a monthly membership at the local gym or rec center. In a way, that cost motivates me to make sure I get my 8 classes in. Membership is month-to-month. You can go to other OTFs from what I understand (there may be a fee in some cases). So if you come here, you will lose weight and you will improve your cardio fitness. I think an ideal mix would be OTF 2x a week and separate strength training 2x a week. I still want to give CrossFit another try, but you can't go wrong joining OTF.

The studio is conveniently close but after my experience at this one, I won't be coming back. The front staff were kinda rude and when I explained this was my first time to this studio and first workout in a while, they were dismissive and not helpful in letting me know where anything was. I probably was nervous because this was my first big girl workout after having a baby, but when I didn't know where the lockers were, one of the members told me where and I heard the two ladies at the desk giggle and say "She's so lost." Wasn't a very welcoming experience. The instructor was fine, but a lady was there for her first class and fell off the treadmill. The instructor seemed to reprimand her more than ask how she was doing. Overall, I might give OTF another try because I like their workout formats, but never again here.
