It's a jacket I would pack to go to, preferably Lake Tahoe, but Big Bear is much closer. I'm not sure if ever been in a Prada store outside of Venezia and Milano. I don't think I've ever purchased a designer handbag from a location within the states (sunnies, and scarves but no bags). I was looking for a handbag in a certain color and not many brands had a color similar to what I had in mind in a style I felt was versatile for its purpose. I spotted a cute sporty Prada that I can dress up or down (with hardware color of my preference) and decided this would probably be as close to what I had in mind in terms of color so I'd treat myself. Why the hell not, right?! I checked inventory online and it said this location had one in stock. My partner was looking for specific shoes but instead of pulling it up on their computer, she asked us to do it using our phone which was okay, but then I decided to sit down and watched my boyfriend and the associate scan through his phone for the specific shoes we were looking for and then I saw her making faces and rolling her eyes, I brushed it off, until I saw her look at the associate across the room mocking him and judging him and rolling her eyes, the second associate asked "why whatsup" yes I saw everything happen. And so, the girl with my partner continued rolling her eyes, and the other associate approached them and so I had to tell him that we should just shop elsewhere, because of how they were towards us. We were dressed appropriately, nothing with brand names written all over our clothes but oh we have spent on rodeo and we don't need to dress in loud attires just to be treated properly. We ended up spending in ysl and other stores on the block where we were treated with kindness. Is this how you guys train your associates? Or is it just the associates on rodeo. Learn to treat your customers with respect and kindness, as we do with your employees. We walk in all smiles and even greet you guys but you guys treat us like nothing. The associates are meant to sell, they do not own the shop but they represent your brand. This is not okay. Plus, sorry, they wanna judge how we look? This is a tough review to write because there is a huge difference between reviewing Prada's products versus reviewing their retail locations and their return/pricing policies. This 1-Star review is strictly regarding the latter. I think it is simply OUTRAGEOUS that you can pay full price for Prada products at their Beverly Hills location and then find the EXACT SAME ITEM for $1,000 less at Costco! What is next, Hermes at Sam's Club???? I think not! I think it is simply OUTRAGEOUS that after finding out the same item is available at Costco for $1,000 less, Prada would not either take the item purchased at their store back (because it had been used twice) or price match. The fact that Prada is willing to diminish their brand by selectively selling items CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN THEIR FLAGSHIP STORES in warehouse stores gives the appearance that Prada is a brand in decline. If the Costco merchandise had been discontinued items... I almost would have forgiven Prada. The fact that Prada's reaction to this being discovered was "piss off" gives the appearance that Prada is arrogant and does not believe offending their customers will lead them to shop elsewhere... For the record, Channel, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Hermes, Celine and a dozen other designers I can think of care far more about their brand and their customers than apparently Prada Beverly Hills does. read more

When I finally get the bag in my hands it's not in a box like the first one. I message with someone on the site, they say a box will be sent. 1 month goes by, no box. I just called and was told they don't send out boxes?! So even though the original bag came with a box, this one doesn't?! I'll stick with Chanel. read more

If you can't keep all your receipts or Authenticity Card until you throw tour product away, don't bother to buy Prada. They just declined to accept defected Prada bag because i did not have receipt nor my Authenticity Card was fully filled and registered to their system. I have authenticity card and product serial number with me and it was not enough. The quality of service here I've received lately has been unacceptable. I came in for a very specific made to measure suit. They didn't have anything close in the store so they took my info and said they would reach back out to me when they receive the example suit for sizing. The sales rep contacted me via text and sent me photos of the item. I told him they looked great and I'll come in tomorrow to try them out. I drove in from an hour away, waited in line to enter the store, then waited in the store for him to be free simply to tell me that he doesn't have the suit, it's in Milan. And the photos were from Milan. Why couldn't he have just texted me back that to begin with boggles my mind. I've never received such poor communication and service from prada in the decade or so I've been a customer. Seems like it's gone to the pooper. read more

i went in to pick up a bag i purchased and the workers were gossiping literally right next to me about how the bag i picked up was just a trend that "everyone has been getting" didn't care that i spent the money i worked hard for on something ive been eyeing for a long time. tall dude with dark skin and a girl were very rude. everyone else was super nice, a lady older than those 2 helped me with my purchase of a perfume that i tested and ended up buying as well. didn't catch names as this was during summer but don't very snarky and rude to customers just because you work at a high end luxury store. being a worker doesnt make you any better than any other average person who works retail or any job in general. be kind and if you're gonna gossip don't do it in front of the customer who came in to pick their order up. other than that lovely location and store, just wish i wasn't made to feel some type of the way about the bag i dropped 2500 on. read more

