Was in the area a couple of weekends ago and my sons glasses is somehow loose so we were trying to find a place for repair. This shop popped up as highly rated for repair so we stopped by. My son's prescription glasses is a Japanese brand with no local store here in the US. He looked at it and said he will need time to repair it, I explained that we're not from the area and we were hoping to get it the same day. He showed us the problems and told us he will need more time. However he did a quick fix to tighten it and told us to return when we have more time. Highly recommend if you need any eye glasses service. Thanks read more

Found this place to add nose pads to glasses I got online because I love the style but have a low bridge so didn't want glasses on my cheeks. Dropped off Monday and they were ready by Wednesday. Amazing clean service and they adjusted it for me when I picked up. Reasonably priced as well for joe meticulous and clean of a job that was done. Coming back for my next pair soon!!! read more

Master's Optical - Nose Pads Addition - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Los Angeles, California

First rate craftsmanship and service! Convenient location. Highly recommend this small business

I don't even live in the neighborhood but it's worth the drive for me. They're that good. I work on fine detailed objects. My eyesight is highly sensitive. I am very very picky about tint color as well. I am absolutely astonished by the quality of measurement and lenses that I got from masters optical. So much so that I came back and changed all of my other progressive lenses despite having paid higher prices for those. It just doesn't match the excellent quality of work done here. Now all of my glasses match and have the same level of sharpness I am accustomed to. Absolutely fantastic work. read more

If you need any work on your glasses or help finding the right lenses this is the place in LA to go. If you are looking to refurbish older frames that you have searched for for years and have finally found, this is the place to bring them. And if you are looking to have this wide variety of work done in a timely fashion and at a fair price, this is the only place to go in LA. read more

I have many pairs of glasses acquired both in and out of California and this place is, without doubt, the most knowledgeable in all aspects of eyeglasses; the materials that go into making them and lenses and how best to order, fit, maintain and use them. It offers by far and away the most helpful service and best value of any optical store I have ever encountered. They never try to upsell you or misrepresent what can be done. Anyone that finds this place should consider themselves lucky. He is a master of his craft and a national treasure! read more

Miracle workers at a reasonable price. My Persol sunglasses dropped and broke in half right at the bridge. Replacing them would have been very expensive and difficult as I have a small face and this was the only small size adult sunglasses I was able to find. They are a few years old but really wanted to keep them. I had called around to a few places and was given quotes of $80.00-$90.00 to fix. One place said its impossible to fix them. I called the Persol store and they recommended this place. I called and was told $65.00. The owner said he couldn't guarantee but would try to fix them. I had stupidly tried to glue the 2 halves back together which unknowingly had weakened the plastic frame. Masters Optical was able to fix my sunglasses. The owner did a great job. I highly recommend this place if you break your sunglasses or eyeglasses frames. read more

I must admit, I was a bit on the skeptical side when I brought my Tom Ford's in for repair. My bf mangled the arm when he sat on them. I brought them to a few places but because of the position of where the damage was, no one would touch them and/or guarantee their work. Well my search for a miracle worker is finally over! Not only is this a mom and pop owned store (which I love to support), but the owners are nice, friendly, swift, fair, and most importantly, THOROUGH! My glasses were done in a day and cleaned to their original beautiful brilliance! Definitely worth driving the extra miles into W. Hollywd for. read more

Wow. I cannot recommend this place more highly. Lest I set expectations that are not sustainable, I'll just say that the level of service, attention to detail, and professionalism is unmatched in any store I have experienced since moving to LA many years ago. Not only was my repair handled quickly and thoroughly, but it was at a fair price. Whenever I need frames, lenses, or anything with respect to my eyewear, I will return to this wonderful shop. If you have anything needed with eyewear, go here first and you will be treated right . read more

I broke my glasses and two optometrist places told me that they weren't able to fix them. I even WORK at one of the optometrist offices. Both places just didn't have the right tools for my situation. I got referred to Master's Optical where they told me that Bob can fix pretty much any broken glasses, and they were right! He fixed my glasses in an hour and now I can stop wearing my contacts 24/7. He offered a cheap price of $20, so he saved me from purchasing a second pair of these $500 Salt glasses. Highly recommend! read more

Cannot give enough accolades to Master's Optical...they are absolutely amazing. I had about seven pairs of vintage Cazal's, Pucci, Gucci, Dior, And Versailles that were in various states of disrepair (arms broken, lenses scratched, pieces missing, etc)., and I had been looking for someone to repair, and was referred to Bob Kim at Master's by a friend. I live in Northern CA, so I needed to ship down to LA. I took pics of all of the glasses and indicated what needed to be done and emailed Bob...he responded quickly letting me know that he could repair all of the glasses, replace the lenses with the gradient faded lenses I was requesting, and add my prescription to a couple pairs that I had chosen. He completed all of this very quickly (within about a week and a half (even though his store was going to be closed for 3 normal business days); so the turn around was outstanding. And the repairs and new lenses? Epic!!!! He did such an amazing job...such beautiful work!!! I cannot recommend them enough...you will not be disappointed...you can trust Master's to do a meticulous job, and get it right! 5 stars all the way!!!!! read more

Stepped on my favorite pair of Persols, snapping both metal and plastic in the stem and frame. I thought they were done for. Brought them in and let me tell you this repair job surpassed all my possible expectations - Master's brought my glasses back from the dead. Considering I can't buy these new anymore, I owe these guys a massive thanks! Not only is this as good a repair job as I could've hoped for, Master's got it done in 3 days (Thurs afternoon to Mon morning). Could not more highly recommend! read more

Very reasonably priced and fast turn around in replacing the nose pads for two of my sunglasses.

Bob has been making and fixing my glasses for 10 years. He has made progressive lens for my Celine, Chanel and Stella McCartney frames. I buy frames where ever I find them and then take them into Master's Optical. If he can't solve the problem or make what you need, it likely can't be done. Family business. Excellent customer service and expertise. I trust them with all my glasses and appreciate their fair pricing.

This is, by far, the best place in LA for eyeglass repair. Run by husband and wife they are quick, kind, thorough and very, very fair when it comes to prices and service. During the summer of Covid my wife's glasses broke on a Friday... snapped the frame at the nose bridge... soldering was required. Initially quoted one day to fix but when I told them we were heading out of town the next day they rushed the job and called me a few hours later to come pick them up! No extra charge. Now it's December, 2021... brought in two pair of my wife's glasses. Some readers and some sunglasses. Minor repairs needed, they fixed one in five minutes and gave me back - No Charge!! Who does that nowadays ??!! This place always delights me with its customer service and friendly attitude. I will never go anywhere else read more
