absolutely awesome store, they had so much stuff that i definitely need to come back for more. First off they had a bunch of pieces from brands like Demonia and Harley Davidson, some things were a bit pricier so if price is an issue for you maybe wait on this store since not everything is bank breaking expensive but most pieces mainly the clothes and accessories that arent in the cases are over $60 which isnt a lot in my book but for some people it can be for one item. Pricing on things like Demonias wasnt a huge issue for me since id much rather buy from a place like this and give my money to them than buy from bigger name brand places like Hot Topic but also any problematic places like Dolls kill and Demonias. Staff was cool and helpful, they kept asking if i needed help or wanted them to get anything out for me. Overall pretty cool place, nice staff and a lot of awesome pieces with a big variety of stuff. Ill definitely end up coming back since there was a lot more i wanted to get but definitely visit this place its worth it. read more

Whenever I'm on Hollywood Boulevard I just don't feel right unless I see a punk rocker. Of course crazy /color hair ,some spikes ,a little bit of plaid , fishnets, Combat boots and of course Cool band T-shirts. It's so important to rep your set . In normal talk that means represent your band . Today I was super excited . I just received my yelpies 2021 reviewer of the year award . I had to buy a shirt so that I'll always remember this day. Oh I love a good band T-shirt. It's definitely on the list of things I like to collect . I loved everything in here. In the back there's a bunch of cool bondage/vampire/punk rock/mistress attire. I walked in to check the price for biker's jacket and nobody bothered me. It made me feel relax and I will bring my daughter to check out their selection. This was my youth dream and I did own several leather jackets. Now seeing all these brings me back to my memory. Still like heavy metal bands and still like leather jackets. Just LA is too hot for jackets and I am getting old physically. Love this place, keep up the good work. I stopped by today and talked to the boss and shopkeepers before they were close. Not long ago, they got robbed at gun point. One pairs of pants and leggings were taken. Everyone is nice here as this is my first time to talk to them. Super awesome shop. Love the gothic vibe. They have what looked like Demonia shoes and lots of other items that were handmade. I bought an epic ring which came from a guy that lives here in the u.s but they weren't too sure his name or other info. Still great deal. Gotta love personal made jewelry and other items. This place has been around for years. I was in high school when I used to go there frequently for patches. I decided to pop in today with my mom. And it was just as awesome as I remember. The girl working there was super nice and helpful. My mom is in wheelchair and she did everything she could to help accommodate that. Oh Hot Rock. You know I love you when I go into your store three times in one week. Hot Rock lives and breathes awesomeness. When you walk in you feel a bit...close. The store isn't small, it's just packed with Rock and Roll everything as far as the eye can see. The front of the store has the usual piercing supplies, but move a little closer and you'll notice that the store has a ton of Rock T-shirts, patches, stickers, and decals. What you want they probably have. Move a little more and you'll find all sorts of jewelry and for very good prices. Move a little more and then stop breathing. Why? Goth clubbing heaven. Or at least as I see it. The have all the big providers Lip Service, Tripp and they even have Demonia shoes. I picked up a sweet pair of lace up vinyl boots for 39.00 bucks. They also have a 40% off sale rack, which rocks my socks every time. Yes I will take that skirt, kthnxbai. The service is fantastic, sometimes the owner will even wait on you. Im impressed by what this store has. Merch everywhere, alot of different bands to choose from, patches, rings, belts, pants, some baddass metal boots, and what not... Tiny shop packed to the brim with leather jackets, rocker tshirts, patches, belts, but trek to the back past the sale rack and it's lip service heaven. They even have stuff that's not on the lip service website and prices are comparable, plus you get to try everything on, touch it, smell it, ah! it's heaven. I won't lie, I prefer Rock Town which is just down the street from this place. The two are almost identical, but there is a distinct difference between them. The customer service. Here, I was treated like a second class citizen, and every sentence out of the employees mouth seemed to be condescending. I'm sorry I don't know every.single.item. You have in stock, but please don't be rude about it. Asides from the poor customer service, this place is awesome. The selection is badass, and you can find just about any rock related item you could ever want. They have such a cool setup, I just wish it was more professional, and maybe a tad bit cheaper. I walked out with two shirts from my favorite artist, and was automatically $45 poorer. I think that is a bit too much for just your standard old band tee. Rock town was much cheaper. I got into an altercation with the Japanese restaurant management next door when I spent all my money here, and tried to pay and ran out of funds for my dinner bill. The owner of the Japanese restaurant took my iphone until I could secure payment (completely out of line), and I went here to refund something so that I could pay for my food bill. He was super nice about it and let me refund something, and offered to cover my check next door. He also went with me since he knew the management on a personal level. I absolutely love this store. I came upon it by accident about a year ago when I was wandering around hollywood & highland and boy am I glad I found it! I'm of the fluffier persuasion, and this store definitely offers bigger sizes, as well as awesome clearance (usually 40% off) rack(s). Also, their boots and heels all go to bigger sizes (I wear an 11-12 in heels and the same in boots, most stores don't carry these), and a pair of platform boots will only cost you ~$100. The people they have working there are very helpful, and the store has a small dressing room available upon request. I definitely recommend this to anyone (male or female) who wants a gothic/ industrial/ punk/ cyber/ sexy wardrobe for relatively cheap. Hung up on the walls are tons of shirts, as well as Shrine coats and tops for males and females, and in the back there's more of sexy stuff for women, such as the heels, clearance rack, all the uber-sexy outfits that run up to 2X or 3X I believe. In the cases in the middle/front of the store they have awesome rings, necklaces, gauges, patches, pins, novelty items, etc., and they're open until 9 pm. If you like this store, I also recommend wandering about 2 doors down to another store that's much like this one, the woman working there is awesome. Definitely a great place to stock up on awesome stuff that you don't necessarily see everyday or even online. I'm a long-term customer for sure :) read more

Needed some (p)leather shorts to be Freddie Mercury for Halloween and this place had the perfect fit. Had tried so many venues prior, local leather retailers, fetish stores, online, ebay - all to no avail. But Hot Rock came through in spades. Sales girl clerk was super helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly, too.
