Sorry to burst everyones "average" review bubble. But my experience here was first rate. Sat at the bar to have "hour hour" which turned into "happy night" We were treated like queens. The bartenders were like fine dining servers. Cocktail menu rocked. I had a spicy vodka concoction with cayenne, cilantro it was sooo good. My gf had some sort of strawberry thing which was just as creative and delicious. And they had my fav vodka for the rest of the night hanger one, I was set! The place is super trendy and ultra modern, yet cozy and intimate. Video art installations were rad, bathrooms were even bad-er. You're not gonna get this environment in OC, way more of an LA NYC vibe. Didn't encounter any hipster lameness, quality of crowd was high, good age range, variety of more educated, good jobs, professionals types. Sorry think the crowd is way better than obnoxious 21 yr olds or lame 30k millionaires fronting like they got money when they dont, a la newport style. I mean I guess if you dont like to carry on interesting, informed dynamic conversations with people, you could say the crowd sucks. Obviously if you want dive bar, why would you come here?!? Funkadelic! I actually dig this place for so many reasons! I would love to give it 4 or 5 stars, but I'll get to that later. Let's talk about what I like like first. The Atmosphere: From the moment we walked in we noticed a real cool vibe going on inside the restaurant. The bar centers the place with the restaurant surrounding it. They had movies playing high up on the walls next to the bar, but they weren't standard movies but more like old cartoons. Much like you might see in a swanky LA hot spot or something like that. It was hip for sure. Behind the dining areas surrounding the room there were plants growing out of the wall....whuuuuaaaat?? Hard to explain, but once again very cool. Overall the decor was cool, and the vibe hip. The bar was not only large, but also double sided to create action for patrons on both sides. Great stuff for eyefucking a babe across the bar! You gotta start somewhere! The Food: The food is fantastic. I started with the Pan Seared Muscles... freaking outta this world! The scallops were also very good. For Dinner my babe tried the Hen chicken which was straight forward and tender. Solid! I had the sliced Tenderloin which was tender tasty and delicious. The food was really good! THE PROBLEM: So why the long face kemosabe? Right? OK here it is... 1) They pour a freaking 5oz glass glass of wine for $10 dollars. Most restaurants pour a 8-10oz glass of wine for (prices that vary) but I know that I wasn't drinking a $20 glass (IE: Roth, Rombauer etc) of red wine. It's a fucking scam! Advantage bar owner... check! Just be straight with me and charge me $20 and pour me a full glass of wine. 2) The only reason I was drinking wine was the fact that they don't even serve Grey Goose! WTF!! Who doesn't serve Grey Goose?? Really?? That in itself is a joke, but whatever let's move on to bigger subjects! 3) Service. It was never that great to begin with, in fact it was down right donkey slow, but then to make matters worse the late night crowd kicked into gear (around 10ish) and the service went off the cliff. Which was a total bummer since we had spent around $300 for dinner for 4, and 2 of us were not drinking. We probably would spent $400-$500, and would have ordered plenty more of those 5oz glasses of wine if I could've found my waitress, she just disappeared once dessert was done. Bummer for her. 3) I guess overall after 11pm it's not my crowd anyways. When we walked out there was about 20 Asian dudes in line and two chubby girls begging to get in. They couldn't have been over the age of 24. I don't think they have dancing there. Hmmm. Side Note: The bathrooms are off the hook! I have to imagine that there is plenty of mad sex going on in all of those floor to ceiling locked stalls. They scream of sex, drugs, and rock & roll! Not a bad concept! If you haven't heard yet the retractable rooftop is the shizzle as well! Every half hour or so after 10pm they keep peeling it back to reveal the midnight sky! Very cool! Mesa rubs me in two ways: One way is a "oooo that feels good Mesa, keep doing that and keep the lights off so I don't see your real face," kind of rub. The other way is a "ewwww stop rubbing me Mesa, I don't want you all up in my business," kind of rub. The Good Rub: Amazing mixologists. If you want a classic drink made by a classy bartender; this is your place. I find the Old Fashioned here to be unparalleled. Mesa flows nicely; things seem to be where they should, I can get around without stepping through everyone, the interior is well designed, the retractable roof is class, and the staff are well dress. Noted. The Bad Rub: My experience with the staff is that they are pretentious twits, much like some of the clientele. I asked a lucid string of simple questions to the server at the front: 1. Can we get a table? yes 2. Can we order drinks from the bar and sit at that table? yes 3. Can we pull some seats from another table to accommodate our group? mumble nod So she walks us to our table and then gets miffed when I start to move seats. She then sets down menus to which I say, "We don't need these, we're just here for drinks which we are going to order at the bar." You can't do that. If