I originally was going to settle with the rubber version of the shoe but when I got home realized I really wanted the patent leather... contacted them the next day. I mark my milestones with purse purchases and had bought myself a double zip tote to celebrate graduating with my masters. I tend to agonize over any big purchases but this one was a little spur of the moment (I seriously just drove to rodeo drive after the commencement ceremony). Boy did I wish I did some research. The purse was heavy and just wasn't practical for every day use which was my original plan. However, that's my fault and not Prada's. What was Prada's fault was my zippers rusting and turning black when I had used the purse less than 10 times. The original sales person I spoke to tried to blame it on me and the humidity of my closet. He then even accused me of being too rough on my purses! I calmly explained to them that I didn't use the purse and the humidity of my closet didn't seem to be a problem for my LV or Chanel purses. The SA kept trying to fight me but after 30 or so minutes of back and forth about how a $2000 purse shouldn't rust in the first year no matter how it is stored or used, he agreed to pay half of the cost of the repair (so the store would eat $80 and I would pay $80). He promised me 6-8 weeks with maybe an additional 4 weeks because their repair facilities shut down the entire month of August (BTW who just decides to shut down for an entire month?). 2 months later, I call in asking about my purse and they told me they didn't have any update and to just be patient because the repair facility was shut down. 3 months later, I call in again and they still didn't have a update and chastise me for calling in telling me they will call me when they get an update. 5 months later, I call in quite annoyed and refuse to get off the phone until I got an update. They were able to connect me with a store manager who told me they just ordered the parts from Italy and my purse would be done soon. I'm pretty upset at this point and she offers to pay for all the repairs to calm me down. (If you're wondering why I'm so annoyed, Prada had now had my purse for half as long as I had actually owned the purse) They finally call me a couple weeks later to pick it up. This is 6 months after I had dropped the purse off, 4-5 months longer than they had promised me it would be done by. It takes almost 20 minutes for them to find my purse and bring it to me. They then try and charge me the money and surprise surprise, the store manager who had promised to waive the fee was nowhere to be found. As I am waiting for the manager to approve it, I start inspecting my purse. Turns out they had taken so long to repair the purse that ALL THE ZIPPERS INSIDE HAD RUSTED AS WELL. Leaving black smudges and marks all over the inside. When the store manager finally came to speak to me (I had been at the store for 45 minutes at this point) she took one look and told me that the black on my zippers was just the gold plating wearing off. Never mind the fact that the repair shop replaced rather than repaved the zippers I had sent it in for. I asked her about the black smudges and the crack in the binding caused by repairs and she claimed that it was "dirt" and "normal wear and tear." They estimated that it would be $200+ to "repave" the black rust off of the zippers and refused to acknowledge that it was faulty manufacturing. My meter was expiring at this point (because who the heck would think picking up a purse would take more than 90 minutes) and I just decided to give up and never ever buy Prada anything again. Prada is definitely a brand that does not stand behind their product at all in any way shape or form. The ridiculous mark-up is just for the label rather than quality so I would advise anybody who values their money to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!! read more

