Sherry Andrus, the owner of this boutique , who refused to speak to me on the phone the day I tried to make a return/exchange on a defective pair of leggings and she also failed to email me back after I emailed her regarding the terrible customer service I received at her clothing boutique. I tried to contact Sherry to make things right, prior to posting on Yelp but obviously she does not care about her customers or about her reputation as a business owner: The letter I emailed Sherry reads as follows; Dear Sherry Andrus, This letter serves as a formal request for a full refund on the leggings that I purchased from your store. I purchased XCVI Chocolate brown leggings on 10/15/21, and paid a total amount of $68.00, plus tax. It seems that the leggings are defective . The leggings have ripped. I became aware of the holes in the leggings at the event that I was attending, which was the first time I had worn them. Each of the holes or rips are near the back pockets were the thread is unraveling. I came to your store on 10/19/21 to return the defective merchandise and was treated rather poorly by your employee Madison. Madison had the audacity to suggest I was to blame for the hole and rip my b the leggings. Madison called You on the phone, to ask for your advice on how to handle the situation. Sherry you were equally has rude, passing messages to Madison over the phone , refusing to speaking with me directly after I requested to speak to you several times. You instructed Madison to offer me half of a store credit. I have never been so insulted, what the hell is half a store credit. Madison kept stating that the leggings were made of high-quality material, that the leggings did not leave the store in the manner. Obviously, that is a lie. These leggings were Defective and you chose not to be accountable for your merchandise! I am from Chicago, visiting Dallas, helping my daughter relocate for her job. We were shopping in the Bishops Arts area and saw your store. I thought your clothes were really cute, trendy, I liked what I saw in the display window and decided to shop there. I spent $252.23 in your store and this is how I'm being treated. I have shopped at many high-end retail stores and was never treated this way. I chose to spend my hard earned money at your store and I do not appreciate being treated like a common criminal, as if I was lying about the leggings being defective. I don't know how you have a store at all with your horrible horrible customer service and return policy. Also by the way your return policy it states on the receipt we except exchanges within seven days of purchase. You should accept merchandise back that is defective graciously without any issues just the way you took my money. Your prices are rather on the high side so you should have fantastic customer service.

Well, it's always fun to walk into a shop and be offered champagne! This charming place had fun clothing (including Texas themed), jewelry and gifty items. Prices were too high for me on some items but I still enjoyed looking. The clerk was warm and friendly. Check it out when you're in Bishop Arts (as well as the Epiphany for men shop across the street!)

Loved this cologne " Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Baccarat Rouge 540" that I wanted to get after loving a sample overseas in 2024. So Saks filed for bankruptcy. I was back in the US, California to be exact. I did not read any of the reviews of Saks online plus the Yelp reviews as well. Impulsively ordered this online on their site, prepaid and was pumped to get their e mail confirming pick up at their 9600, Wilshire Drive Beverly Hills California 90210 store. Picked it up from the Women's return counter downstairs where 4 ladies stood around looking at their nails and new i phones and cluelessly told me nope they didn't have it despite my showing them my ID, Amex card used and their 2 hour old e mail. One of them finally made an effort and retrieved the pre packaged bag from the adjacent back room ( 10 feet away). Got home and all the excitement went to s€#^ as I sprayed it on and nothing... It was weak. It was not the same. Beautiful bottle but the contents were debatable. Called CS who are slick - "take a photo of the entire package and send it to us, we have to approve it. No you cannot return it to our store. It has to be Fedexed ( you customer have to pay for it) to our return center in Pottsville Pennsylvania. They will examine it and then approve it. We will send you a gift card for the net amount- " wait! Whaaat? I told the young lady in CA that there was no way I was going to accept a Gift card and go back to their scam business. Then went to FedEx in Fontana who stated ohhhhh perfume - no, no, no special box and packaging - another $5.97 and we can't accept it - you have to go the Walgreen's across the 215 Fwy and ship from there. The comedy continued as the Walgreen's photo counter employee with the FedEx sign stated " but they are FedEx- they ship everything!!!!" . They did take it. I tracked FedEx to Pennsylvania and they got it 5 days ago and just issued the credit back to Amex. Whew! * Please read all the reviews and see how a lot of customers who are buying high end perfumes, colognes are ending up in the very same boat with the big leak and then having to deal with this. Saks makes it hard for you to return their bogus merchandise. Plus an attitude and hurdles all along the way. You've been notified.

Neta, you're amaaaaazing!!! And all the Yelpers who gave this place a five star review, so glad I…read morelistened to you all because this girl got four new pairs of jeans! Woohoo! I haven't bought myself a new pair of jeans in a very long time because I hate shopping. Why? Because it's a painful process where I don't know which stores to go to. Because I don't know what size I am and don't even know how to measure myself. Because there are so many different styles of jeans to try out. Because I'm lazy and don't want to deal with it. Combine that altogether and jean shopping feels DAUNTING. But lo and behold, this was the best denim buying experience ever. This was my first time visiting That Jean Shop so I didn't know what to expect. Once you get situated inside the store (it's literally just you and Neta the owner), the magic begins. There are two rooms; I think one room has all the women's jeans and the other has all the men's jeans. There are these long, huge curtains that cover up a little nook - it's the changing room. Neta knew immediately what size I was by just looking at my figure. We both picked out different washes and styles of jeans I could try on. There were many different styles that I would never have picked out that I got to try on and LOVED. I was so surprised! Who would've thought I would actually like bell bottom cropped jeans? :) My petite ladies, if you have trouble finding good jeans in your size, come here as well. I'm 5' 2" and have always had trouble finding good jeans that aren't a bajillion inches longer than my ankles. All the jeans I tried on fit me like a glove. I won't need to get them personally tailored/hemmed. The whole process took about an hour; not once did Neta rush or pressure me to purchase something. She was so sweet, funny, and personable. And boy, she's knowledgeable about her denim. Her prices are also reasonable and she doesn't charge tax if you pay cash. Thank you again, Neta! Hope to visit again soon. *I do recommend that you call and make an appointment before you visit the store. It's not your traditional store where it stays open from 10am to 7pm. Neta is very flexible; I called the day of to make an appointment, and she booked me in to meet her an hour later.
