I made an appointment two weeks in advance with a loaner vehicle. A day before my appointment the service department called to tell me a loaner would not be available. They had no reason to give me. I'm thinking that my vehicle was given to another client possibly that was going to spend more money. They used to be good. Had service there, didn't fix the main complaint but fixed another issue. Had the headlight bulbs replaced, water got into the headlights, dealer said the headlight seals must be shot and need to replace the entire headlight. This is a 12 year old car with 40,000 miles on it, gets serviced by the dealer regularly, is always garaged in a heated garage. It's basically driven by a little old lady, only on Sunday to church. PS If you call you can't get through to anyone, if you leave a message, they do not return them. PPS I've had 7 Mercedes over the last 30 years, 6 of them from Prestige They used to be good. I brought my car in to be checked for the new buyer who was out of state. After they checked the can the brought it back to me with the seat off it's rails. I asked them to put it back, and was told I was to blame as I had left a lacrosse ball in the back. The manager refused to do anything about it. I bought my 2014 E class wagon from this dealership over 10 years ago and have always maintained the vehicle here. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful in most aspects. Always have loaners available while your car gets fixed , and generally east to work with. Recently, I had to get parts for my car brakes, rotors, spark plugs, coils, as well as a few miscellaneous items. Edison Montaquiza, the parts manager there, was nothing but spectacular. He was a consummate professional and could not have been more helpful! I recommend having Edison help you in whatever way you need. I only wish I found him earlier. I've dealt with many service advisors over the years and NO ONE even comes close to the level of this man. I was able to resolve many urgent needs here. One was a very minor safety recall check and another was low tire pressure on all four wheels (thanks to the winter). It was a pleasure waiting a short while for servicing to be complete, considering that the facility is very large, clean, and entertaining. With such a big space, they pretty much have every car model here. More than half of them are unlocked, so you can explore during your free time. They have electric vehicles!! There is also a Mercedes merchandise store if you are a fan of apparel and accessories. The bathroom is very large with multiple sinks and is kept very clean. It's a nice touch that they have Listerine dispensers for good breath. I can imagine it's importance for the car salesmen, since they have to talk a lot! read more

Holy hell most of these people are awful. 1 month my car was here for a well-known suspension issue. They replaced parts without inspection because it's easier to replace and they have the parts in house. My main car concerns never got fixed, so I had to bring it back within 2 days. Next "evaluation" they did apparently showed new parts that need to be replaced. The most illogical thing about their entire service was that the new parts they wanted to replaced should be the FIRST thing they inspect and it's the most readily inspect able part, as it's literally in front of your eyes. The other parts costed me $4,000 and they still can't say it was needed. The new struts they quoted me for $5,000. That's $9,000 work in a very recent car. I get that luxury cars are supposed to be pricey, but luxury car dealers can at least start to be logical in their explanations of how they try to rip people off. Icing on the cake was the sales department calling me asking me to trade my car in while it's in repair, stating that I'll have spent nearly $10,000 so why not buy a new car? I actually like my car and there're many reasons I bought that specific year/model. Why try to rip people off and do a bait and switch? I took it to a Indy shop and they did for 40% of the cost and it's riding beautiful now. Cost-sleaziness aside, my service person assigned to me was not only a jerk, but I as inept as they come. Dude texts a few times a week. Sends every call to voicemail. Says he never got any emails. Tried to literally hide in an office when I showed up. Two weeks after dropping the car off I received a standard video showing rust and 2 refits detached from the subframe. I was then told the subframe was fine. When I went to pick the veh up, I asked the service manager (Vince) to give me in writing that my veh didn't need the subframe replaced. He refused! He then called the local precinct to have me removed from his office. I purchased a 2020 GLC-300 in cash back in August 2020. The dealership was beautiful, the cars were beautiful, my salesperson was beautiful. They were extremely nice to me prior to me signing the papers. Everything was good. I drove odd with the car the next day. For over 2 months, I was waiting for your NYS license plates. I called several times, and they kept saying it's delayed because of Covid. I asked them to send me another temporary plates so I wouldn't get tickets. I called them the next day, and they had an address I haven't lived there in over 10 years in Virginia. I