I have a pair of Oakley glasses and the little nose protector thing fell off (yes, "little nose protector thing" is the official name, hahaha). I came to this location looking for a replacement for my glasses. The gentleman at the front register was super friendly. When I told him what I was looking for he reached into a drawer next to him and pulled out a bag with some extras in it. Rather than try and sell me something, he was kind enough to give me a new pair. That was really nice of him. I love this store. I've been shopping here since they opened. I forget when that was but it was many years ago. I believe they moved in when the H&H complex opened. Shopped Oakley's Black Friday sale 20% off. I got a new and personalized pair of their Radar line. I was not sure which product to go with but Josh and Victoria were the best and so helpful. Victoria helped me find the right frame fit because I wasn't sure to go with Path or Pitch lenses. They had a whole counter, drawer, bins, and display racks loaded with all the parts and frames to build totally custom glasses. The polarized Prizm frames are the best on the market. I appreciated the staff's help because I would have been there for hours having a blast but totally unsure with so many great options. In all it was a great shopping experience thanks to Josh and Victoria, make sure to ask for them when it comes to Oakley's eyewear. Don't go anywhere else, I saw a lot of stores around the area but am so glad to have gone straight to Oakley's flagship store in Hollywood. So happy with my Radar EV Pitch Prizm glasses. read more

I'm a big oakley fan. I'm also a fan of this store because I like the layout--spacing, display, and easy browsing. I spend a lot of my hard-earned cash on their quality shades, goggles, and snowboarding gear. Their customer service here is very nice. They're very patient as you peruse their shade styles and watches. Also, once my friend was iffy about buying some sandals, and the guy at the counter said that since we work in the area, we should come back the next day as they would have markdowns. He didn't confirm that the item she wanted would be marked down, but I think it's really nice and honest that he would say so. They don't do price matching, also. We called the next day and found that the sandals were still the same price, so we saved ourselves the trip. read more

Third time in this store, third purchase too! Greeted when walking in. I was looking for replacement lenses and they only had one kind for mine. They were busy so I changed my own lenses to avoid the wait. We were interested in customizing another pair, but we felt that the wait was going to be a while and we didn't get any sense of enthusiasm from the crew to help us or that we should wait. In other words, they didn't show confidence in what they were doing and any excitement in customizing a pair for us. Completely different experience than the one I had at the Oakley vault in the Camarillo outlets. Clean store and great products as always though. I drove all the way from Orange County just to go to THIS Oakley store based on my previous visit and the excellent reviews from my fellow Yelpers. Well that and I also had a 25% off coupon. lol. The Yelpers were right.... The customer service in this store is amazing. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Kat. I told her what I wanted and she helped me pick the right color and lenses. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I even had time to tell her that people said nice things about her here on yelp. She had no idea! If you're looking for some badass sunglasses, great quality, and excellent customer service, then this is the place to go. Seriously. This is my first pair of Oakleys. Excellent customer service. These guys know their stuff. Lots of product. I visited the Foothill Ranch location (the Oakley hq) and this store was much nicer. It's conveniently located at Hollywood/Highland..yea, the touristy stop but whatever, it's seriously 50 steps from the metro station which is uber convenient. If you're looking for sunglasses, one of the associates will gladly walk outside of the store with you so you can test them out in the bright Hollywood sunshine. The dude was patient while I spent 15 minutes swapping trying on sunglasses outside: "This one...or this one...but I like this one...no, this one!" Oh yea, and fork over the extra money for POLARIZED sunglasses...they are awesome! I didn't purchase the sunglasses I wanted yet...but when I'm ready to, I'll definitely go back to this store to get them. read more

It's Oakley - not much you can say. But here's to trying. To me, it's one of those stores where I'd go in looking all happy because they've got really cool stuff, but then I'd leave all depressed because I can't afford anything in there. Even if I could, I wouldn't buy it because knowing me, I'll leave it somewhere and end up sitting on it, or not use it at all. Anyway, I love their sleek, clean decor. Service is decent even though I browse in there for so long without buying anything. Selection doesn't seem to be overwhelming but it's a good size. It's a must whenever I'm in the Kodak Theatre area though. Next time I'll have to check out if they have any snowboarding gear. read more

