We walked in a Saturday morning and it wasnt crowded at all. we tried on the different Mehta products - the staff was friendly and helped us out. The big secret in the store is their secret coffee and Matcha bar. We tried a coffee latte and a Matcha latte. Both were on the sweeter side but were tasty. I popped into the Meta Lab this week with my friend to check out the latest Meta Glasses. Ya girl is getting meta-glassed-up! The staff was so nice when we went in! Warmly greeted and then not followed around or trying to hard sell - it was a really welcome feeling. Funnily though when one Rep saw us trying to get the transition lenses to change, he saw and came to help us! Everyone here was so knowledgeable and friendly - perfect level of customer service. The shop itself is super clean and organized giving genius bar vibes. They had a lot of cool stuff like a finger skateboard park (hahaha) and an immersive mirrored room. Bizzare but I liked it all! I was able to easily try on various styles of glasses to find what I liked best, mirrors abound for ease. I didn't even know they had transition lenses so I can have glasses AND sunglasses! I thought it was either/or before checking out the store, so I'm very happy! Overall, fabulous experience at the Meta Lab. I'm SO excited to get those Meta Glasses and start recording~! read more

This is a great spot to browse and see what's new with Meta glasses. Everyone was friendly, and they even had treats ready for our dog! We got to try on new glasses, take photos and videos in the mirror room, and check out a VR game. If you already own a pair of Meta glasses, bring your case to get it customized. They offer ready-made design templates, and the whole process only takes about 10-15 minutes. There's also a café and seating area where you can relax while you wait. Did I drive all the way from Orange County to here just to get my Ray Ban Meta cases engraved? DAMN RIGHT I DID. As soon as you walk inside, go to your right and the engraving station is ready for use. They only have a limited number of icons to engrave but from what the staff said, it's bound for a change in the summer. At least you can put any type of text you want, but again with their limited font selection. After 10 minutes your case should be good to go and you get a special container to keep it safe when you pick it up. The space is very grand and so much demos to explore. Make sure you go upstairs and reserve a slot for the VR though as they go fast. read more

Many fun stuffs to explore, obviously with the meta glasses and exploring it's functionality, but the genius idea behind how they're all presented made it certainly going next level. We popped in just to take a look around and it was such a cool experience that exceeded our expectations! We tried on some meta glasses on the 1st floor, in addition to an immersive room, and then went upstairs to try on the virtual reality headset. Steve was our wonderful and knowledgeable guide who showed us how to watch YouTube, play mini golf, and experience an interactive concert! He was patient, kind, and we really enjoyed our experience. WOW! Had no idea this place existed until today. Decided to pull over, park and check it out. Glad I did! Door greeters super friendly and welcoming. Henry helped me out when I came in and gave 5 star service. I asked him some questions and he was beyond helpful and started gaming me up on the products, experience options, engraving etc...! Isa (Isabelle) was incredibly friendly and kind. She made an amazing vanilla latte and we had a fun conversation. I like how everyone was chill, relatable, love the white lab coat but fun vibe. Whoever is doing the hiring is on point. I ended up grabbing my meta glasses from the car. Got to engrave my case for free, checked out the immersive experience, used my glasses to explore. The $25 gift card apparently has been activated before you receive it and used probably. Someone in that circle is probably stealing it before they give it out. I was lucky when I went in soon after they opened to purchase the Meta Displays. I had an appointment I made at the Ray-Ban Store, which I had to make a month out, and upon arriving at the Ray-Ban Store I was told in advance that I could only demo the glasses and not purchase because they were out of stock. They advised that the Meta Lab Store has better inventory, so I rushed over, luckily it wasn't busy, got to walk in, do a demo, and purchased the glasses on the spot! Be advised though... This store is mostly a sales location. Don't expect any support or customer service on purchased products here. I returned because the neural band charger was defective from the start. I was directed to go through Support on the app because they are not set up to access Support inquiries. Long story short, I finally got someone to reply to my inquiry by email, it took a week for the replacement charger to be sent. I received it and was excited to not have charging issues, but highly disappointed because the replacement charger had the exact same issue. I attributed the fault on the poor design of the neural band charger. The cord is perpendicular to the charging base, which can easily cause stress to the internal wiring. On both of the chargers I have, I must pinch the cord around close to the charger base until I get a charging status in the app. 70% of the time, the band charges to capacity over night, but some mornings, it somehow loses that connection and doesn't charge. Quite irritating, but just know that the neural band chargers have a high chance of being defective. I have made a few complaints to support about the design and hopefully they'll eventually fix the design. read more