don't know how they got that address. Well after all this, I finally received my plates in the mail a week after that. Now 4 months after I purchased the car, I called them back up asking where the title was? I paid for the car in full. No lease, or finance. My salesperson didn't respond to 3 of my calls, and a few text messages. I finally got a manager on the phone, and she said something to me that made me shake my head. She told me it's my responsibility to request a duplicate title with NY DMV. Now a duplicate means, I had one, lost it, and I am requesting a replacement. I spent hard earned money on a luxury car, and they are now asking me to spend more money to get the title for my car. Every single car I paid in full, the dealership did the paperwork for DMV. I should have gone with my gut, and stayed with BMW of Freehold. They were, hands down, the best dealership I have ever dealt with. The service department said they will call me back. After 3 weeks of not hearing from anyone I decided to call them and had to reiterate the whole process again. I recently had a crack in my front wheel on my Mercedes 2015 S550 4matic. I went online to mbparts.mbusa.com and priced the wheel at $768.00, however I needed the car, and could not wait for the order to come in. I purchased a wheel in the past (1 Sep 20) from Mercedes Benz of Paramus L766 and was given a 10% military discount. I am a retired Army veteran. I returned to the Paramus dealer and the parts department personnel told me that the wheel was in stock at a cost of $1084.50 plus a $150.00 core charge. I asked for the Military Discount and was told that they do not offer Military discounts. I informed them that I had received a Military discount in the past and was told that they no longer offer the discount. As a veteran, and a Mercedes Benz owner, I could not believe that this was happening. However, I needed the part, and I purchased it. Mercedes Benz should have in my opinion consistency in the parts purchasing process. I should receive the same price online as well as the dealer. I do not understand why I could not receive a Military discount that was once offered. I also do not understand why there is a cost difference of $316.50. When I arrived it took 30 minutes for someone to help me Picked it up today at the designated time and no problem with tire however ; Had to wait 45 minutes for my car 10-15 people were just talking and no one had any sense of urgency. Many did not know how to clear a path for new cars Finally drove off only to discover the set the pressure in each of my tires to 40 PSI( specifications say 32-34) Brought it back and they tried to justify 40 was correct. If you love Mercedes' do not go to this dealership. Everything from the sale to the maintenance is not good. I purchased a brand new GLC 300 2022 back in December. For starters I felt from the beginning I was being swindled....was going over packages and when I was ready to purchase the car the dealer suddenly tacked on $5000 to the purchase price. When I questioned it, they quickly removed it? Ummmm, Slimy?? Also, when I asked for a detailed list of comparable cars, they gave me last years models... I had to ask for 2022. (Maybe they were trying to get rid of last years models... i get it, but I clearly stated I was looking at the 2022 models). I should have just left honestly . The car itself is the smoothest thing I've ever driven, but when I purchased it, the breaks make an INSANELY loud squeaky noise when you put it in reverse. At first I thought this was because it was literally a brand new car . Well after several months I decided to take it in. I took it back to the Paramus dealership and I was basically told this is an issue with the model and there's nothing they could do. No vehicle brand new on the road should make insanely loud squeaking noises when I reverse. It's embarrassing! Mercedes Benz of Paramus sold me a flood damaged car and will not buy the car back. Dennis Adams, the sales manager is as unprofessional as anyone I've talked to in the car business. The car was delivered to me out of state and was rusted all the way through. I took a video of the undercarriage, sent it to the dealer and I was told there was nothing wrong. I threatened legal action and Dennis told me he buy the car back if a dealer could confirm. I took the vehicle to my closest dealer for inspection and they provided all the documentation confirming the flood damage. This was submitted to Dennis and the dealer still refuses to buy the car back. I am now taking legal action and I have documentation on everything. A few months ago, I arrived to purchase my used car that I test drove previously. When I arrived, I found two big problems with the car that I was not told about until arrived that day with my certified check. I'll only say the problem was similar to a non working sound system. After buying a brand C300 from this dealership, I had 5 flat tires on the same wheel, within 10k miles and a year of the purchase. On walking in to complain after it was getting out of hand, I was met with a manager who was trying to dismiss the case as usual and expected without even looking at the car. He cut me off, was rude and absolved himself and Mercedes of any responsibility. He blamed