We came here because hubby wanted to get me a handbag as a gift for no occasion. There is no shortage of sales associates on the floor and so we were immediately attended to upon arrival. Because hubby researched beforehand, we already had specific designs in mind and after closely inspecting our top choices, we settled on a beautiful pink Saffiano leather bag. There are 2 levels of opulence in this store. The leather goods are on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor houses the men's wear. The shoe designs veer towards the trendy, not to my liking but eye-catching, nevertheless. Service was quick and courteous and we were invited to come back and shop. Came here to get myself a birthday present and made a great purchase! Located in the busy plaza of Rodeo Drive, so it was very busy, most of the stores on Rodeo drive were crowded and streets were extremely busy. This place is spacious with bags/shoes on the lower floor and clothing on top. Staff here is professional. The sales guy that brought bags out that I wanted in multiple colors and similar ones around the same price range. He also offered bags that were new/limited edition. They also offered sparkling waters for all of my family members while they were waiting. I ultimately chose a nude bucket type shoulder bag, so far quality of the bag is amazing, easy to find stuff in my bag since there its a magnet clip type opening. The sales guy neatly packed my bag in a cloth bag with the straps separately wrapped. They also packed by bag in a box and provided me with a huge paper bag. They gave me SCRATCHED sunglasses from the display wall! I went in to look for a pair of sunglasses I just saw online, and managed to try on a few pairs before picking one out. During this whole entire time, even though I eyed a few staff members in order to get help, I received nothing. One kind associate came over and joked for a few minutes with my boyfriend and I and helped me make a decision. When I finally chose one to buy, a different associate came over and said "Let me check our inventory for you. We have a few left, let me go grab a new one for you." My boyfriend and I walked upstairs to check out men's clothing, and came back down to pay for the sunglasses. He packed it neatly and nicely so I figure they were the new ones he supposedly went to grab. When I got home, excited and ready to wear them as I continue with my day, I noticed that these were the SAME ones I was trying on! The Prada logo was faded; PRA were almost complete scratched off, and only the DA were visible, and there were 3 additional scratches on the glasses itself. I was extremely disappointed and called right away to ask for an exchange. A sales associate told me over the phone that they would "investigate" and call me back. An hour later, no call; so I obviously called back to check in. They assured me that they were "working on it, and did not forget about it. Can we call you back later?" Of course, another hour passed and no call. I was very understanding and kindly called to ask for an exchange, which I thought was reasonable. I've gotten imperfect items from Louis Vuitton and Chanel before, and all it took was a simple phone call, a simple check for inventory, and a simple exchange. LOVE LOVE LOVE this Prada store. It is HUGE, has a great selection of everything and the staff here is a joy! They are so welcoming from the moment you cross into the store. I have only been here twice, have shopped both times and have my salespeople already. Yes, it's Prada, yes it's pricey and YES the quality is fabulous. But they have a sale twice a year, so at least come see them during one of these sales. Even if you are just browsing, the architecture in this store is a lot of fun. Luggage problem? They will fix and ship it repaired back to you. Men's shoes are extremely comfortable, but it is trendy and goes in and out. I normally do not do any reviews unless it's something positive but for this location I had to. When I initially went in to purchase a pair of boots along with a bag, they were super nice and very welcoming. After using the boots two times I went in to try to get a refund, the heel from the boot completely broke off, and I was in the middle of a event. It was extremely embarrassing and I was very annoyed that I had to go home early. The following day I took the boots to see if they would give me a refund or store credit. I drove from Temecula for the manager Cinthia to come out and said I cannot come in the store because they had an event. She was not helpful. She said because they have been worn before she was not able to give me a refund nor store credit. All she can do is send them out for repair. It's been over eight weeks and I have not heard from them. I decided to email her and until now she has not responded to my email. I have called several times and they do not answer the phone. I also tried calling corporate, but according to them, they are not able to give me any information. I would have to walk in the store. This is extremely frustrating and being that I'm coming from Temecula I am more frustrated that I'm going to have to take an hour and 45 minute drive to know the status of these boots. read more

Not just on the first floor but even upstairs on the mens floor where despite there being four staff on the floor, no one asking if we needed help. 2. Zero attention to detail: Sales staff gave me a completely scratched up belt buckle without letting me check the product before they wrapped it. The sample I was shown was brand new, but what was wrapped... a different story; and then claimed that it had been worn when we came into exchange / return it. Of all the top brands on the street. This Prada has the worst sales. I asked him for a key wallet and he is rude and just say we don't have anything like that. Other stores, the sales serve me drinks and pull out many different varieties for me to look at. As a one of the top brands, that's not the service customers should get.
