I moved into a new apartment and I've been looking for a rug to tie the space together for months. With Covid it's been tricky finding a place to physically look at the rugs and to see it in my space with the option of returning it if it doesn't work out. Needless to say it's been challenging finding the perfect rug. I stumbled upon this store and am SOO grateful I did! The owner, Beris, is above & beyond. He helped me look through literally EVERY rug that had the dimensions I wanted. He even put each one side by side, and by the window, to see how they look with different lighting. Not only that, he packaged the 3 I couldn't decide from and let me take them home, try them all out, and bring back the two I decided to not go with. In the store I showed him pictures of my apartment and furniture and he gave me recommendations based on that. All in all, I'd recommend him & his store 12 times over. I love supporting local businesses but this one absolutely has my vote! I have no doubt you'd be beyond satisfied if you choose them to find your rug! read more

Rugpublic is amazing and we are so sad to see it go! We just moved to the area and needed a new rug for our home that we are still preparing to move into. They showed us dozens of rugs from their huge selection to choose from, but also discussed how each rug might complement the space or how we might want to decorate if we choose it. They also discussed the various differences in both design and build of various hand-made rugs depending on if they are Afgan, Persian, Turkish, or Indian. We ended up buying rugs for two rooms that we love! Not only did they help us find and pick these rugs, but they also gave us the interesting backstory and history of each rug. I wish they weren't moving out of the area since we have much more decorating to do, but hope that more people visit them before they close! read more

I had the absolute best experience at Rugpublic in Montrose! I needed a white/cream colored rug for my baby girl's nursery and I just couldn't find the perfect one! I literally happen to pull over to check my phone after a doctor's visit and interesting enough, I pulled over by Rugpublic. I looked up and noticed the store and thought to myself, ugh no it'll be a waste of time to go in there, they sell persian rug's it'll be an arm and a leg but i went in anyway and I am so glad I did! A nice gentlemen approached me and was super friendly! I told him what I was looking for and he began to give me all sorts of options! He explained to me the difference between machine made rugs and handmade one's and their price differences. I wanted to go with a 4x6 rug and he didn't have that size. I explained to him that the next size up which was a 5x8 might be too big and he actually let me take it to my house and try it without paying for it! He just took down my information and let me take the rug! I was shocked! Turns out the 5x8 was absolutely perfect.