you sit at a table you have to order from a server. Me: Um, I thought you just said we could do this? No. You have to order drinks from a server. Barf. After a run in shortly afterwards with a client who had an equal amount of mental obstruction, we decided it was time to leave. Conclusion: Come here for some good drinks with your own group. The shishito peppers are insanely delish - i loved them i ordered them twice. lol Drinks: Malbec girl here - their selection is smooth and also not pricey at all, always a plus. Atmosphere - wonderful. super sexy set up that is fun and intimate. The music is phenomenal every night, and its such a wonderful vibe. you can come here with a bf, friends, anyone. The first time i was here, it was for a friends bday. We got a cake, and gave it to the hostess who was said to bring it out later. But when later came, she said they lost the cake. How do you... lose.. a cake? It was so weird and confusing - even the manager said she had no idea where it went or what happened. That, to me, is kind of ridiculous. They didnt even offer to compensate us for the cake, or something else we paid for that night. Now, this was no ridiculously expensive cake - but can you imagine this happening to a party that did pay a LOT for a great cake? A little bizarre. I joined Yelp specifically to leave my review for this establishment. Pros: Decor Cons: Rude/snobby Service, expensive, smoking allowed inside due to open rooftop Mesa unfortunately has not lived up to my expectations and I've been three times. First two times I went was a week night and the experience was much more pleasant. My roommate and I felt like having drinks so we decided to check out Mesa. The decor was nice. Dark, sleek, a bit foo-foo but otherwise nice ambiance. The hostess at the front was a bit snobby but I can overlook that because later our waiter came by and was extremely amiable. He suggested some appetizers to try and explained in passionate detail how they were made. The drinks were so-so. Expensive but at least they didn't taste bad. THIS IS NOT A BAR OR LOUNGE. This is a sit-down restaurant. The third time I tried to go here I had a group of 13 with me. I wanted my friends to check out the place and was pretty much brushed off because we weren't there to eat. I was told repeatedly that "This is not a bar or a lounge. This is a restaurant. We never have been. And you can not stand in the aisle." The hostess was not apologetic and in fact was condescending. We were told repeatedly not to stand around and pretty much the overall attitude was "get out". Expect better service if you're having dinner there. But you probably won't be able to see your food since it's so dark in there. I would not recommend going to this establishment for meeting people or drinks. This place is very trendy with a fresh look. They have plants (I believe they are living) covering an entire wall of the venue. I thought that gave a nice look. The dining areas are circled around the bar and it was very open which I liked. I'm a huge people watcher and this is a great place to people watch because of that lay out. We had dinner and it was very nice. Overpriced and rather good but not fabulous. One of my friends said her seared albacore was bland. My boyfriend literally had just a smear of mashed potatoes on the plate. More for decoration than enjoyment. You don't have to gob potatoes on like The Cheesecake factory, but c'mon put more than a smear on there. He also ordered the spinach salad as an additional side and he LOVED it! He was still talking about it this morning. My Farfalle had maybe five pieces of bacon in it - but man was the bacon wonderful! It was different than any other kind I've had. Mmm. . .good. The drinks were a bit expensive but you would expect the price for what this place is wanting to be. Bottle of Amstel Light $6/each and my generous glass of cabernet was $10, I believe. The crowd seemed like a bunch of yuppies and yuppie wannabe's to me. It's been years since I saw someone who was so distinctly metrosexual. At this place, there weren't any other type guys that seemed to be there. Very done up. If that's your type of guy, great. It's just not for me. The girls weren't as well dressed as I would have thought for this kind of place. The guys were actually dressed better, in my opinion. The bathrooms were pretty cool. Unisex. Individual sinks and trash cans in each. Again, beautiful design like the rest of the place. Only problem with this: pee-pee on the potty from guys who weren't courteous enough to lift the lid. I celebrated my birthday at Mesa this past weekend and I gotta say, they made me feel like an absolute princess. I made reservation in the lounge area and on a perfect night, everything seemed to fall into place. The lounge area was luxourious roomy yet cozy and intimate all at the same time. Perfect lighting and although we were seated right behind the bar area it felt very private. Our server Sequoia did an amazing job of taking care of everything we needed. She was attentive and always quick to bring out our cocktails. My group of 10 girls felt much taken care of. The food was amazing as well. I can't say enough about it. Our drink of choice for the night was lychee martinis and it was deliciously perfect. Mesa is posh, it's sexy and it's totally chic. read more