Great store with various items for both men and women. Love the sunglasses and the customer service is fantastic. Every single person in the store greeted me and made sure I was ok. All the Oakley stores I've been in have great customer service and this shop is no exception. Oakleys may seem light as hell but they are quality made and durable and have great optics - especially if you get polarized and iridium (they look mirrored and come in different colors). I have a few pairs of Frogskins and bought prescription Oakley lenses for them. The great part is that the Frogskins and many other models are easy to pop the lenses in and out so I can swap my rx lenses out when I want a change in frame color. Also if you have a few pairs you can swap out various lenses they came with. For example I have purple and blue iridium and grey so I can mix it up with my different frames and get a new color combo. They sell a good lens cleaner that comes with a microfiber cloth and case and the spray is lifetime refillable at any oakley store for free. If you're trying to figure out what lenses work best for you they let you try them on outside and compare. For me it was really important to get a dark tint that didn't change how colors looked too much so I went with black iridium. Oakleys come with a 1 year warranty but if you register online you get 2 years total. read more

I didn't really have anything in mind, and was just browsing, when this guy named Adam that worked there came up & introduced himself. Normally I avoid employees that approach me at stores, but this guy was so down to earth & real with me, that I felt like he was an old college buddy or something. Besides that, turns out he knew so much about Oakley, I was convinced that was his last name! I honestly think had I been approached by the average person you'd expect to greet you at a store like this, I wouldn't have bought anything, but this guy talked me into to dropping over 100 bucks on a pair of shades! Especially, Paul aka P-Fab makes shopping at this store a great experience. My husband and I are huge oakley fans. We own about 10 different types of shades. We bought them from different Oakely stores in Orange County and LA, but hands down the store in Hollywood was the bomb because of P-Fab!!! He was so funny, kind and helpful as we were perusing the shades and asking for assistance with pieces that we needed for our current shades like Oakley cases and nose pieces for our Radar shades. Great Product! been using Oakley M-frames as safety glasses for years. Oakley personnel have always gone the extra mile and warrantied products even when the warrany was questionable. They just replaced a pair of boots for free that started peeling. I have worn them every day for a year and a half at work. The Hollywood Oakley store has shut down. that's right out of business. I knew this was going to happen, due to Oakley has made terrible decisions on hiring people who work for them. they hired a new manager that never worked for Oakley and put him right into management. he was very unfriendly and rude. I had a very bad experience at this store with him and a female employee that they hired at the same time as this new manager was hired. I made several complaints to supervisors, told them I would never shop them again as long as these two employees worked their. they did not listen. I knew that it would be a short time that this store would shut down since they kept these kind of people working for them. Clinton is the absolute best hair stylist!!! I explained what I wanted and he cut it perfectly. I have difficult hair to cut (curly and short), but he created a masterpiece. Parking . . . well, it's Westwood Village, so arrive a little early to find a spot. There's a free two hour parking garage a block away, but it's usually full, so you may find yourself circling the blocks looking for a free 2 hour meter. But IT'S WORTH IT. I would like to give this store a better review but the salesman gave me very inaccurate information which caused me to make a purchase I am not happy about. I bought a pair of Radar sunglasses with a polarized lens and although they could not "etch" it there the salesman assured me they could at the headquarters in Irvine and I could either mail my lens in or go in person. When I tried to do this I learned that because the lens already had "polarized" etched on it they could not perform my etching. I love the sunglasses but if I had known this I could have ordered them online as I had planned on doing, whereas this salesman misled me to make a purchase in store. I would highly recommend buying online if you know what you want. read more

I went to the Oakley store to buy some new sunglasses and some clothes. I was NOT approached right when I walked in, the lady in the front completely ignored me and continued talking to some girl who was there. A fe minutes later, I was approached by Hannah, she was the BEST help ever. She helped me pick out the sun glasses I wanted and made sure they looked good. Then she assisted me in picking out some clothing items which I normally wouldnt wear but I gave it a shot and they looked great. Maybe this cat lady should be more like Hannah. She was such a great help! Will deff be returning to shop there, only if cat is not there tho! read more
