    Winter menu

Cute and cozy coffee shop. I got their winter menu - the winter spice with fig, coconut and orange. I didn't fall in love with the bend of flavors, but I like the approach! I would be back if I'm in the vicinity.

What a cute spot! Love the plants, wall paper, the overall look. My drink was DELICIOUS!! I did an iced chai with espresso and their banana bread flavor and cold foam. Perfectly iced. Not too much, but also enough so it's cold! Also, this is one of the most delicious cold foams I've ever had! I sadly couldn't taste any banana flavor though. My only feedback would be to add some signage on the back door. I had a stroller and wasn't able to go through the front. I was going to leave, but decided to walk around the back of the building. I found the unmarked door and just went for it. Glad I did :) The baristas were also very friendly and laid back. I had my two babies with me and the barista encouraged me to let my son touch the wind chime hanging in the corner, and that made his morning. Will absolutely be back, love supporting a family owned business.

Cozy, comfortable, and calm. Very chill and serene; good vibes. The Murphy latte is a must have. About the size of my family room with a few tables.

We had the pleasure of trying Mercury coffee on the go at a non profit event. Their Americano and peppermint mocha was absolutely delicious. The baristi was fantastic. Menu was easy to read and abundant options to choose from. Quick service at this event.

Excellent friendly servers. Highly talented barista. Delicious lattes. Egg sandwiches were OK but they're not made in the house and you could taste they are not freshly made. That said I would absolutely go back. It is small, but we were able to find plenty of seating. Highly recommend stopping in here if you get a chance!

Mercury Coffee is such a vibe. The flavors are always on point, the staff is genuinely so kind, and the whole space just feels warm and inviting. It's the kind of spot where you can settle in, relax, and actually enjoy your coffee. Highly recommend if you're looking for something cozy and consistently good.

new coffee spot in Rochester. it's cozy and has a seasonal menu alongside their regular menu. I tried one of their autumn drinks, the Murphy which is a cinnamon/vanilla latte. I'd say it's alright, your typical latte but I think not enough to justify it being $6.75 lol. Favorite local coffee shop. Nicest folks, delish coffee, coziest vibes. Very inclusive and kind from all of my experiences there.

The expansion was much needed, as I had some crowded previous experiences and found this to be one of the downsides of the location. The expansion has truly helped the shop to reach its full potential. The demand was clearly visible as I stopped in around 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night and found it was quite busy, with patrons coming and going. I ordered a strawberry refresher and found a cozy reading spot. The barista who took my order was so sweet. I really enjoyed her kind personality. As always the dessert case was filled with appetizing treats, though I did not indulge during this visit, I love getting a look at them. They are always pretty. Staff were pretty quick to clean up tables so there was always somewhere to sit down. The Iced Mango Matcha Latte was my favorite, where you can taste a sweet matcha flavor with a hint of mango. They warm it up for you, which allows for the croissant to have that flakey crunch to it paired with the pistachio paste.

It looks like has gold accents dripping among a natural wood, white and tile backdrop. Whenever I drive by the parking lot is slammed. I knew this place had to be good. There is almost completely instantly a line and I felt lucky to find a table. It's simply so popular, I don't know if it's large enough. The tables are close so if you're trying to have a private conversation-you won't get it here. There is a variety of seating options. Comfy conversation chairs, a booth banquette with chairs on the other side, chairs and tables, and a bar top along the windows with outside eating for warm sunny days. The cups are a rich brown color with gold probably Arabic writing. The dessert case is filled with sumptuous fruit shaped mousse desserts. The coffee itself is beyond compare. There are boxed games. Things are delivered to your table on wooden trays. It's so elegant. I cannot say enough nice things. The staff is so friendly. I had a Nutella latte and a raspberry dessert. I asked which dessert was best, the lady at the register said the mango. Mango is not my thing but she said next best is raspberry. It's the perfect size. A hard crisp shell, creamy mousse and a perfect raspberry center. I also got a pistachio latte. Both were excellent.

I always like to look for espresso specials and we were not disappointed by the selection. My fiance got The Snug with maple syrup and molasses bitters. I was too afraid to try any drinks with bitters (I hate how it tastes in cocktails) but I took a sip of The Snug and it tasted great, I would definitely try that next time. I had the B.B.L. latte which had banana syrup, it was more on the sweet side but not overly sweet (I would avoid it if you don't enjoy a sweet palate, try a latte with bitters instead!) It was something unique to try and I was happy with my choice. There was also plenty of seating which is always a huge plus in the winter in Rochester. We had no trouble getting a table. I should also note that there was a very limited food selection here -- about 3 baked goods offered. So if you're looking for food and coffee, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Overall I would happily try out Ugly Duck again! I'm curious if they have outdoor seating in the warmer months.

To counteract the limited seating, there isn't any wifi. While I can respect this decision, it is unfortunate that I was looking for a place to do work while sipping on coffee. I got the seasonal BBL (I'm assuming Banana bread latte). The latte itself is quite strongly brewed, and the drink was very banana-forward. There is a slight hint of acidity, but i didn't mind it too much. If I'm every in the area, I think it would be more prudent to grab something to go, but I do think it's worth visiting for the coffee and the vibes!