I'm not sure what to make of Mesa. This place looks chic, modern, and trendy. I definitely understand the lure for hip young professionals who seem to be the target clientele base, but I just don't get it. It just feels like it's missing something and after racking my brain to try to get a sense of what it's missing, I think I finally figured it out. It's missing soul. It's pretty, don't get me wrong. All of the decor, the servers, the ambiance all play into what Mesa seems to stand for but it's just not for me. It just feels like it's missing passion and a desire to identify with the customer. Rather, Mesa feels nonchalant and apathetic; a sort of indifference that made me feel like I had to justify that I actually belonged in there. Thanks, but no thanks. I'd prefer to spend my money on service and an ambiance that actually welcomes me, not one that challenges whether I'm "cool" enough to be there. Mesa is located at The Camp in Costa Mesa. Haha, I was an idiot and kept driving around in the parking lot trying to look for this place. It's located right behind the Chevron station. I think the reason why it was hard to spot is bc the restaurant does not look like a restaurant from the outside. Plus, the name of the restaurant isn't clearly visible. Actually, I take that back. In clear daylight, you can see the name MESA...but I was trying to find it at night...so that's why I couldn't see the name... Anyway, I went here last night for a friend's surprise engagement party. They open at 6pm and I had several drinks to drop off and luckily the guy working the phones was able to help me around 3pm. We had a section reserved for us which was on the right side of the restaurant, a little elevated from the rest. Let me say, this restaurant's architecture and decor is REALLY nice. Like...really. I enjoyed the space they blocked off for us, for it comfortably fit our party and also gave us room to stand around and mingle between tables. You can totally come here to just hang or for a special occasion. I really dig the atmosphere here. BATHROOMS: I have to say something about the bathroom. There is no guy and girl bathrooms. You basically walk into the bathroom area and there are about 6 tall doors on both sides. There are lights at the top of each door, indicating whether it's free or occupied. I love bathrooms where the stalls are very private. The bathrooms here and like that and each bathroom also has a sink inside. SERVICE: I've been in the restaurant business before...and it's no easy job waiting on a huge group. With our brought wine and cake, our waitress was super friendly and accommodating. She made sure we had enough glasses for drinks and checked up on us occasionally. FOOD: We didn't order any entrees, but we got ordered a lot of appetizers and small plates. The two things I tried that stand out are the steamed mussels and tempura green beans. Gotta try those. Hopefully the next time I come here I can try some entrees. Sidenote: As we left near 11pm, there was a line forming outside. So if you're planning to come by on a Sat night, make sure you come before rush hour...or else you'll be standing outside. I love it here! Super trendy, the drinks and food are amazing and the atmosphere is very sensual and sexy. It's 21 and over only so it's very adult-like and fun! Of all people in the world to introduce me to Mesa.. it turned out to be my Mom. She made reservations for my Birthday dinner. I knew nothing other than to dress nice. From the outside, I wasn't impressed, but once you walk in, the ambience takes over. It has a great Mid Century swank to it...the open fireplaces and low furniture looks great. I will admit some touches are a bit cliche. Mostly I want to review the Drinks! Ditto on the Martinis, Im not a fan of Vodka myself, but those Black Lychee Martinis are hard to resist! The drinks are good, the food is delicious. I've been here twice and have enjoyed all of it - best is the cast iron mussels and the brussels sprouts with chorizo. I'm a big fan of this place - its loungey, good lighting, an awesome retractable ceiling that opens to a skylight, and the crowd is generally a little upscale but not yet booji. It caters to a little more mature crowd, not the frat/fresh out of college kids. Table seats are a little romantic. There's also a big bar which usually doesn't get crowded until around 10pm when the music starts up louder and the place kind of turns into a club. Quite a small, unique venue. Went on a Weds night for a friends bday. Thought it was OK. However, wouldn't go back and for several reasons: 1) Bartender was rude. bypassed me FOUR times. i asked to order more food and he said in a no where near nice manner "the kitchen's closed". Then asked for my bill and took another 20 minutes to get it. RIDICULOUS! I was really irritated and I had a $100+ tab. he should've known better. 2) Music was alright. Maybe because it was a Weds night. 3) Drinks were expensive. the late night happy hour menu was alright. Had some calamari (which was barely any bites) and some of my friends steamed mussels. Ehhh. Things that I would like to rant about? 1) LYCHEE MARTINI! so deelish. 2) I don't smoke, but you can smoke indoors if you wanted to. there's a retractable glass window ceiling. which many of my smoker friends loved. and met this one MIL not to F with PINK cigarettes. too awesome. 