We were seated quickly, our drink order taken, and off to the buffet. There's quite a variety to choose from! I tried the general tso, boneless spare ribs, chicken wrapped in bacon, pork fried rice, chicken teriyaki, fried chicken wing, and a couple pieces of sushi roll. There was quite a bit of seafood that I didn't get to (didn't see that station). I'll agree with some of the other comments on yelp in that the food on the buffet was not that hot. That said, I thought that is seemed very fresh. I liked everything that I tried with the exception of the fried rice which I thought was very bland. There was lo mein as well, if i go back I'll give that a try. I don't eat enough to get the $18 worth out of a buffet, but I do like that I can have a bite of a number of different things without committing to a whole order of 1 thing. I definitely think that this is a good spot.

My sister had been here before and knowing that we love a more intimate setting, this was perfect. There were 12 of us. We each did the buffet. They serve beer by the bottle and wine by the glass. Juice is very reasonable. A regular is $3 and the large $6 (giant cup). I had Mango, sis had cashew, brother had guava. All were delicious! Check out my pictures for the food selection on the buffet. The pork was moist and juicy, the yellow rice with beans was favorite by everyone! There was fresh fruit cut up and even rice pudding. I'm very pleased. The meat was actually seasoned. They have the specialty meats that you can get also for an additional price. My granddaughter was THRILLED! Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. (Plus its super close to my parents house...I can grab food, no waiting, and bring it over! Win-win!)

Having read the other reviews I have to agree that the place has a grimey feeling to it. A feeling like the entire restaurant needs to be pressure washed and the carpets ripped off and replaced. The workers were super friendly, but there was some definite disorganization amongst them. I was waiting a good 15 minutes before they could decide who was going to be at the omelette station. I laughed cause one of them picked up a broom and was like: "I did it yesterday, it's so and so's turn today." Then there's the quality of food which is basically bare minimum - the cheapest possible available and it shows in taste and appearance. At least... at least the coffee was decent which was a pleasant surprise, and the omelette was actually pretty good and that's pretty much all I would have from there. I wish there would be more fresh fruit. The cinnamon rolls - very obviously from a can. The gravy for biscuits obviously from a pouch that had water added, heated and served. You see what I mean? like its all quantity not quality. Which I guess you can't expect much more when its 13.99 per person. Maybe it's because it was morning, but we found the bathrooms to be clean which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I view golden corral as a place you go to when there's no other option as it was in our case within walking distance. It's cheap in both price and quality. This is the epitome of the saying: "You get what you pay for."

I had a list of what I was going to order-two items I had prepared to eat at home. The soup-chicken sweet corn-nicely diced chicken and vegetables was one of the best soups I have ever had. The garlic nan was garlicky and so tasty. The tandoori lamb chops with the lime marinade were some of the best lamb chops I have ever had in a restaurant. The vegetable pakora sampler-everything was great. The green salad-was large and fresh. I have zero complaints about the food. My son and I had over ordered and had plenty to take home---it was one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant in a long time. Now, for dessert, I had mango ice cream--I love ice cream-after each bite eaten I felt like I was in ice cream heaven. Only complaint service was on the slow side. My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, especially as someone who has to…read morefollow a strict gluten-free diet. The waitress seemed to have very little knowledge of gluten allergies or cross-contamination. I specifically informed her of my dietary restrictions before ordering. I was interested in trying the Cajun rice, and when I asked about the ingredients, she simply explained that it was rice mixed with sauce. However, after taking a bite, I realized it tasted exactly like regular shrimp fried rice, which commonly contains soy sauce with gluten. Unfortunately, I became extremely sick after eating here, and what made the experience even worse was the complete lack of concern from the staff. No one checked on me after I reported the issue, no one offered to remove the dish from my bill, and there was absolutely no effort to address what had happened other than taking the dish from my plate. Beyond this incident, I've noticed a consistent pattern of poor customer service from the waitresses here. Once customers are seated, the staff often retreat to a corner and scroll through their phones instead of checking on their tables or making sure guests are being taken care of. For a restaurant serving customers with dietary restrictions, proper knowledge of food allergens and cross-contamination should be a basic expectation, not an afterthought. This is not simply a matter of preference; for people with conditions like celiac disease, consuming gluten can have serious health consequences. Overall, the lack of attentiveness, accountability, and basic understanding of food allergies made this an incredibly unpleasant experience. I would strongly caution anyone with gluten sensitivities, allergies, or celiac disease before dining here.
