I realize that their focus is on much higher priced rugs, but they still should meet very basic minimums. They said our rug would come on Friday a week after we ordered it. It never came. We called and asked what was happening. They said that it didn't pass their quality check and a new one would come the next Monday. We called on Monday and they said it would come Tuesday and we could come get it. I reminded them that I had already paid for them to deliver it, and he asked who I was again. I'm not sure how he was quoting a delivery day when he didn't even know who the customer was. When the rug was finally delivered, it is flawed. It is a geometric symmetrical pattern which isn't symmetrical. I have called, and asked for it to be replaced. He told me to text pictures and they would "make it right". Four days later and checking in one more time, I am still waiting. I wish we had bought elsewhere. If this were a cheap rug I bought from Amazon, I wouldn't complain, but a rug from a rug store should match the one you picked out in their showroom.

Plus the pricing is great! I bought a hand loomed rug that would have been 3 times as much anywhere else. On top of all that, the customer service is as good as anywhere I've ever been and I'm not exaggerating. They brought the rugs I was interested in to my home first so I felt comfortable making and purchasing my selection. They were patient and helpful throughout the process!!! Needless to say it's been challenging finding the perfect rug. I stumbled upon this store and am SOO grateful I did! The owner, Beris, is above & beyond. He helped me look through literally EVERY rug that had the dimensions I wanted. He even put each one side by side, and by the window, to see how they look with different lighting. Not only that, he packaged the 3 I couldn't decide from and let me take them home, try them all out, and bring back the two I decided to not go with. In the store I showed him pictures of my apartment and furniture and he gave me recommendations based on that. All in all, I'd recommend him & his store 12 times over. I love supporting local businesses but this one absolutely has my vote! I have no doubt you'd be beyond satisfied if you choose them to find your rug!

I usually need something that will last a year or so in a new apartment, look nice but nothing fancy that will lay around and gather dust for years to come. Angel's rugs was perfect for that. This shop sells very similar inventory that other places around downtown and the fashion district area do but I always loved the fact that I could come in, do some bargaining and leave this place with a couple of excellent rugs for very good prices. Easy. Since the store changed location it is no longer the case unfortunately. They now have very similar prices to local HomeGoods, World Market and now there's absolutely no reason for me to drive to that $#!& hole DTLA, where my wife was literally afraid to step out of the car. It's obvious that these guys are trying hard to grow their business further from that small room at the previous location. Staying in downtown and moving to even a worst neighborhood was an idea that's far from the best, in my opinion though. I stopped by this year, tried buying a few rugs but after the owners refused to lower the price from 3-$400+ dollars, I had no choice but to go to, what used to be their old location and buy two rugs from their neighbours at Trims and rugs. Sorry guys. I know that in business it's very difficult to recover from a lower price tier once everyone knows you as a bargain place to purchase things. I truly desire you to achieve the level of success that your whole family is aiming for but raising prices and staying in the same neighborhood where people go for one and the only reason, to look for bargains is going to be difficult, to say the least. Good luck. I plan to keep stopping by once in awhile to see how the store is growing and maybe, hopefully score a deal sometime.

The owner Sasha and his son Josh are extraordinary people who made us feel like family. They helped us find a beautiful rug in our budget, and we truly felt like we had made lifelong friends. Paulino and Joel were also so helpful and nice, and the adorable dogs made our day. I will not shop anywhere else for a rug ever again, and recommend this special place without any reservation. BTW If you're looking for the really good stuff, go next door to their sister company Amirian Tile for their top shelf selections. I took a moment to pause over the (what felt like countless) hours and thousands (more like tens of thousands ) I've spent here and honestly have nothing bad to say. This place is a local gem. It's where you should start your remodeling journey and most likely where you'll end up buying from if you do. Ok, one minor criticism. Glendale Tile has a classic movie popcorn machine. They should clean it out and run that baby like it was meant to be run or get it out of the shop. I see it and I crave some fresh popcorn but it's perpetually stale. I had somewhat of an emergency cleaning situation while I was in town, at a family home- 9 hours of hard cleaning labor specifically and, these 3 women got it done in 3 hours, THE SAME DAY I CALLED. They stayed until 6:00 to finish the job right. Not only did they bend over backwards to make this happen, it was a good value, and the ladies were absolutely lovely. I found that all 3 of the women were trustworthy, hard working, prompt, accommodating and friendly. If I EVER need a cleaning service again while in town, I would not call anyone else.