3) it's close to my home. This place is alright, been here a few times and it's been pretty much a very average experience each time. It's a pretty cool place to hang out with a group of friends but seating might be problematic since it's usually pretty packed. Drinks are pretty good and they have a pretty decent selection on their cocktail menu. I mainly come here because well there aren't many places like this near where I live and I think that's how they get the majority of their business to be honest. 08/23/08 (Saturday night): I truly do NOT like the staff who are in charge of managing Mesa. From my personal experience yesterday evening, my friends and I haven't been treated so poorly at a restaurant since I was in high school...and I'm 29 now. We had a group of 13 with us when we arrived at the entrance of Mesa around 9pm. The two hostesses (one looked like Dominique Moceanu from the 1996 Olympics) and doorman (looks like Kevin Costner from "Waterworld") made it known to our party that they were at full capacity and could not accommodate our group. They offered to take my name and cell phone number down and said they would call us later in the evening if anything opened up. We decided to wait. As we waited for 1.5 hours, while at the front of the line, we continued to see groups of 4-5 people continually be allowed in past us. The doorman kept saying that they were beyond capacity. The hostesses claimed that the groups that we constantly saw walking past us had reservations. One even agreed that "although she didn't look like she was trying," to rest assured because she was doing everything she could to get us in. At one particular moment, the doorman commented that we should have known to make reservations because we couldn't show up to this place like it was a "club." We obviously weren't dressed for dancing, but said we only wanted drinks. Alas, they still said that they didn't have an open table. At the 2 hour mark, we finally became upset. We argued that we consistently said that we never even wanted a table, but would actually prefer to stand around the bar area. After a few moments when the arguing stopped, the doorman finally said, "We can now accommodate you." Please. As our party entered Mesa, we discovered that the place was "DEAD!" As in empty, not full, OPEN TABLES throughout the restaurant. Unbelievable! We waited 2 hours for an empty restaurant with a bar and were irritated beyond belief. We left after 20 minutes. Positives: 1. Sheik design and lay-out. 2. Large, Full-service bar surrounded by plenty of open lounge seating. 3. No out-door sign gives it an incognito, Hollywood type of feel. Negatives: 1. Staff. Hostess #1 2. Staff. Hostess #2 (Dominque Moceanu from '96 Atlanta) 3. Staff. Doorman ("Waterworld" Kevin Costner) 4. Drinks were watered down. I've never been treated so poorly by an entire staff until Mesa. I can't imagine how they believe that they're some sort of "high-class" restaurant deserving enough to exclude people from entering...only for an empty, dimly-lit restaurant with sub-par drinks. If one may think I'm being harsh, then please realize that this is my 1st "1-Star" ranking ever. Best of all, "Dominque Moceanu" even came to our group while at the bar and said that next time to ask for her and she'll be sure to get us in. If anything, she should have apologized. I'm sorry, but this place is the shit. You will not find something like this anywhere else in Orange County... it's a cross between upscale/hipster LA and NY, and NYC is my jam. So the first time I was here, I was on a date. Thursday night, it looked packed (good sign in my opinion). The first thing my date shows me are the co-ed bathrooms, which holy shit, are the coolest things, ever. The retractable roof, the awesome movie displays on the wall. It's just awesome awesome awesome. I've also been here on a chill Tuesday night (11pm-ish). When you want to kickback drink a wine and have their wine/cheese platter and relax. Go with a group of friends and CHILL, this place is as UN/ANTI-OC as it gets in Orange County. If you loathe the OC and the typical people of OC, come here. Oh and get the tempura fried asparagus and/or fries. SO GOOOOOOD. Physically one of the nicest lounges in Orange County hands down. Sleek, stylish, sexy, smooth. I could go on and on with a bunch of S words to describe the physical decor of the lounge, however I can only think of one word to describe the patrons; sh*tty. It's a shame because the place has nicely laid out seating, tables, fireplaces and a roof that opens up to the night sky. I remember when Mesa just opened, I loved the place. I guess it is only natural that "The OC" wannabees have migrated here. The decor appealed to them and they multiplied. It's pretentious for sure. I remember when one of my drunken friends spilled a drink on accident, the tables nearby looked at us like we had just beamed down from the mothership. I went to Mesa last night with my wife and had an INCREDIBLE time. We had reservations and were sat immediately upon arrival. To start, the atmosphere is awesome - very modern and fun. It is like a big party and you are eating in it. It is not distracting at all if you don't want it to be. You can join the party or get cozy with your loved one, and join later if you