Harry helped me out with cleaning an amazing 70s Rya shag rug that I found at an estate sale. It had a horrible dog pee smell to it and I knew I needed serious help. Harry saw photos of the rug and said he could clean it no problem- and said if he couldnt, there would be no charge. This is some old school customer service and above and beyond. I took it over to him, and received it back a couple weeks later. To my dismay there was still just the tiniest bit of the odor on one end of the rug but enough that I could notice it. But true to his word, Harry told me to bring it back and he did another round on it free of charge. Now its the most amazing thing in my house and smells brand new. This is my second time getting a rug cleaned from Harry in Messerian Rugs. This is my late grandma's rug that my aunt now uses. This rug sadly has not been cleaned for 30-35 years and was definitely neglected, but this business was able to clean the rug thoroughly for the rug to have no musty smell anymore! This rug probably requires more than a regular rug clean for the original color to be restored, but this will be for another time. I highly recommend Messerian Rugs. I have never used rug cleaning service, but my dog has peed on my uncle's rug several times with the last one being the worst (see pictures). We brought a new puppy home and our adult dog was STRESSED out. One morning about a week after the new puppy came home I woke up at 6 am to a terrible smell...the poor adult dog had a biiiiiiiiig accident all over a beloved rug I've had for over a decade. I took my 9x12 Persian rug to Harry for cleaning. This is a rug that has lived through numerous dogs, three sons, and hundreds of family gatherings. It was very soiled and the fringe was a mess.