it on the low profile nature of the tyre and upon protest that it's the same tire and none of the other ones, he went on to say this is expected. The dealership had no issue charging her almost $350 for essentially an oil change, topping fluids, checking pressure, etc. But they couldn't be bothered to wash or vacuum the car. I had the worst service experience at this dealership. I paid $400 for an inaccurate diagnosis which they estimated at $4100. When asked for the error codes they said the system couldn't be read. My service advisor. Tamar was unprofessional and couldn't provide a comprehensive breakdown of the repair costs. I took my car somewhere else and the repairs cost $1775. It is disappointing to adamantly recommend replacing parts that work. This is why they wouldn't give me the error codes. I have owned Range Rovers, BMWs, Lexus, etc. but this experience by far was the most memorable. Specifically, my Sales Liaison Deshone Drummond, provided 5 STAR Customer Service and was very proactive with following up on what we discussed I wanted in my new convertible. When it came time for my purchase, I appreciated the simple things he knocked out for me like transferring my auto insurance. Although simple, Deshone allowed me to focus on my business so all I had to do was pick up my car. Something small, but definitely appreciated when I think about past experiences having to sit on the phone for 20-30mins to get this done. Important Update: we purchased an SUV very recently from this dealership to find that the car loan was sent to a bank that we did not authorize. I'm not sure how this happened and have an attorney looking into it. We have been paying Bank of America but never signed off on a loan from them. Our original paperwork has Chase bank as the lender. Hmmmmm....sounds odd. We do not trust anything this dealership tells us. We have asked for a reason, in writing, as to how they ended up putting the wrong bank on our paperwork. We knew something was wrong when we started making payments and the bank kept sending us checks back with no explanation. If this has happened to you get an attorney. If you bought a car and were asked to come back in to sign new paperwork get a lawyer to review it. I have been a customer here since 2009 and bought two SUVs at this dealership. However, ever since the dealership was taken over by a new company, Lithia, it has gone from a high-touch white glove dealership to a nickel and dime low rate operation. It was formerly Prestige Mercedes and now it's just Mercedes Benz of Paramus. I'm glad they took the Prestige name off because there is NOTHING prestigious about this dealership. I cannot believe the level of decline that has happened here. I have had to bring my car in multiple times to resolve the same repairs. The service guys tell you all this mumbo jumbo and talk in circles and then when you ask questions they try to use jargon to avoid answering your questions. The "diagnostic" tests that they run are a total rip off, and they seem to use this as a means of padding their service fees. It's even more egregious because you go in for one thing and leave thinking they fixed your car and you end up having to return it when the problem returns only to be told you have to pay another $600 for them to run another diagnostic test. It's ridiculous and a total scam. The turnover of staff is incredibly high and it is obvious that "making the numbers" is the only focus. First of all, my salesman that I had originally scheduled an appointment with wasn't actually in the office that day and I was not notified...bad start to say the least. I was coming in to discuss my lease-end options, as I currently lease a cla 250 4matic ending in 2 months(previously Prestige Mercedes.) This experience with the newly named Mercedes of Paramus was horrible. I was greeted by a gentleman named Derrick Fox (sales manager) and it was a very unsatisfactory experience to say the least. He made me feel as though he really wanted nothing to do with extending my relationship with Mercedes. He went as far as to suggest that I should entertain other brands telling me his wife pays more for a Honda...excuse me, what do I care about what your wife pays?? ...very unprofessional and ridiculous. They didn't even let me drive the vehicles I wanted to lease! They offered me vehicles I didn't ask for which is really unbelievable. My overall feeling was uncomfortable and a bit insulting. ***This is how they treat a current customer. I must say that out of all my car buying experiences and dealing with service appointments, MB of Paramus takes the prize for the worst experience of my life of dealing with a dealership. They roll out the red carpet when you purchase a vehicle, but the moment you drive off, you are no longer of any interest as customer to them. Time after time they have disappointment me by "fixing the issue" and not really fixing, to not having rental cars "available" when you make a service appointment. To walking in to the dealership to be greeted by employees enjoying cooler talk while having breakfast (sorry to interrupt you during work hours). To finally today picking up my car dirty on the outside since it snowed last night and not even have the courtesy or common sense to wipe it down.