want. Right after we sat down we were greeted by our waitress, Marisol. Marisol was super friendly and helpful. She navigated us through the menu and gave us tips along the way. I always like asking the servers what they would recommend. Obviously, not only is it fun discourse, but this way you can find out what they are known for and specialize in. Marisol pointed us to the pork belly appetizer and oysters to start. They were both very tasty, especially the pork belly. We then moved on to dinner. My wife loved her short ribs, and I had the best salmon I have had in years. I usually don't order salmon at restaurants but Marisol recommended it, and it hit the spot. Throughout the dinner, the service was impeccable. Besides Marisol, the manager, Julia, even came by and made sure we were satisfied. The drinks were flowing throughout the night. They have several good beers on tap. I also had a Bonita Applebum (nice shout out to ATCQ) which was a bourbon based drink that was fantastic. For dessert we had the hot cookie bites (I am not sure of the exact name) with a Patron coffee shot. The perfect match. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant. Last Friday night, I got off work, walked out of the hospital and was in the mood to grab drinks with my hubby somewhere fun and hip but not too crazy. Mesa is the perfect place to hang out, grab some beautiful food with beautiful people, and have a good time. I changed out of my scrubs into black jeans, heels and top and was ready to go. My hubby was on the top of it and made us a reservation at 9pm. The atmosphere inside is dark and chic and service is on point. We started with two lychee martinis and they were bomb. Best lychee martini I've had. They use fresh lychee puree with some type of pineapple addition, sweetening it and making it almost more of a sweet treat. For drinks, we started off with the mussels and an order of the ahi tuna tacos. Then we added on a pizza and some shishito peppers. I was starving so the food went fast but none of the dishes were super memorable. Shishito peppers lacked a bit of flavor, and tacos were good but too dainty to be satisfying. Mussels were flavorful but got a bit dry on the heated skillet. Mushroom pizza was yummy. We ended the night with a few more drinks. :) Overall, I had a great time. Although it was loud, it was not SO loud that you couldn't have a conversation. We left around 10:30pm and the place was definitely heating up. Why do I keep coming here? I've been here many times in the past and I usually walk right in, but apparently there is a long wait outside now, like it's a club but really it's just a bar/lounge. The bartenders are slow and i've only seen, at most, 3 serving for at least 50 people waiting around their huge bar. This isn't a 'happy hour' type place either. If you're on a budget and are coming here with a date, try to come around your payday. The co-ed bathrooms make it twice as long for anyone to use the restroom. It took my friend 15 minutes, just to pee and we were only there for an hour! Ok, so I'm butchering this place but I do want to come on a weekday and try an entree. l heard the chicken is really good. We'll see about that.... read more

I went there for the first time with a bunch of friends and was VERY impressed with the whole European vibe I got... Not the fake W hotel feel in LA but much more of an attempt to break away from the Modern/Asian fusion type places. I don't smoke but the fact that they got away with the smoking indoors by using a "En Plain Air" patio was very eastern European and still done with class! Came here after dinner on a whim with my date. It was a really fun experience...I wish I was more dressed up since after 10pm, the crowd is ready for a night on the town. I just really love the ambience of this place, the seating is a bit odd, where you might sit RIGHT next to some strangers, but if they're hot, who cares anyways, right? The waitress was really friendly, not pretentious at all, but she was busy, so flag them down when you can or just go to the bar. The bar is awesome with the open roof. I like this place. It's like my Cheers but with a swankier modern backdrop. Typically crowded with a good looking, upscale crowd, it's obvious I don't belong here but I still like this place. The hosts and hostesses are great, they notice we're regulars so they let us through with no hassle and genuinely seem pleased to see us. What I really do like here though is the drinks, the barkeeps, no matter who they are, seem to really know what they're doing. I've had some really great Old Fashioned's and Manhattans here and when I want to get really crazy I'll ask for a Kamikaze or an equally delicious Adios Motherfucker. Classy. I appreciate that no matter how crazy crowded it gets they take the time to make you a good drink, that's very commendable. I will happily fork over $15 for that drink now. read more