We came here for a team outing and was overall really cool. Henry repeated everything about the glasses about 5 times, pretty much any time a new remember showed up. He was patient and funny and taught us some cool tricks. We also loved the coffee! read more

Been thinking of getting the meta glasses for a while but wasn't sure which style and configurations I wanted so when my husband said he's gifting it to me for Christmas, I dragged him to the meta lab to get a feel of their entire collection! So glad we did this as we were able to try on their glasses. Their staff were welcoming and eager to assist us with whatever we needed/had questions about. Special kudos to Julian from the custom lab who set us up right away with prescription glasses personalized to our needs. He even put it our insurance so the coverage was applied instantly, which was so convenient. My husband even decided to get his own pair that same day! Julian explained the entire ordering process and once our glasses were ready for pickup (about 2 weeks), we came back and he set us up with personalized cases with engravings and gave us metal tins to place our boxes in. We also enjoyed the interactive spaces they offered around the store! Oh, and they have designated parking at the back, which is a plus for WeHo! Definitely recommend the meta lab to everyone interested! read more

Steven in the Quest VR section was amazing. Me and my friend came in to check out Meta Labs and were very well taken care of by him. He showed us many of the functions, the different experiences we could have through VR, and helped us navigate the software effectively. Never previously considered buying a VR headset before but am definitely thinking of it now. The Lab as a whole is honestly a great idea with the free AI stickers, the variety of glasses to try, the cafe, the pinball room, and the immersive mirror room. read more

The place itself physically was really cool and the coffee shop inside smelled really good but this place really lacked in service. Walked in with two friends who were looking to buy glasses just to be ignored until we hawked a worker down that was busy talking to the barista off to the side. It shouldn't take us doing that for them to see we really wanted to purchase but had no one show interest in helping us. They want to compete with apple but at least at the apple store they wanna sell you the products, even the person who helped both my friends buy their products didn't seem too hyped that they were making purchases. Overall just wouldn't bother coming back here unless i wanted to try physically try some styles on, the whole experience of purchasing was awful. read more

Been wanting to come to a Meta lab for awhile to try on and find the Meta 2 glasses. Melrose California location was near while on vacation and took the 1.5 hr drive over to only be Profiled because we wasn't dressed for the area. Workers gave attitude and didn't want to engage with us to help us find what we wanted. Found 2 workers that actually gave us alot of information we needed and helped get us the glasses we came for. I love my Glasses but not the workers who refused to engage with us while making a expensive purchase!!! read more

What a poor excuse for a manager, how does Meta vet their employees? Especially if you're a manager representing such a large company... I've never been so poorly spoken to or treated as if she's doing me a huge favor by selling me these glasses. If you're in store to purchase a pair, I'd recommend you finding another location. Very poor job, Meta. Super disappointed with the lack of respect that your employee/manager shows your customers and FYI, while in the store there was another customer complaining about the same manager and how rude she was to them as well. read more

Evil company! No phone numbers, for "In Store Experience. Can't get more low class anti-professional and utterly cheep than that. They also list 8600 Santa Monica Blvd as their Flagship store but address doesn't exist! They sent us a box with 4 new pairs of Oakley style but I may forget them and just keep 4 free pairs. Lot better than dealing with such a low class company than to trying to go hunt them down. The box has labels all saying 8600 SANTA MONICA BLVD. These people can't even figure out what address they are. So much for the loser's "in store experience". Unless you have to, don't buy their garbage as they surely don't support anything. What could improve = everything!!!! read more
