It was aight. Enchiladas were exactly as described but nothing mind blowing, considering the price at $16 including tax. I had my food to-go, but there is ample table seating along with some counter height tables and a bar in the rear of the restaurant. Seems like a decent neighborhood spot for drinks and Mexican food. Don't know how this place got 4-1/2 stars! Wasn't impressed, actually disappointed. Food was just ok, nothing special. The best part of the meal was the margheritas. The menu choices seemed limited. To begin, We ordered the fried plantain with garlic sauce. Delicious, but they give you like a tablespoon of it. The nachos had no melted cheese, and dried black beans that looked old. The shrimp tacos were boring and bland as well as the carnitas. There's not much else to say. The pics look better than the taste. Won't go back. read more

My Daughter and I were out shopping and were looking for a new place to try. Since we were in the mood for Mexican we checked Yelp and found this little gem! It's a small place, about a dozen tables and well decorated. The owner came right over to our table and greeted us and explained the food and drink specials, We had the house nachos and added chicken, the chicken was very tasty and the nachos were delicious. I had a house margarita on the rocks that was very good. My daughter had a steak burrito which she enjoyed along with a side of rice and beans. I had the steak fajitas. The meat was plentiful and well seasoned, cooked to perfection. The tortillas were served hot in a little covered basket. The peppers, onions and mushrooms were delicious. All in all we have found a great little gem close to home to come back and try more dishes. 4 stars read more

Both my girlfriend and I got steak quesadillas, served with rice and beans, ppl say the portions are small but in actuality, the amount of rice and beans are more than enough. After reading the reviews I wanted to give this place a try! I went for lunch and had shrimp tacos which were pretty good, I was impressed with my mango margarita as well :) The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is due to their lack of customer service- we waited 7mins before any of the employees acknowledge us and we had to remind our waitress of a few items that we originally requested. If they improve on their customer service this place could be a true gem! read more

This is probably the only Mexican Resturant I go too since I've found out about it. The staff has always treated me well & go above and beyond to make sure you get that great experience. The atmosphere is great, music is always great, the decor is very well put together. Their happy hours & weekend events are always a plus. My favorite dish are the rib-eye steak, medium well with a side of mash as well as the steak quesadillas & let's not forget the complimentary chips and salsa. The margaritas are to die for & for non alcoholic the pińa coladas, and mangonadas are great. I'm from Texas, so I'm always on the hunt for good Mexican food up here in NY, and this is the best place I've found so far. Their guacamole is fresh prepared at your table, and you're able to customize what goes in it. Service was horrible from beginning to end. We never got menus when we were seated so we waited about 15 minutes before one of us got to get them ourselves. 3 of our drink orders were incorrect and we were never offered to have them changed. Then when we ordered on of our parties orders was never even put in so they had to wait 30 minutes for their food after we had all already for ours. The waiter said he would have it comped off our bill and didn't. Not once did he or the waitress who forgot to put in the order apologize or even come by the table afterwards to check on us.