Mesa, where in the world are the bros? You know, the ones with the hats? The Fox T-shirts? Not here. For those of you that want a different atmosphere, but not a club, more of a lounge then this is the place to be. Get a table if you are going to eat, nothing is more frustrating than eating at the bar with no elbow space. Make a reservation in advance then. I believe cover charge starts at 10PM. --WHAT SHOULD I ORDER-- 1) If you are coming here for dinner, I got the Home Burger and it was amazing, this is the type of burger you know you rather be eating than that salad you see at home. Skip that for leg day if you must. Eat with napkins, burger is too juicy for bare hands. 2) For desserts and wine, get the Bread Budding and the Housemade Ice Cream to finish your evening off. --HOW IS THE SERVICE-- Overall, the service is good. Waiter service and then food arrives at the table within 20-25 minutes. --WHAT IS THE PRICE-- Expect each person to pay about 25$-30$ at the end of the bill. My date took me here last Saturday around 9pm and it was our first time here. The restaurant was fairly busy and all the tables were booked for reservations; however we just couldnt understand why they just couldnt let us sit for awhile because I bet by the time were done with dinner most of the tables will still be empty. Anyways, the host told us that we can just grab a sit by the bar. Luckily there are a couple of chairs open so we grabbed it. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The theme seems to be very unique and organic. Lots of woods, plants, and leaves. We noticed the open rooftop, awesome for the summer! Our bartender Vicky was very welcoming after knowing it was out first time checking out the establishment. She recommended us a couple of appetizers and we end up getting all if it. We ordered the hamachi, god it was mouth watering each bite. She also asked if we liked steak tartar because they were voted to best steak tartar in Orange County. She wasn't kidding the steak tartar might even be best in the WORLD!!! I was very distracted by the hot sizzling mussel skillet that keeps comming out and everyone seems to be enjoying it very much. We add an addition order of mussels right before we ordered our entrees. After trying th mussels I understand why it got everyone hooked. The mussels were juicy and tasteful. Not to mention it was a great portion considering the price. For my entree I got the Halibut, I thought since all I had was seafood lets make it a combo seafood! The Halibut was very light and enjoyable. Just what I need since I had so much to eat already. My date got the hanger steak. I tried a piece and I really likde that light spicy sauce. on top. The service was incredibly great. Vicky was very sweet and accommodating. She even surprised us a complimentary dessert since it was our first time there..and definitely wont be the last! This review is for my friend's wedding last night. By far, this is one of the best weddings I've ever been to and yes, it was at this lounge! It was an extremely non-traditional wedding with the flairs of american culture, go-go dancers and all. Now for my review of this venue... Valet service: 5/5 (very courteous) Bar service: 5/5 (very friendly bartenders) Wait Staff: 5/5 (super friendly and very courteous) Food: 5/5 (grilled peach salad w/feta cheese had a smokey flavor to it, salmon w/carrots and cauliflower crumbs was my favorite..it had a hint of acidity that worked well with the dish, the mashed yams was very smooth with no lumps and had a hint of sweetness to it, the brussel sprouts were halved and grilled w/a little bit of char on the outter leaves, the chicken was very moist w/teriyaki sauce?, the bread pudding with ice cream was moist) I've never been to Mesa Lounge before, but the space is beautiful with an opened ceiling on one side of the room. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PLACE. I have came here before and had such a fun night. Their margaritas are super delicious and their food is really good. I decided to come last night with one of my friends and NEVER HAVE I EVER FELT SO DISRESPECTED. We came after going to another bar and wanted to listen to some good music and i told her this place is awesome. We went and there was a line to get in which was totally understandable. We waited 30 min. And we were close to get in. Probably only 5 people were in front of us. Then the bouncer was telling everyone in line we are to high capacity we are not letting anyone in there is no point waiting. The guy in front of us said "even if people are leaving we cant go inside?" And the bouncer said no. I still waited 5 min. Since a lot of people in line were leaving. Then right in front of my eyes I see him let a group of 5 go right in without waiting. And when almost every person in line left he let more people in. The only person left in line was a guy that had been waiting forever to get in and didn't even let him in. I FELT SUPER DISRESPECTED AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. Who the heck is this person think he is. So if you want to come here You do not treat people like that in-front of their eyes it looks so bad for business and WILL DEFINITELY TELL A LOT OF PEOPLE I KNOW NOT TO COME HERE AND WILL TELL MY FRIENDS THAT ARE REGULARS WHAT HAPPENED. read more

I have been to Mesa I number of times for various occasions. I felt compelled to write a review this last time because it was the best service I have received in OC! I was served by Lauren and was very happy with her attentiveness the entire night! I also got a chance to meet the manager Julia who made sure my experience was a positive one and that I would be coming back! To cap off my night the valet left my car right up front.
